Hiding in the Real World: Pokemon RP (Signups)

INTRO:
Summer vacation has just begun but instead of hanging out with your friends or going on vacation with your parents like you normally do you're being sent off to camp. That's right, you're being shipped off to some beach camp so your parents can spend the summer in some far off country; it's just not fair!

One week before you're supposed to leave, you decide to play your favorite Pokemon game for the last time before you go. As you turn your Nintendo DS/Gameboy on, your screen crackles with static. Wait! For a moment you see a pair of eyes in the static.. Or was it just your imagination? You shake the thought off and select the continue your game option from the menu but for some odd reason the screen blacks out. You try to turn the system off, but stop when a sentence rolls across the screen: "We have been watching you, Trainer, now prove your worth." Before you can blink a white light erupts from the screen and your game system shakes violently. It stops as suddenly as it began, now your lead Pokemon stands before you in the real world. It's a real living, breathing Pokemon.

PLOT:
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to have a real Pokemon live with you? Riding an Arcanine to school every day or maybe feeding your pet Squirtle before work? Well today your life is about to change, a real Pokemon has emerged from your game and it's all yours! That is, as long as your parents don't find out that you're keeping a monster with super powers in your room! And what about that summer camp you're supposed to be going to in one week? How will you sneak your new friend in? Will you be caught? Are there others who have had the same thing happen to them? Maybe, there's only one way to find out...

SUBSEQUENT PLOT UPDATES:

PLOT UPDATE 1:
A mysterious voice is what urged the Pokemon out of their games and into the real world. It spoke of an imminent danger and offered them a way to help their beloved Trainers. The owner of this voice remains a mystery but one thing is certain, the Pokemon all chose to come. In order to protect their Trainers they must fight against this unknown danger or watch their Trainers slowly be overcome by the darkness. They have five days left before they leave for summer camp, they are safe for now. But what dangers lie in wait at camp RidgeStream?

YOUR FIRST RP POST:
1) Everyone starts out in their own home, they are meeting their Pokemon for the first time a few days before they are supposed to go to summer camp. Once everyone has posted in the RP we will discuss whether there should be a time skip to the first day of camp or not.

2) Everyone has to play their own parents/siblings. I imagine most parents would flip if some strange animal appeared in their kids room so it's probably easier to keep your Pokemon if you hide it from them. It's your choice though.

3) I have a rough story line in mind and at some points I may want to discuss parts with you guys just to keep you in the know.

RULES:

~No controlling others characters
~All out-of-character chat must be in this thread. Small notes are acceptable in the RP when placed in (){} or[] beside a pinged name.
~Be respectful of others
~NO TXT CHAT. Please, this is a literate RP so please only use it if your character is actually using a cell phone to text.
~Please type in third person PoV when in the RP.
~No mary/gary sues

CHARACTER CREATION RULES:
~You may have a legendary Pokemon but keep this in mind: all legendaries must be under level 40.
~Whether your Pokemon can talk or not is completely up to you.
~Only ONE Pokemon per character please.
~Only one of each Pokemon, I don't want 20 Eevees running around the RP...
~Pokemon can have a maximum of six known moves this includes: Level-up moves, TM's, HM's, Egg/Breeding moves, Move Tutor moves.
~If you follow the guidelines in the Applications and read the Rules you'll be accepted quickly and spare me a headache at the same time. Everyone wins!

Personality: Storm does what she wants, when she wants to do it. She's very hard-headed and stubborn, and hates it when people try to control her. She is kind at heart, but can be very rude at times and has a awful temper.
Looks: Short, tan, spunky-looking girl with freckles all over her face, trailing from each cheekbone to the other, crossing the bridge of her nose. Long, chocolate brown curly hair that cascades down to the middle of her back in big ringlets and bangs that sweep across the left side of her forehead. She has deep green eyes that seem to stare into your soul. She wears baggy, cargo camo pants, black combat boots, a black tee and a faux-leather jacket. She is a bit on the scrawny side, but not in an unhealthy way.

