This topic is about your pets. Not the Egg Cave kind. The real kind. Whether they be furry, scaly, or whatever else.

Feel free to post anything pet related, whether it be what pets you have, looking into getting one, pictures or stories.

I'll admit, I made this topic because I love to talk about mine. They're my luffs.

❤️ My own lovelies ❤️

Currently, I have three horses that are officially mine, that I compete on and ride mainly. And several other horses used for bringing people on trail rides, ect. More so used for job, ect. But I love them all!

Several dogs. Not all are completely mine though, as I tend to take in dogs that don't have anywhere else to go. And I try to re-home as many as I can. ^^

Three cats.

One lovely snake. (getting another soon!)

@april__ I have a two year old labradoodle (chocolate lab x white poodle) that's two years old and three colors in each eye and a 14 year old orange and white tabby cat with green eyes. I've known my cat ever since I came home from the hospital afetr being born, so we've we've bonded and become very close.

Awe. That's sweet.

One of my cat's I've had since Kindergarten. He's about 15 now. It's funny. He was named Sassy, cause we all thought he was a girl. And I named him after a character in Homeward Bound.

Buuut, took him to the vet and they sent him back with a note, saying 'Congrats, it's a boy!'

I'd like my ears very much mustard free, aha!

And awesome!

I have one snake, her name is Buffy. Go figure.

I'm going to be getting another soon! What type are yours if you don't mind me asking?

Deleted • 6 June 2013 at 8:14 PM

@april__ L O L It's like when you first got him, "here sassy! here girl! After the vet, "Here sassy! Here boy!

He's soooooo fluffy. My dog sleeps with me every night and snuggles with me. One night I found my cat fast asleep, under my blanket in front of me, with his head on my pillow at around seven in the morning xD Which was odd considering the fact he's a nocturnal kitty.

@dramatic

Sassy has these huge paws. We joke he's part rabbit/lion.

Awe, I always have at least one of my dogs sleeping with me. I have one that's particularly more cling ythan the others though. She howls if I step outside for one second. XD

I'll never get how people argue about cats or dogs being better. Why can't we just love both? DX

@fjhfjh

Aha, that could take awhile. I have horses, dogs, cats, snake, more fish than one can count. O_O Oh, and possibly getting a goat. XD

Deleted • 6 June 2013 at 8:30 PM

@april__ My dog is clingy xD Lol! WE call my cat the tiger. He likes to stalk the following: us, string, visitors and anything that moves. He's a little stalker. He likes to be outside xD MY dog is optimistic whereas my cat is all like "crap life." xDDD You have how many pets?? O.O

I do live on a farm. >_>

I have a lot of cats, but only three are really indoor ones. The other ones have just kind of made themselves at home. XD

I actually have to bring my one dog to work with me, cause she's a brat. XD But, I love her.

Deleted • 6 June 2013 at 8:41 PM

@april__ oh. that makes more sense xD That is alot of cats. I'll bet your dogs adorable though .3.

@dramatic

They all are in their own goofy way. ❤️

My one dog, she always lets me know when the water's empty. (I do check frequently, but with so many dogs coming in and out of my house... XD)

She'll jump in my bath tub, sit there, and stare at me. I don't know if she notices water comes out of there. But she will do that until I fill the dish. Just, sits there, patiently. Then I go and fill the water and she gets all excited. XD

Deleted • 6 June 2013 at 8:48 PM

@april__ I agree ❤️

LOL. My cat, before we moved, when he was bored, he would go downstairs and sit in the bathtub. Then i'd be all like, "Jake i'll turn it on if you want." then, he'd know what I meant, jump out and run off. He also somehow got on this ledge that was a foot away from the ceiling and had a muscle spasm the night before we moved. Then we had to sedate him after school the next day and drive for two hours XP He behaved so well. my dad carried him upstairs and put him on my bed.He tried to walk up to my head but fell and styed there for the night.

I've got a strange little bunch of pets at my house. 😊

2 cats - Dixon and Kiwi.
I adopted Dixon from a shelter, and I'm glad I did. He was found at a fairground as a tiny kitten, next to his dead mother. At the shelter, he was so shy and scared that he was always overlooked and nobody wanted him.
Kiwi was technically the neighbor's cat, but they had a whole bunch and neglected all of them. My family took her in.

Kiwi: http://fav.me/d4up5vd

3 marimo moss balls - Unnamed.
Read about them online with a friend of mine, and we decided to buy some. They're pretty neat little things.

1 betta fish - Bruce.
There were 4 bettas at the store, and the fish I picked was the most active. He was a very angry soul and kept trying to kill my hand through the little cup he was in. Because of that, I named him after Bruce Banner, who turns into the Hulk when he's angry~ 😉

3 ducks - Ping, Pong and Paddle.
I've had Pong for 7 years, Ping (the 3rd) for 3 years, and their son Paddle just hatched last month. Pong thinks he's a dog, Ping is a gigantic quacking duckzilla, and Paddle is a very loud baby peeper who's just starting to get real feathers.

