Blocking

Just wondering if this is a reason to block me:

I sent this user a message about a not for trade pet saying if you ever do decide to trade it would you please let me know.

So then i went to feed all of its creatures and then comment saying i fed them. And "this user has blocked you" pops up

I would just like to know what i did wrong.
And is everyone on eggcave like this?

it's a little extreme, and no, not everybody's like that

but some users put on their profiles that if you ask if any of their creatures are UFT, they'll block you...so that could be the reason.

@hybridrainbow i read their whole profile before i sent the message because i never want anyone to get mad at me. And i didnt see anything ☹️

It says on my profile, numerous times, that none of my creatures' names are UFT. And I know that you already know this because you began your message to me with "I know your profile says...". So I am confused as to why you are telling other users that I blocked you for no reason when there clearly was a reason. I don't really appreciate that, you know?

I can see that you are quite new to Egg Cave, so you are probably not as attached to your creatures as I am to mine. I've had the name Bella for over 2 years and the name belongs to one of my creatures. I might just sound like a crazy person for being so protective of my names, but it's just the way I am.

I'm sorry if I upset you, it was not my intention. Its just that I've been playing this game for a long time now and I get dozens of PMs every week about names that are not UFT or creatures that are not UFT. I am very protective of my Cove because I've worked so hard on it.

Typically once or twice a month I block someone for a few hours for ignoring my profile text...it's almost always a "newbie". I hope you don't feel too bad about it or think I am a rude person for doing this. Trust me, I'm not one of the bad guys here. 😊 I'm just protective of my creatures. The longer you play this game, the more you will see that there are a lot of "oldies" here that are just the same as me.

@steph i wasnt asking to buy it. i was asking you if you ever decided to quit or give up the name would you tell me. And your profile said nothing about asking that question or about blocking. You said you would ignore if someone was asking to trade or buy it. Also, on your profile you said they werent uft, you didnt say they would never be uft. So, I still dont understand why you blocked me....

I think I have established the fact that I realize you were not asking to BUY my creature or my creatures' name. However, it says on my profile that "No names are UFT", twice. And considering the fact that all of my creatures are immortal, meaning that they will never die, there is no reason, logically, for me to ever abandon them, let alone give them away to strangers. (My creature, or their name.)

Additionally, on my profile there is a link entitled "Frequently Asked Questions". I am assuming when you had a question, you did not reference this. If you follow this link, which is located HERE you will notice that at the bottom of the page I state "Offenders will be blocked...it gets really irritating."
