Beginner's Guide for New Users

If you're new to Eggcave or need some pointers, here, I'll review over everything.

Daily Activites: (Resets at 12AM Eastern Time)

The Cave: A place where you can adopt up to 10 creatures per day

The Mysterious Asteroid : Somewhat like The Cave, only there is a very low chance of getting a creature every day.

Site Trivia: Answer Eggcave Triva, you share a jackpot of 125,000 EC with other players that got it right. Not allowed to ask what the answers are.

Alkub Racing: Choosing one of five creatures to see which one wins every day, win 10,000 EC, but you must put down 1,000 to make a bid.

Interest: When you store EC into the strongroom, you can gain EC back. It takes 7% of the EC stored and gives it back to you, this is called interest.

Forums: (Place where Eggcavers talk and chat)

Respond to other people: Use the bell icon below their name to know that you have responded. Editing in a ping (what the bell icon is called) will not notify a user.

Creature Trading: Place where you can sell, trade, and buy creatures and travels, they may also be auctions from time to time.

General Discussion: Usually has creature feedbacks and contests. Great place to keep your creatures alive, and earn some prizes.

ETC (Everything else)

Travels: They are a one time use item. If you remove them, they will NOT appear in inventory. They are gone forever.

Strongroom: Place to store your EC for save keeping

Invetory: A place where bought travels can go

Travel Storage: Stores travels for later use

Trade Center: Place to give creatures away, or trade creatures.

Travel Agency: Buy travels from here, updates every 1-5 minutes with new travels

ETC (Continued)

Donation Center: Where unwanted travels usually go, free to anyone.

Adoption Center: Abandoned creatures that need a home, free to anyone. You can abandon a creature, but you have to pay a fee of 4,500 EC. You can only abandon three creatures per day.
Creatures:

Views: How many times somebody sees your creature. Best way to make get it a lot of views is to make it your featured creature!

Clicks: How many people click your creature. Clicks are rather tricky, since you can only get one click per IP address.

Feeds: How many times someone feeds your creature.

Immortal: Creatures that cannot die when their happiness reaches 0. Creatures become immortal when their level is 2000 and above.

Begging for feeds, clicks, and views: If you do, this is against the site rules. Feedbacks are okay, but not begging. You may not use the TC to beg either.

Hatching creatures: You can see how views, clicks or feeds a creature needs by going to the Archives. Go to the General Discussion and post in some of the feeding topics, or you can use

Some creatures evolve from gaining the unique number of views, clicks, or feeds. To check how many your creature needs and which of them, check the Archives.

Cave monthlies: Two creatures are released in The Cave every month, and are retired (Cannot be obtained) after the month is over.

Cash Shop: Can obtain creatures that you can get from the Cash Shop. You can also freeze, star, and change the gender of any creature. You need Cave Cash 💵 and Cave Cash is actual money.

Accounts:

You may only have 1 main account and 3 side accounts.
You have to register with a new email if you wish to make a side account. There's no way around it.

Up to 300 creatures PER COVE.

When people comment on your wall, press their profile link to their cove, and comment on their wall post. Then they'll know that you saw the post, and that you responded to what they said.

That's awesome!

Did you put much about creatures?

I always see people asking how they hatch, and the difference between views/clicks and ect.

Also that you can have 300 per account, and only 4 accounts with one main. (You can only do stuff on your main)

And perhaps about the cave monthlies?

Maybe something about not begging/pestering people to trade creatures? (Especially if something is listed as not for trade)

THE REMOVING TRAVELS

If you remove travels, they don't appear in your inventory. They are a one use type of thing.
