Hello, I'm new to this site, so I have a couple of questions:

1) How do you get text under your username? (I'm not sure what they call it on here. XD)
2) How do you subscribe to a topic?

Welcome to EC. I am a fellow user who appears and disappears at times.

1) That is called a status. Go to your profile, which is here and there would be a yellow box there with your profile creature, the Yamamagan.

2) In each heading of each topic, there is the heading, and then a small heart with a plus sign. Clicking that would subscribe you to that topic
