Well, I was going to start writing a book. I have been told repeatedly that I am an amazing writer, and I have had many story ideas pass through my mind. I am an active reader, and I am constantly getting more ideas. So, I decided to write a book. Or maybe a series. Actually, I've tried that a few times, but never has an idea stayed with me this long. But before I even get that far, I need to know how to start it off. So I have a few questions for any authors who might have an account on EggCave.1. Do I need to put the copyright and date of publishing and all that stuff, or will my publishing company do that for me?2. Do I need to start off with a title page, or can I just skip to the prologue?3. Does it have to be dedicated to anybody? I don't think anybody would want anything this gory and dark dedicated to them.4. Is there a specific font I should use?5. What's a good publishing company to use?6. This is the most important: will anybody take a 12 year old like me seriously? 'Cause I kinda need to have somebody take me seriously in order to publish a book. Thanks a bunch!~Umberisk

@whitefireI've never published a book, so I probably wouldn't be too helpful in answering your questions. 😋However, when I wrote a novel last year, I didn't worry about the format or publishing. I simply put the title at the top of the page and began writing. 😊I'd recommend focusing on writing the book before getting it ready for publishing. If you just love how Curlz MT looks, go ahead and write it in that font! You can always change it later. That being said, it's always good to know what you'll need to get your book published so you have the information stored in mind for the future.Best of luck! 😊
