Anyone Catching up to the latest pokemon XY news?

I agree 100%. HG&SS; graphics were beautiful and it made it feel as if you were really in the world of Pokemon. The new graphics look like "My Sims" graphics- which bugs me.
I never even got to B&W 2 because the B&W 1 didn't catch my heart to the point of wanted B&W 2. *sigh*

Exactly. It seems like there's someone tying up the Pokemon creators to chairs and gagging them- forcing their own ideas into Pokemon.

Bleh, I really don't know if I'll even look at a copy of X&Y.

I agree, Dedenne's so cute ❤️ It reminds of that Hamtaro thing though...

tbh, I think Mega Lucario looks pretty cool o: The others...not so much. I would've liked it better if they made a "mewthree" of sorts instead of a Mega version :/

Eh, they were already running out of ideas since Gen5 I think xP

I still wanna get a copy of XY and try it out though >u<

Also, I heard that MegaEvolutions only last the span of the battle, and revert back afterwards. You can only have one Mega on the field at a time.

The new rabbit Pokemon is just plain weird.

Did you know that Pokemon has paired up with Digimon?? This sucks! It explains the lack of originality, though...

SHINY SINNOH LEGENDARY GIVEAWAY MONDAY!!! Go to your nearest GameStop with all of your gen 5 games and you can receive a shiny Sinnoh legendary on each; I think it's Palkia but I'm not sure. This is only in the US, though; I can't remember when the other countries have it. Go check Marriland.

I just got it yesterday, and I must admit, I think my opinions were a tad bit wrong. But not completely.
There isn't much 3D, not complaining cuz I don't usually turn it on, and the gameplay is the same as every other generation. (And I've played every single gen)

Some of the evolutions look pretty good, but that bunny Pokemon..
Creepiest thing ever.
Looks like a stuffed bunny that someone ripped apart and threw it away.

The mega evolution just make them pretty darn OP (fought a friend and they used it, died within .45 seconds) but they don't look all that different from their normal forms.

I'm only at the second gym leader (got this game around midnight last night) and it's going nice... But still the same old, same old.

Evil Team, this year, Team Flare. Fight all the gym leaders, Elite 4, Champ... And don't forget those legendary Pokemon.
It's all the same really. The same as every single gen. Sure, there's the new features with the internet and stuff, but it's all so distracting, and there's no real use for it.
