@ems@littlepuffyball@tikimaki@dramatic@featherstar_stormclan--Nathaniel shrugged off the girl's anger, figuring it was only natural for her to do the same as he did to her. As he continued to run with her through the jungle, various branches, leaves, bugs, and other spiny things slapped him in the face, making it very hard to concentrate or see. "This thing is going to burn the whole jungle down!" He yelled out, hoping the girl could hear him over the sound of crackling flames at their quick pace.He could see a small opening in the jungle to his right as he was running. Figuring his breath and stamina would soon leave him, he decided to go with it. "Go right!" He yelled out again in a commanding tone, veering off sharply to the right.He headed straight for the opening and pushed through the last of the plants. He held his arm above his head to shield the bright light that pierced his vision, focusing his eyes back on his surroundings. When he looked around, he saw they were in a clearing in the middle of the jungle and a small stream of water was running downhill to his left. He desperately wanted to take a drink, but knew that this probably wasn't the best of times. He turned his head back towards the jungle foliage behind him, waiting for the girl to hopefully emerge.

@kurochi-akuma@littlepuffyball@featherstar_stormclan@dramatic@tikimaki--Storm stumbled out of the forest, and right behind was the dragon, smoothly picking her up and tossing her onto her head. "Listen!" She roared, almost literally shaking the ground."My world is tearing apart! You should have had odd dreams, am I right?" She snarled. Storm shook like a leaf. One wrong move and she'd fall to her death. "Uh... Uh... That's right..." She called back with a quavering voice."Exactly! Now I'm not going to eat you. So cool your jets and think before you do." Shadow snarled, and lowered her head to the ground, roughly nudging Storm onto the grass. The girl promptly fell face-first after her shaking legs gave way. "Ow." She whimpered. Four times in one morning... Storm was beginning to hate gravity.

@ems@littlepuffyball@hedwig68@whitescales@tikimaki--Nathaniel held out his hand to help the girl to her feet, looking up at the dragon. "So, what ARE you going to do?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in question.He tried to remember the dream he had at the hospital, but due to recent events it seems any memories he had, after he woke up from it, completely vanished. The only thing he could recall was the fairy telling him to help with something and that he was chosen. "Chosen, eh?" He thought, shaking his head, "This is so crazy..."He only hoped this dragon could fill him in on the rest of his missing memories...

"I'm here because that--" She nodded in Storm's direction as the girl accepted the hand gratefully. "--is my rider. Chosen for me, if you will. If I'd had my way, I would've stayed home rather than attempt to work with you imbeciles. Speaking of which, boy, your dragon should be able to find you soon. Until then, I suppose we can try to converse like civilized beings." Storm sat only seconds after standing, mumbling a tired thanks to the boy. "Alright. Makes sense. Not really, but if I'm insane, I might as well go with it." She sighed in return."Yeah, crazy. Weird fairy comes to tell you that her world is dying and you have to save it. I wouldn't like it either." Shadow replied hastily.

@ems @littlepuffyball@hedwig68@dramatic@featherstar_stormclan--"What are riders?" He asked, mildly intrigued by what she had to say. His heart slightly skipped a beat when she mentioned that he, too, would have a dragon. If that were true, why hasn't it shown itself yet? Was it the one who dragged him into this world? More questions filled his mind than he had answers for and his stomach began to hurt thinking about it.Still listening to what the dragon had to say, he went to edge of the stream, cupped his hands and brought the fresh water to his lips. It felt good to feel it run down his throat, seeming to cool down his internal organs as it went down and settle into his stomach.

@kurochi-akuma gtg. ;3 I can't ping the others right now.--Shadow sighed. "Partners in crime, so to speak." She blew a puff of fire into the air, watching it burn out in seconds with nothing to eat. "Hmm."Storm watched the dragon curiously, realizing that the creature didn't really appear to be threatening. It's ears was soft and furry, and the end of her tail ended in a similar puff of fur. "Well... I might as well go with it at this point." She mumbled, rolling onto her back and staring at the tufts of white fluff roll through the clear blue sky. Clouds, they were. How Storm would love to live on one, if it were possible. Her childhood fantasy dreams all drifted back slowly, and Storm smiled lazily. This was all of her hopes and dreams as a child, right in front of her. But now that it seemed to be reality... She was scared.And that's when Storm realized that life wasn't a fantasy novel. She wouldn't want to be charging into battle atop a dragon, sword in hand, no matter what she thought at any given time. That was scary. Adventure was scary. Adventure was meant to stay in Storm's books. But adventure was amazing. She could see and do so many things...So wasn't it worh it?

