Help please ;-;

Yesterday mango flew in to the wall and hurt herself really bad. She can't fly anymore and one of her eyes is hurt a little bit ;-;

but what can I do while I'm waitin to get to the vet? =o

oh and btw mango is my senegal parrot...

I'm really worried about her TT-TT help me please

I guess my question would be why are you waiting to go to the vet? If her wing is broken it may be irreparable if you do not go as soon as possible.

I'd try to keep her still for the time being. Make sure she eats and drinks as well. I'm not sure what else you can do.

@neko-chan yes, my first cousin have parrot, but I really don't know... He's parrot was fly on moutain and be there 2 day's whit out water of food... But I really don't know, nothing happens to parrot, so, I... don't now.... Sorry

I have to agree with what @briseis.

Birds are fragile, and if the wing is broken, you should get her to the vet ASAP. If you don't get it taken care of quickly, she may never be able to fly again.

Even if her wing is fine and the vet fixes it, she may not want to fly again after.
It may be traumatic for her.
If it doesn't effect her that way, if you live in a house it's best to clip your birds wings. It's safer for them that way.

Birds can fly out of the house and most don't come back, mainly because they get lost. There's a lot of dangers outside of the house, too.
That's a little off topic so back to the point.

Make sure she's eating and drinking. It's important that she stays hydrated.

thanks for the help guys 😸 but we went to a bird specialist and he said mango is going to be okay and doesn't need any help, she just need some rest 😸 she's much better now and can fly a little more then before 😃

he also said that she eats to little ._. but i don't get it, sometimes she even eats more then me o.o
