Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm going to assume so.

Anyone ever try this?

http://www.speedtest.net/

It seems that my new internet provider is waaaaay faster than my old, according to that. Seriously, with AT&T my download speed was like 1.50, 2.00 on a good day, and upload like .50. xD

Now it's a lot faster. xD

So how about you?

Post your results!

@frosted
lol that makes me wonder how slow mine really is, because all your numbers are really high....

@chowchow2012
@faybaybay
Think so.
I wonder why I dont get it at all times. xD

Because at some times, eggcave or eggcavern doesnt come at ALL however we try, but ALL other sites come speedily.

I have a tab, and a mobile. Using the tab slows me down, and the mobile greatly decreases the speed.

I wish I could do this test on mobile. xD It'll be less than 1 Mbps.

I think it varies for me sites that I visit all the time like Eggcave load immediately, and then watching videos and stuff slows it down.

Also when I visit sites like speed test I don't why but all of a sudden it gets really laggy for me xD

I agree on mobiles, even on my Ipad it takes forever

@chowchow2012
Humbug >.<
I didnt wish this happened.
Actually I subscribe an internet which has super fast speed in the first times, untill a usage of 15GB. After the usage limit is crossed, the speed is deducted.
>.<
Its just been 10 days. o-o

I feel as if that happened >.>

Lemme check again...

Ping: 30 ms
Download Speed: 41.72 Mbps
Upload Speed: 78.75 Mbps

I guess it might be a server problem.

If it uses to come by that way... and the speed is deducted.
The speed of download would be 3-5 Mbps

Ha and I thought mine was fast. Hate to meet you in a game of key quest or something. XD

@metaphor
It comes at times. I get this speed for 5 hours a day, and the rest of the time, the speed which I mentioned.
And if the speed deduction occurs, it'll severly drop. We hardly get the second speed mentioned for 3 hours a day, and the rest of the time, we get a slow 3-5 Mbps speed.
It deducts after 15GB of usage though..

@chowchow2012
It depends on which server I am. 4G is the fastest. WCDMA is a bit slower. HSDPA/HSPA is as I mentioned the second time, and EDGE/GPRS the slowest. [though it rarely comes, even after speed deduction]

@frosted

Yeah, for me, server has a lot to do with it. It seems that I get better results when it hits the servers in Detroit compared to the one in Cleveland--by about at least 10 mbps, for both upload and download speed.

@metaphor
By the 25th, I'm sure to have to suffer the slow internet for 5 days.

EDIT; The most dreaded thing happened. Speed deduction.
Some one placed a huge file for download. >.<
New speed;
Ping: 76 ms
Download Speed: 5.36 Mbps
Upload Speed: 14.54 Mbps

I guess that is enough for browsing. So no downloads for now.

I do get the second greatest speed at certain intervals (to be exact, 4 hours a day [the other 3 hours are when I would be sleeping |D])
