Mysterious Asteroid Creature Suggestion - Splice

The Splice, I am hoping, will have 4 stages.

Description:

In its first stage, the Splice is often confused with a Pareteorsite. When it grows up, however, the two creatures can't possibly be mistaken.

Each of its heads has a completely different outlook on life. The head on the left (when looking at it) is the pessimistic, depressed side of the creature. The other head is the playful, optimistic side.

Each head has its own brain, and therefore thinks for itself. The two heads really wish they could separate sometimes.
