This is very true.
I shall give you another short story with a Foo and Random Egg Cave creature.

An old, wise and beautiful Foo walks over to a stream to get a sip of water. Suddenly, a Biwo shows up on the other side of the steam. They have a staring contest. Neither making a move nor blinking.
Without words, without even moving, they exchange respect with each other. They bow to one another and then they both turn around to head back to their dens. The Foo looks back, as does the Biwo. They both smile and continue on their way.
Beautiful pink flower petals fall from the trees as they walk away from each other, they both fading away into the petals.

New one:

A baby Rie cries out for it's mother. Hearing this, the Foo walks around trying to find the crying baby. She found the baby Rie, came over and asked "Where is your mother, cutie?".
The Rie whimpers back, "I don't know, I haven't seen her in two moons!". The Foo looks down at her, and replies "Maybe you should come with me then, dear one". She gently licks the Rie's face and they walk to the Foo's den.
Years pass by, the Rie full grown, the Foo older and even more stunning. They still love each other, like mother and daughter. Protecting one another and playing in the fields.

Trying to get the point across that Diabetes isn't a bad disease, and that it has shaped me to be who I am but comparing it to other diseases is a horrible thing to do. Like, can you even imagine how many times someone had compared testing their blood to chemotherapy?
