Firewask stretched her wings. The sun was rising slowly over the mountain. "The only way..." she muttered before she took off. Her large, powerful light blue wings lifted her high in the air. "The llamas are grouping together. They are heading north. This isn't good." she said. When the Llamas move north, that means danger. When they group together, that means that humans have been spotted near. She swooped down, exposing her sharp, bloodied claws. She quickly spotted the weakest one, a plump dam (is a mother). She had injured her leg and was staggering. "This is going to be easy," Firewask said, dipping down. She caught the llama, and after it stopped struggling, she settled down to eat it. Once there was only bones left, she looked around. The cracked ground was covered with a scent. She couldn't decipher what it was. She decided it was nothing. Then, she hid in a large cave.

Firewask slowly climbed out of the cave. She hadn't realized there was a tree next to the cave. A small fairy was sitting on a low branch. "Who are you?" Firewask asked, baring her teeth. She hadn't like fairies since Zephano had almost killed all the dragons.

Vera yawned and she slowly walked out of the cave she slept in. The sun blinded her eyes and she squinted to see around her. There was just the same old forest underneath her cave. She longed for a friend, it didn't matter who, just a friend was what she wanted. She sighed and flew down her cave. She landed with a small thump on the ground and saw a mouse. It was better then nothing. She then flew up and swooped down for the mouse. She then quickly gulped it down and sat in her cave again. Everyday was like this, she wanted a friend to go on adventures with, but who would be her friend in this land?

"Because. This is my land. State who you are and your business or I'll burn you to a toast," Firewask snapped. She shot out a flame that just barely missed the fairy's large wings. The flame seemed to eat the air around it. She wasn't afraid to burn the stinking little bug. Maybe she can use the wings for a trade. She imagined her large claws clawing holes into the perfectly formed wings. Then, she snapped out of the dream. She stuck out her claws. They were so close, they sliced a single hair off the short, disgusting menace. She closed her long, silver, steel claws around the fairy. She could feel the tiny, almost unreal, bones of the creature. She could sense the magic flowing through her veins. Oh, what she would do to squeeze every drop of the rare liquid to trade for something. Maybe she could get a pile of fish! She licked her scaley jaws, thinking about the delicious food. She squeezed harder, not focusing on the fairy. The sun was rising high now. Fairies can't stand full sunlight, she thought. It dries out their wings. She quickly spat into her free foot. Dragon spit turns into a string that is stronger than steel. She wrapped the struggling fairy with the hardened spittle and tied her to the twig. "Lets see you get out of this one," Firewask said with a smirk. Then she started digging. "Only a few more scoops!" she sang, making sure that the fairy prisoner was still on the twig. Finally, she found what she was looking for. A moonstone. A moonstone captures the magic of a any magical creature as long as it was empty. This one was empty. "Herkrada, Doshcabo, Norterny, FAIRY!" she said. Just then, the stone fell to the ground. She looked up. Another dragon was swooping down to the ground. "HOW DARE YOU!" Firewask screamed as she spread her wings. The air felt cool, yet she felt on fire. Who was this stranger? she thought. Finally, they were wing and wing. "HALT!" she yelled, slashing her talons. The other dragon gushed blood, but still flew. Pretty soon it was over the mountains. Firewask landed gracefully. She looked at the twig. Somehow, the fairy had escaped. "NO!!!!!!!!" she yelled.

Zjirl quietly sat on a farther off branch, watching as the dragon screamed in rage. 'It's quite fun to mess with this one!' She thought to herself. 'She can't even tell the difference between a allusion and a real one!' Zjirl couldn't help but laugh.

Firewask's mind was full of rage, she took in a deep breath and out shot a immense flame. It licked the air, following the fairy until it surrounded her. "Not so funny now, huh?" she screamed as she spat out the large flame. The flames left a trail of lava where it went. The lava only burns you if you are inside it. She cage was just a ball of lava, only a gap 1 millimeter wide was in it. "Have fun!" she screeched, burying the cage into the moist ground.

"Oh my gosh, you can't be serious!" The fairy stuck underground poofed into a puff of smoke and disappeared. "How many times do I have to tell you I can make allusions?" Her voice said, seemingly out of no were and every were at once. She then poofed onto the dragons nose. "Why so grumpy?" She asked, hanging upside down eyes full of barely contained curiosity.

Vera sighed and stepped out. The coldness went to her heart all the time, she would always feel gloomy. No friends, what else could be worse? She glided down to a river and stared in it. She saw a fish. She let it free, she wasn't in the mood for hunting, especially hunting fish. Those water creatures always had bones, tons of them.

Storm leaped from her hammock high in a tree, swinging on a few branches before gracefully landing on the ground. Brushing herself off, she stood to her full - yet short - height and listened as other creatures squabbled not too far off. Hearing a small river running to her left, Storm decided to set off for it. Rivers were nice, restful places to be - and more often than not you could find interesting creatures to meet.

Still hidden in the bushes, Storm was surprised to see a Griffen at the river, sighing to itself as it released a fish. Her head cocked silently to the side; why was the Griffin in the dumps? Storm settled for watching to see if the Griffen was friendly or not before blowing her cover.

Vera got up and then sighed. "No one would ever be my friend, after the rumor that my dad made to other griffens," she said sadly. "All the other griffens left on a journey without me, well at least the ones from my herd." Vera then walked by a tree and plopped down under the shade of the tree. She sat there for a while, just staring at the clouds.

Vera's tuft ears flew up as the voice said those words. When the other creature stepped out, she realized it was an elf. "Did you hear me talking to myself?" she asked the elf, "Well, my name is Vera."

Storm smiled sheepishly. "Yeah... I'm Storm." Her smile brightened a bit. "You know, anyone who believes rumors isn't very smart. That, or they don't know who you are at all." She sat criss-cross in the grass on the riverbank, reaching down a hand to let her fingers trail quietly in the tinkling water.

"Oh, I see. A lot of my old friends turned aginst me when they heard the rumor, I don't even know what the rumor is, all I heard was my name in the rumor when I was eavesdropping, by the way, would you be so kind and be my friend?" she said brightening up a little. Maybe this could be her chance!

"Would I be so kind?" Storm laughed quietly. "Please. Of course." Storm didn't take her eyes off the water as she said this, a smile brightening her face. The clear water held a small trout, which Storm nearly fell into the river to grab. She pulled it from the water, and tossed the still-struggling tout at the Griffin. "Like fish?"

Firewask slid into the bushes, her nose steaming. She wanted that fairy to leave, but the puny little thing had magical properties. Suddenly, she heard a voice. "I'm Storm" it said. Another trespasser? Sounds like an elf. I can burn it into dust. Then she jumped out onto it.
