Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I'm not sure if anyone has made a topic about this yet- but here goes.

Anyone have Animal Crossing New Leaf? I was a huge fan of Wild World and I literally bought a 3DS so I could mainly play New Leaf.

What do you guys think about it so far?
I think it's sooo amazing! Way better than the others in my opinion.

Also, maybe some of you would want to trade friend codes? Whoever wants to could post their friend code and people could add them and play sometime. ^^

I loved Animal Crossing Wild World too! And Let's Go To The City/City Folk was good (albeit, it had very annoying controls at least for me since I was used to the DS ones- but I digress).

I like the new fish and bugs added and the new role of being the mayor in New Leaf. I also like how the house feels more like your own in that you can change the outside more and conversations with the residents feel more realistic...at least in my mind.

I also bought a 3DS so I could play New Leaf. It was through looking up future Animal Crossing games that I found out about it in the first place. However, I did get a few during the wait, of course (Virtue's Last Reward is amazing, such a great sequel to 999).

I personally didn't get a 3DS just for New Leaf, but I have been looking forward to the mysterious Animal Crossing 3DS since it was first announced nonetheless. A lot of people on CS got a 3DS just for NL though.

What did you name your town? I named mine Nippon, which is Japanese for Japan and also the name of the place that the Okami series (if two games is even enough to be considered a series) is set in.

This is an inactive topic, but I was looking for an AC topic, so I guess I'd better post here instead of making a new topic ;p

I never had an opportunity to play the other Animal Crossing games. I read everything I could online but there are still things I don't know. I'm really enjoying New Leaf, and whenever I have wi-fi I look for towns to visit. Unfortunately I never have wi-fi and a computer at the same time and the 3ds internet browser sucks so I can't ask anyone to visit their town via Egg Cave ☹️

ooh, i play animal crossing new leaf too ^^
i'd love to share my friend code with you guys but my internet doesn't work on my 3ds :^(
my villagers are henry, kidd, t-bone, octavian, bluebear, diana, freya, rudy, phoebe and broccolo.
