"Umm... Sure? Should we invite Violet?" My cat hasn't eaten in a while... Just let me go grab him and you can invite Violet along." She said to her new friend. She walked to her room and opened the door. She scooped up Piano in her arms and walked out and back over to Nina.

Nina nodded and walked to Violet's door, She knocked and waited for a response. She then saw Hannah coming back and stepped to the side so Hannah could have some room in front of Violet's door as well.

Hannah smiled and stroked Pianos soft fur.

Violet opened her door and smiled at Nina. "Hello." She said giving Hannah a friendly glance. "So what brings you two here? Cool cat by the way Hannah." She said feeling ultimately more comfortable with Hannah and Nina.

Shelly saw two people outside of a door, not wanting to disturb their conversation with the person inside the room, she went back inside her room. Primrose followed. Izzy was surprised and happy to her owner back so quickly and greeted them at the door. "Maybe they'll visit us." Shelly told Primrose. "It looks like we're too late to visit them."

Clive and Mariel Heraldi were still in the Food Court- alone for that matter, and were having a heated conversation about how seven equalled five. Mariel frowned as her brother had laughed to her about it, and had whipped out her phone and pulled out the notebook file where she had copied it from some math site.
"See?" She said triumphantly. "Seven equalls five, because of the two fractions cancel each other out!"
Clive raised an eyebrow, leaning across the table to better see. "Sister," he said. "I have no idea what that is- nor do I want to figure it out."
Mariel huffed, putting her phone back into her pocket. "I'm just trying to prove I'm right.." she muttered, but a smile escaped her facade, proving that she really wasn't frustrated. It took a lot, after all, to frustrate Mariel Heraldi, and Clive knew that from experience. Picking up a fry and drenching it in ketchup, he glanced around the large room.
"Aren't we popular," he stated, deadpan. "I'm starting to miss socializing with other humans."
Mariel leaned over the table and punched her brother, laughing.

Violet smiled. "Sure! Just let me get Sun. She's very hungry." She said walking back into her room momentairly. "WE're gonna get youu some food Sun." She said putting on Sun's leash. She then walked out the door with Sun trotting beside her.

Hannah smiled and pretended to play the piano key pattern on Piano's back. She stroked his soft white fur.

Nina grinned. She then started walking, slowly so her new friends could catch up. "I wonder how fancy the Food Court is," she said to Hannah and Violet. "If the NASA could own a space shuttle that can hold millions of people, it has to look nice."

Hannah walked affter Violet and Nina. She winced as she walked into the food court, which was more like a cafeteria. "I hope the foods good." She said her stomach growling. "I'll go get a spots and watch the pets while you guys go get the food. I'll get mine and Pianos when you guys get back." She said taking Sun's leash and setting Piano down on the floor. She then waited for Nina to hand Coco to her.

Violet nodded. 'It sure smells good...' She thought hungrily. She nodded at Hannah. "Sure. Sun be a good girl for Hannah." She said handing Sun's leash to Hannah.

Nina nodded and set Coco gently into Hannah's hands. She then went after Violet. She looked up at the menu, glued to the wall. 'I guess I could have a sandwich, and some seeds for Coco," she said to herself. She then got in line and waited patiently. It was her turn.
"I'll have a hot chicken sandwich," Nina said to the man at the cafeteria.
The man nodded and after a few seconds, he handed Nina the sandwich. Nina walked over to the cashier and handed her five dollars, the price the sandwich was. She grabbed a bottle of orange juice from the freezer. Nina then stood there, waiting for Violet.

Hannah walked over and sat on a bench, across from a girl, and boy and their dog. They seemed to be having a conversations about how seven equals five. She set Piano beside her and Coco in her lap as Sun lay at her feet.

Hannah looked at the menu. "I'll get some chicken strips and fries and dog food for sun." She said to herself. She walked over to the man. "I'll have a chicken strip meal and some dog food please." She said the man. "Any sauce?"

"Yes, sweet and sour sauce please."

"Here you go, have a nice day."

Violet then walked over to the Freezer and pulled out a can of iced tea. She hands 10 dollars to the cashier and went over to Nina.

