Avalon walked out of the store, feeling the difference between the air conditionong and the hot breezes. She unlocked the mustang and got in. She started to go home. She texted Calla:

Avalon: im going to get stuff for trip. Be back soon.

She texted back.

Calla: Okay. Well I will get my stuff too. I will be back soon.

Calla went to the cashier and checked out. Then Calla went to her car and put the food in her trunk. Then she drove home. "Mom I'm back. I'm going to get my stuff then Calla said. Before waiting for answer. Calla ran upstairs as she was running she heard Eviana's ringtone. Calla looked at her phone and texted Eviana.Then when she had her stuff she got back in her car and drove back to Walmart.

Calla: Hey Eviana. Avi and me are at Walmart. You can meet us here if you want.

Avalon drobe back to walmart and parked the car. She got out and went to the clothing again, but this time looking at clearence. Avi waited for Calla, as she browsed through the clothing racks. 'Ooh this is a cute top.' She promised to herself this would be the.only thing she wolud get.

Calla parked beside Avi's car. Then she looked around the clothing section for Avi. "Avi" Calla whispered. Then Calla saw Avi in the clearance section. Calla walked over to Avi. "Hey Avalon" Calla said.

Ally looked at the horizon, just as she had the first day she could remember. It was habit, her new "guardian" never cared what she did, just that she didnt get in his way. The creepy old house, where there had supposedly been experimenting on animals, loomed in the horizon. It somehow facinated her, the way sometimes humans somehow seemed to lose their humanity.
No that wasnt it... maybe because she felt as those animals had: betrayed and uncared for. Just as she had for so many years.
Something tingled in the recesses of her mind, something was going to happen. She couldnt explain it, but it always occured whenever something lifechanging happened. Just like when the accident had changed her life.

"I really like it and are you ready to check out now" Calla said. Started to walk towards a dress that had caught her eye earlier. "What do you think of this dress" Calla asked holding the dress up to her. "i think i'm going to get it" Calla said as she started walking towards check out. Calla got out her phone and texted Eviana and Ally.

Calla's text to Eviana And Ally: Heading to lab. Better start heading that way. k

Then Calla checked out and went to her car. thats when she got a text from Dylan, her best friend.

Dylan: Hey Cal whatcha doin latr? I would like to show you somethin but if u busy i would understand.

Calla texted back.

Calla: I am goin to that abandoned lab by that shady guy's house. If you want you could come.

Allys phone rang, the tinkling sound penetrating her thoughts. One look told her it was time to go: the lab was waiting. With one last look at her "home" in the distance, she left.

Twenty minutes later, she stood in front of the lab, its shadow casting a ray of doubt. Should they really go in there? Ally shook of the feeling, she couldnt let fear rule her life, and waited for the others to arrive.

"Time to go" Calla told herself. Then she got her car and left. She was halfway there when she got another text Dylan. Calla pulled into a gas station and texted back. Then she filled her tank to her car and started driving again then she arrived at the lab. It looked abandoned on the outside but what about the inside. Calla parked beside Ally's car and got out. "Hey Ally you ready for this" Calla asked as she pulled out her phone and texted Eviana and Avalon.

Dylan: Okay then i will meet you there.
Calla: Okay but we are going to stay for three nights.

Text to Eviana and Avalon: Ally and me are here and Dylan is coming. Plus he is staying with us.

Then Calla told Ally about Dylan.

Avalon finally checked out. It took her forever thanks to the cashier lady who had to make a big deal out of everything. First, it was Avi's blue hair. "Ooooh its blue! Thats really differnt" the cashier named Linda had to say. Second, the comment about her lip piercing. "Oh my! A piercing!) Linda said. When this whole process was over, Avi walked out of the store and calmed her nerves down. 'Its not like you'll ever see her again.' She thought.

She got the text from Calla.

She texted back:

Avalon: yeah, yeah, i'llbe there. There was a walmart lady beind stupid. ☹️

Calla finished telling Ally about Dylan as soon as she got a text from Avalon. Calla texted back.

Calla: Okay and was it Linda? I don't know if got this part of the text before but Dylans coming.

Dylan then arrived in his blue jeep. "Hey Calla and Ally" Dylan said with a wave. "So wheres everyone else or did you scare them away" Dylan asked with a flirtatious smile. "Um no and they're on there way" Calla said with the same flirtatious smile. Then she began to blush once she realized what she had done. "Um sorry um do you want to go inside with me" Calla asked Dylan. "sure" Dylan said. Calla took his hand and pulled him towards the abandoned lab. Dylan began blushing once they touched hands. Also he intertwined his fingers with hers and Calla didn't seem to mind. They were inside the lab now and it didn't look that abandoned as it did on the outside. There was no cobwebs, spiders or rats and the light switch worked. "Wow I didn't expect this" Calla said as she got closer to Dylan.

Ally waved at Dylan. "Hi, " she mumbled, before shyly following the couple into the lab. She blinked in surprise when the lights turned on.

Calla was right: why was the lab so clean? And why did the lights still work? It couldnt be possible for them to still work, the power should have been shut of years ago... if the place had really been abandoned.

Suddenly, it didnt seem to be such a good idea to stay here.

