Ive heard from a couple of people the go for around 100-400k ec but im new here so im not sure.

Unless you find some crazy Swifties or Beliebers out there, these names won't go for /that/ much...!

Names such as Star, Dark, Light, Cloud and RL names like David, Maria, Josh,... xD (sorry I'm bad at giving examples)... go for those prices.

Also, it'd be nice if you have a creature that matches its name.
For example: a Whoon named Whoon, a Lissam named Lissam, that's valuable!

But it's just my opinion, it also depends on who you're trading with, so good luck!~

Hmm, I think you could try to haggle to lower down the price a little bit, perhaps 100k? Or 150k? :-/

Names with underscores, dashes, or numbers, usually aren't worth much. Single words or real-life names can get pricey, depending on what they mean to the person who wants them. I used to have the name Glitter, and TONS of people were asking me for it before I decided to trade it.
Some "word names" I have are: Awesome, Behemoth, Butterscotch, Music (a lot of people ask me for that), Lycanthropy, Crush, Faithful, Heartbroken, Heartbeat, Near, and Far.
And real-life names would be like these I have: Danielle, Cecelia, Gloria, Melissa, Marina, Miguel, Kristi. The two from that list that would be the most valuable are probably Danielle and Melissa. The more common or well-known one of the names is, the more it usually costs.

I also find that it's harder for new users to get good names, since all the other creative, older users here snatch everything up, myself included. However, there are ALWAYS great names available that go overlooked; try to think of a good name or a nice word, then look for it in the search bar on the side, selecting "creatures" for the search option. The names will be in alphabetical order if there are several results. If the name you want isn't taken by another creature, grab a random egg from the cave and give it that name until you find a good use for it (naming one of your own pets or saving it to trade/sell, even as a gift for a friend).

Okay, semi-sarcasm aside (really though, that name is tempting. Could do something fun with it), those names aren't exactly going to get you hundreds of thousands of EC. But still...Justin_bieber!!!

But Shaggy and Tootsie are cute names. I'd say you could probably get up to 100k for Shaggy and maybe 50k for Tootsie?
