Hi, I am new here, as in, I just started today and I'm not exactly sure what a 'ping' is...can someone explain? Thanks 😊

A ping is basically a notification to a post. You do it by adding

a @ sign beside any username or press the easy bell button under everyone's name. They only work on the forums to get a notification but you can but them in your profile and comments to link to that person.


For example I'm pinging you right now! It will take you to this post.

I just "ping" you right now xD
When you post on a topic answering to someone, you have to click the bell under their icon so they receive a notification of the message ^^

Edit: I forgot to say that pinging work only on the forum, not in other site pages, and you can ping just 5 users each post...