I'm not sure I understand."Were the riders, him and this girl, being summoned by these dragons to fight for the bad side? Speaking of which, were there more riders out there other than him and this girl? He had to wonder...The dragon wasn't making any of his questions go away, which really started to push his buttons. Despite this, he was starting to feel more comfortable in the place he was currently in and could feel his body relaxing.--Meanwhile, somewhere in the distance, there was a rush of wind through the trees.A huge black dragon flew through the trees, passing over a brown-haired boy running through the jungle and over the small stream running downhill. It turned it's coarse and headed uphill, passing over a long, blonde haired girl and a small dragon on its way.From what both of them could see, it dove straight into some trees a little ways up and disappeared behind the vast leaves. --The beast landed in the stream with a splash and grabbed Nathaniel by his stomach in its huge mouth. It's extremely long body curled around itself. Sections of its body appeared to be floating in mid air due to the size comparison of its body to its small four feet. It appeared to be much larger than the other dragon next to the girl. It's eyes narrowed towards the other dragon in warning.Nathaniel's eyes were wide with fear and his body trembled, seeing how high he was from the ground. Was this dragon going to eat him? His mind screamed for him to do something, but he couldn't move his limbs the way he wanted them to go.

I'm a little confused here.@littlepuffyball@tikimaki@whitescales@hedwig68Hey guys start posting!--Storm's head whipped around, but Shadow was barely surprised. "Come now Alcatraz, I've scared them stiff enough already." The dragon said slyly, a crafty grin appearing on her lips. "Besides, you don't want to make a bad impression. I already made that mistake." She picked up Storm again, making sure the frightened girl wouldn't run off. Storm squeaked and struggled. "Oh come on child. And by "partners in crime" I meant literally "partners." We have to work together."

@ems Sorry, I was at camp all day, electronics weren't allowed.@kurochi-akuma@tikimaki@littlepuffyball@whitescalesSirius, of course, was still nervous being anywhere near the dragon, Bellum was her name. She was still glaring at him, inspecting him very closely and he thought that if he made any sudden movement she'd eat him. He finally got the courage to say, "So, what do you mean by help me?" He asked quietly, looking up at the dragon, curiosity now covering his face.The dragon let out a puff of slight annoyance, "You humans have so many questions, to many." She added, and then she said slowly, "I'm gonna speak slowly so that you can comprehend this, okay? The fairy in your dream should have mentioned all of this but anyways, our world needs saving, and that's something only the Riders can help us with." She silenced Sirius with a glare as he attempted to ask a question, "The Riders are humans that have dragons as partners. We dragons help you, we are partners, we must work together to help save this world. You have been called here because you are a Rider, and I am your dragon." She said, tilting her head up proudly.As Bellum had told Sirius a summary of what was happening, Sirius' eyes widened until he looked like an owl. "Really? That whole dream, with the fairy and everything had been real, it was too much to take in and he sat down, thinking everything over in his mind. He had barely begun to think when Bellum said, "We must go, we need to meet the other Riders." She said and Sirius slowly got to his feet and walked to her. She pushed him up onto her back and he clinged to a spike with all his might. Bellum then flapped her wings and they were off, soaring through the sky. Sirius couldn't help but let out a yell of wonder and amazement.

@kurochi-akuma @hedwig68 @ems--Serafina sat pondering what was happening. Why was she here? And what was that thing that flew past so fast? Getting up to her feet she turned to the dragon. "My name is Serafina. I don't know how I got here but if you need help then fine. How do we start?"Flair looked relieved. "Well for starters, my name is Flair. I'm your dragon and you are my rider. Fate has put us together to save this world. I have much to tell you but first let's find the others.""Others?" She asked. "Oh of course. We can't save this world all by ourselves now could we?"Leading her through the trees she quickly saw a burned clearing. Likely another dragon had been here. And a human judging by the footprints. Two sets of footprints actually. Now to follow them...