After a while Primrose whined "I'm hungry!" "Let's go to the food court." Shelly said. "We could get some food for Izzy too. Maybe we could even get some food for Hammy." She opened up the door "Come on Izzy!" she called and did a short whistle. Primrose took Hammy out of his cage and cupped her hands for him to sit in. The three of them walked to the food court. "Primrose, go sit down at a table with Hammy and Izzy. I'll get some food. You want chicken fingers right?" Primrose nodded "Come on Izzy." she said and walked over to a table. Shelly walked over to the man. "Can I have two chicken fingers and a salad? Along with dog food and a bowl of sunflower seeds and some lettuce for my hamster?" "And sauce on the chicken or dressing on the salad?" the man asked "No thank you." Shelly said. The man handed her the food "Have a nice day." he told her "Thanks!" Shelly said and carried the food over to the table Primrose was sitting at. She noticed a table with some other kids at it. "Let's go sit with them and make friends." she told Primrose, nodding to the table. so they walked over to the table with their food. "Hi!" Shelly said cheerfully as she sat down "I'm Shelly!." Izzy stared at the dog laying under the table and laid down next to the table. Primrose sat down next to Shelly and put Hammy on a napkin on the table

Clive and Mariel froze in their conversation, glancing at the sudden arrival of other people. Clive, noticing they all were girls, grinned, while Mariel smiled warmly for the same reason. Perhaps they could be friends. Or in Clive's case, more than that.
"Hullo," Clive said. "I'm Clive Heraldi-"
"And I'm Mariel Heraldi. We're twins." Mariel finished.
They grinned at each other, then at the others. Being without other people to talk to besides their own sibling had taken its toll- they were now more than eager for different company.
"And this is Ghost." Clive said, hoisting the large and wiry white dog from under the table so that she was staring at the others with wise black orbs. "Pleased to meet you."
Mariel pushed a lock of golden hair away from her face as Clive pushed his brown ones back. It was their "let's get down to business" gesture that they both shared.
"So," Mariel said, "tell us about it."
"By 'it'," Clive intoned, "she means you, your life, your room, and let's have a conversation about the apocalypse."
Mariel laughed, throwing her head back. "No, I really do want to know about these people. I mean, we'll be stuck with these people on a whole new planet- I want to be able to know who I can stick to so that I don't get destroyed." Mariel raised an eyebrow at the table and grinned, showing she was kidding. Kind of.

Primrose immediately cried out in horror "She was just kidding Primrose." Shelly said quickly, hoping that there really wouldn't be a chance of getting destroyed. For the first time she began to think about the dangers o the planet. She looked at Primrose, and could tell that she wasn't thinking the same thing at all since Shelly had said that Mariel had been kidding.

Nina sat down at the table that Hannah had sat in. She set her sandwich and orange juice down, then let Coco crawl onto her hand and onto the side of the table that Nina was on. She then immediately saw Clive, Mariel, Primrose, and Shelly. She nudged Violet with her elbow. "Hopefully those people don't come over. I would not like to be crowded, nor I feel like i'm in the mood for talking to other people but you and Hannah," she said quietly to Violet.

Clive appraised the table, concerned. "Mariel," he said softly, "I think you might've scared them." Mariel looked genuinely surprised, and quickly apologized, both twins leaning over the table. "Oh my gosh," Mariel reprimanded herself. "What a sensitive topic. I'm so, so sorry. Stupid me."
Clive, remembering his kindness that put Mariel's lightness to shame, gentlemanly pressed his hand on top of Shelly's, who looked deep in thought.
"We'll be fine." He said firmly, and hopefully, convincingly.

"Of course we will." Primrose chirped, looking at Clive. Shelly gave a a little nod. "I know." she said. "It's okay. It's just that-" "I didn't want to be destroyed." Primrose interrupted. Shelly nodded "Yes." she said Shelly felt Clive's hand on top of her's. "If their not worried I won't be either." she thought

"Darling," Mariel said, "nobody wants to be destroyed."
"You and your jokes!" Clive said, waggling a playful finger at Mariel. "Learn to control yourself!"
Mariel chuckled, smiling at her brother. "Well, how about we stick together then, you know, so that there's less chance of being destr- sorry- of anything happening."
Mariel smiled across the table, easily picturing herself friends with these girls. Clive was happy being friends with anyone.

