@pirateseaz Ooh, a Halloween type creature? I love creatures with horns ❤️3

The only drawback I can think of is that it might look a bit too much like a Barlog.

Egg description:

If you listen closely, it sounds like the egg is screaming.
A sticky black tar drips from the eggs, they stick to ceilings.
Know to be the one minute and gone another, keep a close eyes on these eggs.

It's so gross its perfect for a demon. I like the first stage because it is oily, like the refuse of souls once consumed and would make the perfect nest/cocoon/portal for the young to incubate.

The second stage I like because it's startling what's coming for you. I also like that it is limited in height, almost stuck between the portal and our plane.

The third stage is the gross stage and that should be the clincher for whomever its coming for and I like that you mention the black spot on the ground prefaces its arrival.

I can see the ground getting an oily look that spreads and a feeling of dread. I would like to imagine him more able to blend in with whatever its background is going to be.

I have a fight AND flight instinct and let wisdom rule the moment so it would need every advantage to get me 😈

That was the most thoughtful and meaningful input on a creature suggestion that I've ever received. I like the way you thing too 😈 That is precisely the way people are meant to feel when they see the murky, black spot of their doom appearing. I like how you noticed that the hatched stage was still emerging from it's plane. Perhaps you would like to ping some friends?
