I've done the same run with an emerald game ^^I'll admit, i didn't expect it to be so touching when one of my pokemons 'died' but I guess I'm not all that shamed to say that i cried over it XD You shall be forever missed, dear Rainbowdash the Mudkip ❤️

@mastermeppAhh, the good old Nuzlocke challenge... my most recent Pokemon challenge was a Wedlocke on Soul Silver (still in progress to beat Red...), and it sure is challenging! Since it seems that your rules don't have item restrictions, here's the advice I can give from all of the Nuzlockes I've played:1. If a challenging gym leader/trainer spams stat-boosting moves (like dragon dance), always remember the battle items (ie. X-Attack, X-Speed, etc.)2. Beware. Of. Critical. Hits. If you wind up getting a Pokemon that can learn Lucky Chant, be sure to utilize it, because the crits are painful.3. Since you're on Leaf Green, be sure to buy a ton of antidotes right off the bat. If not, you won't survive Viridian Forest.4. Try to always have a poison or steel type in your party. This is helpful to get rid of moves like Toxic Spikes, and it's great to send out against the nasty Pokemon that keeps using Toxic.5. Always have at least one tank Pokemon. Having someone that can tank hits is extremely important against the quick trainer Pokemon that like to hit hard that your other Pokemon wouldn't be able to survive. Snorlax is a great pick for when you come across it. You'll also want something that's rock or steel and has high defense to get out of the explosive powers of Koffing and Weezing.6. Since you also have no restrictions on how high your Pokemon's levels can be, always be sure to level grind before gym leaders and the Elite Four. My rule of thumb is to train everything two levels higher than I think is needed.7. Having a Baton Passer is a life saver in Nuzlockes. If you can Baton Pass some Swords Dances/Nasty Plots and some extra defense, you'll be golden for the gyms.8. Avoid double battles whenever possible! Extra Pokemon means more weaknesses for you. Fortunately, Leaf Green isn't huge on double battles, but avoid them if you can.9. Don't forget your repels and potions!I find that Nuzlocke challenges get easier and easier the more you do them. I had a rough time on my first run, and there will always be deaths, so you just have to learn to get through them. Good luck! (And hopefully the wall of text I just made isn't too painful for the eye)