Shelly smiled at the twins. She was happy to find some friends. She glanced at Primrose, who looked a little worried. "Let's." she said. Then wanting to change the subject, she said "We have dog too. Her name is Izzy." At the sound of her name, the Border Collie sat up and looked at her owners and the twins. "And I have a hamster." Primrose said, picking Hammy up in one hand and holding him out towards the twins.

Mariel cooed, picking up the hamster with gentle hands. "Aww, what an adorable ball of fur!"
Clive lightly scratched the hamster's head. "He's a cute guy." He acknowledged. "Hey!" He said, "Izzy should meet Ghost!" He snapped his fingers under the table, and Ghost politely padded out. "Ghost," he said, pointing at the dog in question, "meet Izzy." He pointed at the other dog. Ghost seemed to raise and amused brow at Clive, but moved towards Izzy anyways.

Izzy looked at Ghost and wagged her tail. She had always liked the presence of other dogs. Primrose smiled and watched the twins and her hamster. Shelly reached out and rubbed the top of Ghost's head. Izzy looked up at her owner and Shelly started petting her with her other hand. Primrose looked towards the dogs. "Is Ghost a Greyhound?" she asked the twins "I have a book about dogs that I share with Shelly, and Ghost looks like a Greyhound, Izzy's a Border Collie. They used to herd sheep. Herding is when they keep the sheep in a group and make them go where they want them to go."

"Wow, you know your dogs." Clive praised, "Ghost is, in fact, a Greyhound."
Mariel smiled. "Yeah, one of those racing dogs. She is quite fast."
"Vroom vroom!" Clive said, miming turning the motor on a motorcycle. "It's a good thing she loves me so much or else-"
Mariel punched her brother.
"I mean us. She loves us." Clive corrected, grinning at Mariel, who promptly rolled her eyes.
"But," Mariel said, "Border Collies are just so FURRY!" She emphasized her point by buring her fingers in Izzy's fur, scratching underneath the fluff.

Nina swallowed her sandwich slowly, every once in a while looking at the four other people. She set her sandwich down on the table and watched Coco chew on her very own seeds. She grabbed her orange juice and sipped a mouthful of it. She set it down and grabbed her water bottle, letting the water drizzle into Coco's mouth. Nina smiled and watched Coco for a while. How delicate, agile and elegant Coco looked.

Mariel laughed. "Ah, well Ghost's fur makes it all the easier to groom." She watched as Ghost and Izzy got aquainted with each other as they sweetly played together.
Feeling a gaze on him, Clive turned to spot a girl eating a sandwich. Waving her over and grinning, he said, "Hey, want to join us?"

Nina blinked, and stood still for a while. "W-who me?" she then got up, beckoning Violet and Hannah to come as well. She grabbed Coco, and finished eating her sandwich and carried her juice over.
"So..." she said kind of awkwardly. She looked at Violet and Hannah and stroked Coco's fur. "What ya guys doing?"

"Don't be shy, since we would've all died," Clive said, "there's nothing to hide. Hey! That rhymed!"
Mariel grimaced. "Not a good way to start a conversation, Clive." She reprimanded. Clive threw his hands in the air.
"My poetry is excellent." He said, "And I intend to defend it."
"Not when it's about dying!" Mariel laughed, "I mean-"
"Err, so welcome to the table. I'm Clive and she's Mariel and we're both twins." He smiled, pinching Mariel lightly. "And you are?"

Nina blinked at Clive's rhyme or joke.
"My name is Nina," Nina said more confidently, "Nina Sylbert."
When Coco got stroked by Primrose, Coco sniffed Primrose's hand and squeaked.
"It's nice to meet you Clive and Mariel," Nina said polietly. At least I have more friends like I wanted to, Nina thought.

"And I'm Shelly. This is my sister, Primrose." Shelly told Nina with a smile. Primrose was giving Clyde a disgusted look, as she had never liked anything about death. Primrose averted her attention to Nina when she heard Shelly introduce her.
