Original song.. how's it sounding?

I made the lyrics a few years ago, and I decided now to write some actual music to go along with it. But, all I've done so far is write arrangements, where I know what the melody sounds like, and I have to figure it out. But now, since this is an original, I have to think of the whole piece by myself.

So, how's it sounding? I'm just starting, so I really want to see if I should change things before I go on. 😋

Hey, that's pretty good! I think the piano matches the lyrics so far perfectly! I think throwing another instrument in the mix would make it better though. 😊

@whitescales Thanks! I'm thinking about adding a violin or cello after I get the main piano part done. Then, since I'll have the most basic harmonic part finished, it'll be easier to add in the more articulated harmonies.