@ems@littlepuffyball@hedwig68@tikimaki@whitescales--The black dragon, formally called Alcatraz, continued to stare at Shadow with Nathaniel hanging from his mouth. He gently lowered his head to about four feet above the ground and opened his mouth. Nathaniel dropped into the one foot deep stream with a splash, taking a moment to let the blood run out of his head. "Ugh..." He coughed, sitting up in the stream. His black uniform from work was now soaked through completely; not that he minded too much. The water was very cooling to his hot and sweaty skin, although he would've preferred not to have been dropped into it.Alcatraz lifted his head back up to look at Shadow and then down at the girl next to her. "It seems you have a rider as well, Shadow." He noted, his voice deep and calm, "Mine disappeared when he entered through the portal and I had to go looking for him. Sorry for my absence. I assume you were able to talk with them a little bit before my presence?"

@kurochi-akuma@littlepuffyball@ems@tikimaki@whitescalesSirius was still letting out yells off joy, the excitement of flying great. He heard Bellum mutter something like, "You're gonna make me go deaf." But he ignored it, holding tight to one of her neck spikes the whole time. He finally watched as she descended near a couple other dragons and people, both tiny from how high Sirius and Bellum were.As they landed Bellum told him, "The dragons are Shadow and Alcatraz, I have never met them, only heard of them before. The two humans are their riders, now go introduce yourself." She murmured in a pushy manner, though Sirius was still clinging to her spike, not quite sure how to get down with out impaling himself or falling flat on his face. Bellum just shook her head and picked Sirius up in her mouth by his shirt. She then carried him over to the others, he was wiggling in her grasp, thinking he was much to close to her teeth to be comfortable. Bellum tossed him on the ground in front of her as she reached the others, causing him to land on his butt quite hard. He still seemed a bit dazed from being so close to such large teeth. He'd always though that his family's dog's teeth were big. Bear, their lab, had some big teeth, but they were absolutely nothing compared to Bellum's huge teeth.

Her deep green eyes bore into Storm curiously, the moment ending as the dragon's ears perked at a soft sound. She laughed as she watched another boy land right on his bottom. "Hello there." Her tail shoved Storm right in front of her, much to the girl's irritation.

"So there is more of us apparently." He thought, looking over at the girl who looked mildly irritated by the whole situation. "Hey, girl, what's your name?" He realized how blunt that probably sounded, but he couldn't stand constantly calling her 'the girl' both in and out of thought. They all were probably going to be here awhile anyways, so minus well start the introductions.Alcatraz looked over at the new pair who joined them and asked the dragon, "Did you happen to see anyone else nearby with a rider, Bellum?"

Kire inquired cocking his head slightly as Leigha shifted her weight to her other foot. "You could sit you know, you don't have to stand."Leigha crossed her arms and looked up at Kire's towering figure. "Well you're standing, aren't you?""But I'm excited! You're my human after all!" He said with a look that said he was doing all he could to not squish her into another big hug. Leigha dropped her arms and tilted her head upwards to see him clearly again. "Are all dragons like you? I thought you'd be more..." She let the sentence drop wondering what words would be wise to use with a being that was so much larger than her."Mean? Ferocious? Blood thirsty or angry? I'm not and most dragons aren't how you humans thought we were in legends. I don't steal princesses, eat humans or burn cities because I feel like it. I'm-""A whole lot more civilized than most of the people I know." Leigha interrupted finally sitting down on the ground. "So there's a reason we're here together, it's not just chance?" She said raising an eyebrow questioningly. "Yeah and we're not alone either; there are more humans are coming from your world to meet with their destined dragons here." Kire sat but couldn't stop twitching his tail eagerly.Leigha perked up at that, "More? So how many pairs are there?" She wondered out loud."We could go meet some if you want, the fire in that direction smells familiar, so Shadow is probably causing trouble again. We should probably get moving and see what she's up to." Kire stood and gathered Leigha's sack up in his claws. "You ready? It's not that far." He said."Promise she won't eat me either?" Leigha asked, reluctant to walk right into a flaming jungle. "Or burn me?" She added.Kire laughed and patted her shoulder lightly with his hand. "No way, we have to work together remember. All of us." With a reassuring smile he led the way into the burning jungle, Leigha close at his heels.
