Singewhisker muttered to herself ignoring that Stormpaw was there. "Stupid cat." She muttered as she checked over Featherpelt's wounds. "She should'nt have even been on patrols lately."

Stormpaw's ear flicked at Singwhisker's words. "Huh? What do you mean? Is Featherpelt alright?" She asked, lifting her head to turn it towards the med cat.

Singewhisker looked up startled by the apprentice. "I'm not entirely if she's still alright. She knew three moons ago that she was'nt supposed to go out on patrols. But Stormstar told me to allow her to only go on simple border patrols for the next moons. Then she would take leave from her duites." The medcine cat hissed her fur bristling.

Stormpaw was frightened by Singewhisker's sudden bristling, and her ears laid back. "... Oh... Touchy... Touchy subject?" She mewed quietly.

"No." Singewhisker mewed quietly, "It's just that she should've moved to the nursery before this and now who knows what will happen to ehr kits. They could die when born or she could die before they are even born."
