I may have told a few of you about the arrival of my newest family member a few days ago, and just as promised, here are pictures of my lovely duckling: Paddle! ❤️

I'll be posting more pictures of him on my blog as he grows, and all will be tagged for sure with "The Adventures of Paddle" for easy searching~ 😉

He is, isn't he? ^^ I swear, he has got to be the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Not even kittens can compare! 😋

He is adorable. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I'd be holding him 24/7. Aha!

If I was able to hold him 24/7, I totally would. He's so warm and fluffy~ ❤️ But holding him every time I go outside to check on everyone will have to be good enough, hehe!

*died of a cuteness overload the minute eyes saw fluffy duckling* XD

I bought a fox pelt a couple of days ago to turn into a soft mount. (: It should arrive in the mail today~

Ohhh. Thought you might have meant a real pet fox, 'cuz they seem to be catching on recently. Was worried about the risks of keeping one near ducks.

That's interesting though. Explains your question in the blog about taxidermy c:
I've never heard of soft mount taxidermy before you mentioned it.

If I had the money, I'd get a live pet fox in a heartbeat. They're so neat, but sooooo expensive! But no worries about it ever getting my feathered lovelies; I'd make sure he/she'd be far away from them. (I've got a huge yard, since I'm out in the country~) ^^

Haha, yeah. (: Honestly, I'd never heard of soft mount taxidermy until about a year ago, when I ran into someone's pictures of theirs on Deviantart. Inspired me to do a bit of research and eventually attempt to make my own. (Took absolutely forever to find a decent mountable pelt in my price range, though)
