Notification time between unhappy and dead creature

Is the time between this notification:

"Your creature is very unhappy! Feed your creature right away so it doesn't die. 12:00 am"

and this notification:

"Your creature has died of hunger! 3:00 am"

always so close? I'd like to know before I spend 250 CC to revive it.

Although this did happen very quickly, it is not a bug. I am very sorry to hear about this.