@victorythevaporeon Level 59 is fine but you left the ability slot out for your Flygon but it's not too big of a deal considering that Flygon has only one ability, Levitate. Just put that in when you get the chance. Accepted. 😊

@ems Accepted. Abilities are things like Inner Focus, Drought, Pressure, Unnerve, Intimidate etc. You know, the abilities that each Pokemon has assigned to it in the game? In Umbreon's case you choose between Synchronize and Inner Focus. If you're still lost (or if this explanation was an epic fail) just PM me and I'll go into more detail there. 😊

Personality: Outgoing and courageous she always takes the lead in a rough situation. She is quick-witted and doesn't mind getting scrapped up while on an adventure. However she is emotionally sensitive and tends to take things people say personally. As a result she gets discouraged easily and cries when things don't go right.
Looks: Long dyed ruby red hair with white roots, bright red eyes and pale albino skin. She wears bright colorful clothing most of the time. She is partial to shorts and tank tops or sundresses with sandals. She always wears a half-star shaped friendship necklace around her neck.
Other: Her classmates often made fun of her because she was born an albino. Her condition makes her sensitive to the sun.

Looks: Dark brown hair, fairly tan skin, light gray eyes. Has a sullen look about him unless he smiles. Which isn't often unless he's trying to impress someone.
Other: Is somehow able to telepathically communicate with his Ninjask. Neither know how or why it happens.

3) I'm also editing the first post to include an application for non-trainer characters (Camp counselors, parents, siblings, other kids etc.). It's always more interesting and entertaining with adults snooping around that we can trick *cough* I mean keep our Pokemon away from. 😊

4) I have a rough story line in mind and at some points I may want to discuss parts with you guys just to keep you in the know.

And now for a vote! Would you rather have the camp located:

At the Beach
In the Woods
On a Lake
On an Island
On a snowy Mountain
Or in a different area?

Personality: Blake is a very athletic person. There are few sports he hasn't played before, though his favorites are football and soccer. It is rare that he isn't outside doing something athletic. He is a bit vain about his abilities though and he believes he's the best at what he does. It is thought there isn't an uncool bone in his body but he has his geekier side, though not many people know about that. He's obsessed with Pokemon and many other video games, and when he isn't outside playing some sport, he's playing video games. He makes friends relatively easy though.
Looks: He has longish black hair that comes to his shoulders and a bang that sweeps to the left. He has dark blue eyes and a deep tan from spending so much time outside. He has a thin but athletic build and he has a long scar from the top of his shoulder all the way to his hand and it often causes his arm to become in sudden pain. He usually wears soccer shorts, a black t-shirt, and running shoes.
Other: He has six siblings, four older, Christa, Joseph, Alex, and Sirius; a younger, Jimmy; and a identical twin, Jake. He was rather mad when his parents up and left on vacation without him, leaving him and his sibling to be sent off to a bunch of different camps around. He lives in LA, California.

@whitescales Sure. XD I'll just give them all short descriptions. 😸 Also, I'm changing Blake's age to 14 and Jake is his twin brother is now identical. ^^

Blake's Siblings:

Christa- She's 19 and she attends a college close to home. She is usually just cooped up in her bedroom doing homework or whatever because she's rather shy. She has brown hair with blonde highlights with a bang that sweeps to the left. She has dark blue eyes and wears glasses, and she's rather tall for her age.

Joseph- He's 17 with longish black hair and a bang that goes to the right. His eyes are chocolate brown and he's the coldest of his siblings. He gets annoyed with his siblings easily and isn't in the house often.

Alex: She's 16 and she's younger than her twin brother Sirius by 4 minutes. She is 5'11" with a slight tan. She has shoulder length pitch-black hair that's streaked with crimson red, with a bang that sweeps to the left. Her eyes are forest green with a bit of hazel in them. She's the most fun loving of all her siblings and she's in a band with Sirius and a couple friends. She's also quite stubborn.

Sirius: He's the elder of his twin sister Alex by 4 minutes and he's also an inch taller. He has pitch-black hair that is sort of long and he has a bang that sweeps to the left. His eyes are chocolate brown, making him look almost exactly like Joseph. He is the kindest of the group and he is overly nice to everyone. He is in a band with Alex and a couple friends.

Jake: He's 14 and the twin brother to Blake. He looks exactly like his brother but he is considered the nerd of the group and isn't very popular. He's very shy and is a genius, he wears reading glasses most of the time.

Jimmy: He's 7, he's the youngest of the group but sometimes considered the most mature. He has a strange obsession with sharp objects and he lives playing pranks on all his siblings. He's Alex partner in crime. He has longish black hair with red tips. His eyes are forest green with slight hazel in them. He looks cute and innocent, until you get to know him that is.

@victorythevaporeon I forgot to put it in the rules but could you write in third person instead of first person when posting in the RP thread? I think it would make it easier to follow if the whole group wrote in the third person view. 😊
