Hello, Eggcave! I noticed that I need quite a bit of help in a lot of extra credit math problems in my class. I am trying to boost my grades up, so I need to do some extra credit. However, most of it is stuff that I haven't yet learned. So, I decided that I would do a math contest. The prize if 150k and 10 travels that I have (your choice).I will post the math problems in a second. First person to PM me with the answers wins! Please write out how you solved it đAlso, send each question when you get them done. Don't send all of the answers at once.1. What is the difference between the two largest prime factors of 159, 137?2. How many of the following are rational numbers?-25.6, 93/2, 3{square root}-5, 70, {square root}121, 33/2, {square root}1223. In how many distinct arrangements of the letters of the word APPLY does the A occupy the middle position?4. At a women's doubles tennis tournament, there were three teams of two women. @cat the highest prime factor of 159 i can find is 3 ( 3 cant be divided in to anything but it self and it goes in to 159 evenly) and prime factor for 137 is 137 it is a prime itself so 137-3=134