I have a male 10-year-old Maine coon named Cooney, and 3 Leopard geckos; a Normal morph female Safiya, a Mack Snow morph female Khepri and a SHTCTB morph female Solana. ^^ I love my animals more than anything else. ❤️

I'm hopefully getting a fourth leo during the upcoming 2 years and when I move into my own apartment, I'm planning to get a Tokay gecko and a Blue-Tongued skink. 😸

I had a lot of pets, and currently only have one pet.
My pets were:
* Two Horses in my [grandparents ancestral] Farmhouse Villa. {in 2011, they were soon ambushed by two wild panthers [or one- but I remember my uncle telling two] (I did not even know that the secluded parts of our forests provided shelter to wild animals)}
The first one was a Black Stallion, named Black Beauty [from the book, and the other had a brownish complexion, and we named him Ginger] Both were male
* Three Parrots in 2009: Derek, Draik and Drake. They had identification marks, black spot, fat-ness]
Draik flew away one day, or was he eaten by eagles? Our relatives took Drake away and Derek died all of a sudden a day ;-;
* Several fish [14-15]in a large fish tank; Guppy, Tiger barb, discus fish, catfish, goldfish etc. Some died due to increase of fish food which generated ammonia which proved harmful for the fish. The remaining died when the oxygen filter of the fish tank failed to function.
* Several Dogs.
- three German Shepherds; Juno, Renji, Kenji. Juno died. Kenji ran away and Renji is currently with my paternal uncles.
- two Pugs; Casper and Gunnu. We gave away Casper and Gunnu was gifted to a family friend.
- one St. Bernard; the very big types, named Bruno. It is still with us. Its weighing a lot. Very big, is aggressive but it does not bite friendly faces. It jumps on us when we ignore it [its a bit painful]
* One cat. We adopted it when we were at our farmhouse. It was a stray cat, but we domesticated it. We named it Chapus. Once, it broke into the cow shed and drank all the milk stored in the bucket. It ran away itself sensing danger, but we were not going to do anything to it.
- We were almost gonna get a bunny, but we had an unexpected shift of residence and we lost track of it.
[To say, we had a lot of farm animals on our farmhouse such as geese, sheep, ducks, chickens, goats, cows] We have more horses in our horse stable [renovated this year, this month]. We bought a couple of horses [my uncle when I was not there] and still I have to name them.

My cat is a lover. She will follow you around until you pet her. Used to scare the crap out of my dog, though. He used to be scared of cats. The cat's name is Oakstreet, 'cause that's where we found her. On Oak Street. We don't know how old she is. She's a small cat with black fur and a white undercoat. She lost half of her tail at some point in her life, so I think she might have been abused before she was abandoned. Either that or she was abused on the streets. But you wouldn't believe that we found her on the street, the way she loves on everybody.

Our dog's name is Chance, because I thought he looked a bit like the Chance from Homeward bound. But really he doesn't. :/ He has ALMOST the same colouring, but that's about it. He also HATES water. Hates it. He was shot with a BB gun shortly before we got him, and was hit by a car a year later, which broke that same leg. But he can walk, so I'm glad of that.

I also have two chinchilas. They hate me. They are both girls, and their names are Cindy and Jasmine. Jasmine has a nasty temper, and is ALWAYS trying to escape the little play area we set up when we let them out of the cage. She is the fastest eater, and she could eat four treats in the time it takes Cindy to eat one. Well, not much else to say about them...

Awe, poor doggy! & Kitty.

I had one dog, his name was Dillon. He was shot and had to have his leg amputated. It did NOT slow him down though. He was still catching rabbits, rats and snakes. O_o

He was shot a second time. And then later run over cause he was sleeping under the tire of my dad's car. He wasn'ts upposed to make it but he made it another few years!

He was lovely. ❤️

@frosted

I ❤️ them. They're a lovely breed.

Oh, poor doggy! He must have some pretty strong will power. My dog wasn't supposed to survive either when he was hit, but he did anyway! Animals are stronger than we give them credit for.

They really are!

I had another dog, named Daisy. She was a Shelti, (so adorable!) She would pee every time you said the word bath. It didn't matter how it was said or anything. She did. O_o

So we couldn't even say bathroom.

We started spelling out the word bath and eventuall yshe caught on to that. Aha. XP

@April__

I have had way to may pets too list them all.
Mostly cause i cant reject a pet that needs a home or is sickly.
I've had nearly every kind of pet you can own where I live.

I currently have:
- 3 Dogs:
Grizzly - Female. I got her from a friend about 6 years ago. She acts like a beauty queen but still loves playing in filth. She is bad tempered though so I cant bring her around everyone, one minute she loves you then the next she doesnt want you near her.

Sloth - Grizzly's son. I've had him about 4 years now. He is not very attractive or bright but he is very sweet. He was born in my lap on my way to the bus stop one school morning.

Nothing - Male. I've had him for 2 years now, I raised him from a bottle from when he was about a week old. He is sweet and loving to me and like two other people, but then crazy, hyper and even aggressive to nearly everyone else.

- 7 Cats:
Frankie - Female. Not sure how old she is but I've had her for about 7 years. Our neighbor had to move and they could not catch her. Over the years she has started to let me pet her and even pick her up some times!

Summer - Female. She is 5 years old but I've had her for about 3 years. I adopted her from some people at a store and I gave her to my great aunt whom she lived with for about 2 years then I took her back when my aunt had to go to a nursing home.

Rabbit - Summer's son. I've had him about 4 years. He is very shy around strangers, but once he gets used to someone though he will roll at their feet and gently bite them when petted.

Brrr - Male. Have had him for 3 years. He was given to me by my other aunt. He is loves to get attention.

Itty Bitty Kitty (IBK) - Male. Got him 3 years ago. He was skin and bones when i got him, so tiny he fit in the palm of you hand. Now, he is the fattest cat I have probably ever owned. He is really lazy and loves to get attention but is to lazy to go to you to get it.

Rio - Female. I've had her for 2 years. She looks angery a lot and is very vocal. She likes to be petted sometimes but mostly keeps to herself.

Lex - Rio's Sister. I got her a few months ago. I took care of her for her owners for awhile and now every time they take her back she comes back to my house, they soon gave up and gave her to me. She is pretty friendly and follows me a lot.

1 Rabbit:
Troll - Male. He likes to terrorize the cats and dogs, make tons of noise, and scrape his teeth on you.

I can send picture links if you want to actually see them.