"Ally, do you think would should still be here" Calla asked Ally.
Calla was a little more intrigued but a little more scared at the same time. Calla squeezed Dylan's hand when she thought of someone still being here. "Hey Al I think I will text Avi and Eviana about this" Calla said as she pulled out her phone and texted Avalon and Eviana.

Calla's text to Avi and Eviana: The lab looks abandoned on the outside but so not abandoned on the inside.

Tension built in that quiet atmosphere of the abandoned lab, they could feel their hearts picking up the pace, thudding faster and faster, feel the still air weighing on them, they looked around anxiously at the too clean surroundings and without warning, a loud "CLUNK!" like metal being struck followed by hysterical laughter echoed from above and it rang till it faded away. Silence followed.

From the railings above the equipment, a very familiar person slide out from the shadows into the dull light where they could see her and leaned against the rails, smirking.

"Hey Guys! Did I scare ya?" Khalyan chuckled as she scanned her friend's faces, seeing that her prank had been successful.

"You diffidently scared me" Calla said. Calla then began to laugh. "Hey Khalyan How long have you been here?" Dylan asked. He then let go of Calla's hand. When he did that Calla got a hurt look on her face. "Sorry" Dylan whispered to Calla then he kissed her on the cheek. As soon as he did that Calla and him began blushing. "Yea How long have you been here?" Calla asked. Calla then got out her phone to text Eviana and Avalon that Khalyan was here.

Khalyan Swung her legs over the rails and sat there comfortably, "I couldn't sleep last night so, i came here real early this morning. Thought i'd check this place out and wait for you guys to arrive. So, you could say its been awhile." She shrugged nonchalantly and took out a cigarette as she usually does, popped it between her lips and lit it.

She took a deep breath, then blew the smoke out.
"Where's Avalon and Eviana?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Oh um Avalon and Eviana are on there way. i don't know whats taking them so long. Khalyan can i have one of those" Calla said. Dylan looked at Calla weirdly because he had never seen her ask for a cigarette or smoke at all. "I didn't know you smoked." Dylan whispered to Calla. "It's been awhile since i have" Calla whispered back.

Khalyan frowned in surprise at Calla, "Umm.. Okay?.." She jumped off the rail and landed with ease on top one of the huge metal tanks not far below. Before she could leap off the tank towards her friends, the tank groaned loudly under her and the rusty metallic surface under feet gave way. Khalyan couldn't even scream before she fell right through and submerged into the liquid that the tank held.

Calla and Dylan ran over to Khalyan and helped her up. Khalyan was covered in the liquid so when Dylan and Calla helped her up the liquid got on them to. "What is this stuff" Calla said as she went over to a sink and washed it off her hands and then she went to a shower and washed it off her clothes. Dylan did the same. "Um Khalyan maybe when you get that stuff off you. You can give me that cigarette." Calla said. Grabbing a towel that was beside the shower and dryed her hair and face. Then she handed the towel to Dylan and he did the same. Then Calla went out to her car to get a change of clothes. Dylan did the same as Calla.

She came out coughing up that strange liquid, "I Don't...know.." Khalyan's chest felt tight making it a little hard to breath, she kept it to herself, not wanting to worry her friends. She went straight to the shower and cleaned herself up.

Khalyan got her extra clothes from her bag and went out to look for Calla and Dylan. As she walked out, she saw Avi in the distance, she runs to her friends although she feels the tightness in her chest increasing. "Hey! Took you long enough!" She grins, hiding her body's strain.

well everyone is no at the lab and Calla, Dylan and Khalyan get a liquid on them. Khaylan inhales some of the liquid and has strained breathing but hides it from every one. Avalon gets there late though because of a cashier named Linda. Um the lab looks abandoned on the outside but not on the inside.

Sorry if this seems like a bad summary.

Eviana sighed and hugged her mom and dad before leaving. When was the next time she would be able to see them? Eviana then waved and drove to the lab, parking the car on the street and looking curiously at the walls. Wow... so old. Eviana then spotted the entrance way immeditally. She made sure she had everything with her, especially her IPhone before entering. Eviana stepped in and looked around curiously at the inside. It didn't look so nice from the outside. Eviana then wondered where Calla, Avalon, Avi, and the rest of her friends were.
"Hello?" she called.

Calla noticed Eviana's car parked in the street so she knew she was here. "Eviana is here" Calla said to Dylan and Avalon.
Calla then ran inside the lab and ran into Eviana. "oh sorry bout that. Yea your here now we can start the sleepover." Calla said giving Eviana a hug. Dylan ran after Calla. Then he went inside the lab and saw her hugging Eviana.

Eviana smiled and nodded.
"So..." she asked curiously with a shaky voice, "what's going on so far in this place?"
Eviana looked around, especially at the roof, and then bit her bottom lip. Oh great... a place I don't want to go to, and now i'm here. She grabbed her phone from her pocket and saw that she had got a text from her parents. It said: We love you and we will miss you! XOX. Eviana sighed and smiled, she then texted her parents back: Thank you mom and dad. I will miss you as well. I got to the lab safely. I will text you later. Eviana then slipped her IPhone back in her pocket.
