Summer vacation has just begun but instead of hanging out with your friends or going on vacation with your parents like you normally do you're being sent off to camp. That's right, you're being shipped off to some beach camp so your parents can spend the summer in some far off country; it's just not fair!

One week before you're supposed to leave, you decide to play your favorite Pokemon game for the last time before you go. As you turn your Nintendo DS/Gameboy on, your screen crackles with static. Wait! For a moment you see a pair of eyes in the static.. Or was it just your imagination? You shake the thought off and select the continue your game option from the menu but for some odd reason the screen blacks out. You try to turn the system off, but stop when a sentence rolls across the screen: "We have been watching you, Trainer, now prove your worth." Before you can blink a white light erupts from the screen and your game system shakes violently. It stops as suddenly as it began, now your lead Pokemon stands before you in the real world. It's a real living, breathing Pokemon!

BREAKER + INFO ABOUT THE CAMP & PLOT LINE SOON TO COME!!

Location and surrounding area:
The camp is in the middle of a large forest near Yellowstone National park. The camp buildings are in a small clearing to the west of a gentle stream where the camp goes to for weekly fishing trips. The stream continues to flow South for a few miles before joining a large river in which there are many rapids.
North of the camp a network of caves sit filled with bats and other creatures.
To the East is a large meadow used for most camp activities. Beyond that lies a deeper patch of forest filled with wildlife.

Restricted areas:
Children are not allowed near the river without supervision.
The old caves to the north are also strictly forbidden without supervision.

Rooms:
In the trees surrounding the camp wooden platforms have been built with zip-lines running to each one.
All camper cabins are tree houses furnished with three light cots(beds) and three separate trunks beside each one used for holding clothing and other items the campers bring with them.

Other buildings:

The Mess Hall (cafeteria): Where all meals except for dinner are held.
Fire Room: Really just an open area in the middle of the camp used for nightly campfires. Dinner is typically eaten here unless it is raining.
The Councelors Cabin: Where the Counselors sleep
Head Councelors Cabin: Where the head counselor sleeps
Bathrooms equipped with shower stalls, sinks and toilets. One for the girls, one for the boys.

Other Camp areas:

Old well: The camps water is pumped up through here from an underground reservoir.
Garden: Where most of the camps vegetables and fruits come from. Berry bushes, pear trees, cherry trees, lettuce patches, carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes can be found here.
Chicken coops: The source of the camps eggs for breakfast.

Ok, everyone, time to start!! 😊

"Stupid Drake!" Bryss yelled through the screen door before slamming it. She cradled her Nintendo DS Lite in her left hand and stomped off into the backyard. "Why does he always have to be so mean? There's a huge scratch in it now." She complained as she plopped down in the shade of a large elm tree. She flipped the game system open and powered on her Pokemon Black game in an attempt to avoid thinking about the summer camp she would be going to next week.

"Oh no!" She moaned her screen had gone completely black when she clicked continue game and hadn't changed for three minutes. : Oh just great, my stupid big brother broke it.. : She quickly changed her mind when words started to scroll across the screen.

WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU TRAINER, NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH.

"What's going on?" She pinched herself. "Oww! Well, I'm not dreaming then.. But.. But what does it mean? How can my game be watching me? 'Prove your worth'?" She read out loud, "What's that supposed to mean?"
A blinding light flashed into her eyes, she screamed and threw her hands over her eyes. As her DS hit the grass it started shaking uncontrollably, it opened completely as a clawed blue hand pulled itself free of the screen. Bryss rubbed her eyes as another joined that one.
She was scared at first but after the head emerged she couldn't help but let out a gleeful squeal. "Bagon!" She yelled grinning ear to ear.
The young Pokemon rolled free of the game system and cocked its head at the squealing girl, "Ba-Gon?"

"I'll catch you guys later!" Blake yelled to his friends who were just leaving his yard on their bikes.
"Bye Blake!" They called before peddling off, leaving Blake standing at his door.
Blake grinned and walked inside, only to be met by the usual screaming of his siblings.
"JOSEPH! Where did you hide my freaking guitar?!" His sister, Alex, screamed from upstairs.
"I'll tell you that when you give me back my pillows!" Joseph shouted back angrily.
"You sleep too much! I did you a favor!" She screamed back and she was soon interrupted by another girl's scream, "JIMMY! Give me back my glasses!"
"NEVER!" The littlest of the Hunters, Jimmy, yelled back to the eldest, Christa.
"All of you guys shut up! I'm trying to read in here!" Jake, Blake's twin, shouted from the room they shared.
"Everyone just calm down and return what they took!" The final sibling and the voice of reason, Sirius, yelled.
"NO!!" Was the only reply he got.
Blake smiled and said, "Ah, home sweet home." He then tossed his dirty shoes onto the mat beside the door and he then began to climb the steps of the staircase, heading towards his room.

His house was three stories in total, the bottom floor consisted of his parents' bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, dining room, and the family room, though nobody used that room often. The second floor consisted of Alex's bedroom, Sirius' bedroom, Joseph's bedroom, Christa's bedroom, Jimmy's bedroom, and Blake and Jake's bedroom. The final story was only one room, a ginormous entertainment room with a huge TV, tons of speakers, some arcade games, and a crap load of other video games, movies, etc. The family could afford this kind of stuff because of their father's job, he was a famous movie producer where they lived, LA.

As Blake made it to the second floor her was practically pushed back down the steps by a kid shooting past him, Jimmy. Right after him was another person, Christa, who was still screaming as she chased him down the steps, Blake now clinging to the railing to keep himself from falling back down them. He sighed in relief and then shook his head before walking to his bedroom. He plopped down on one of the two beds in the room and grabbed his DS from the bedside table. The other bed was currently occupied by his twin brother, Jake, who was reading who knows what. The two looked exactly alike, except Jake wore glasses and was considered a huge nerd at their school, nobody paid much attention to him.

Jake grinned at him and set his book down, "Hey." He said with a yawn,, "Want anything from the kitchen, I'm gonna go get something." Blake shook his head and watched his brother leave, shutting the door behind him, Jake then turned his attention back to the screen of his DS, turning it on. He went through all the process of opening the game, Pokemon Soulsilver at the moment, and he hit "Continue Game", that's when the screen went black. Blake waited patiently but nothing happened and he was about to turn the DS off and back on before words appeared on the screen.

"WE'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU TRAINER, NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH."

"What the heck?" Blake muttered to himself, "What happened to my game?" He said pushing random buttons to try to get it working, nothing happened. That was until a sudden blinding flash caused Blake to drop his DS. He freaked and backed against his wall, staring at the DS that was now on the ground. Then a small paw appeared out of nowhere, causing Blake to pressed even closer to the wall. Then a head appeared, and finally the rest of the body was now free of the controller. It didn't say anything, its eyes simply stared at Blake, seeming to be inspecting him.
"I'm so dreaming," Blake muttered, staring at the figure of his Quilava from his Pokemon Soulsilver. "Yup, definitely dreaming."

WE'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU TRAINER, NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH."

Ally stared at the message in exasperated disbelief. How like her to FINALLY finish the Nationaly Pokedex, simply to have her game glitch. It was probably going to restart any second now, completely blank.

She tossed her DSi on the bed and waited...
And jumped back in shock when a pair of eyes look back at her with love welling in them.

Ally tossed the game to the far side of her room. As the DS fell, it started shaking uncontrollably, and she was frozen in horror as a pokemon started to appeared.

Ally uried her face in a pillow, desperately hoping she wasnt hallucinating. Or crazy. Or having a psycotic episode.

Ally started when a small, timid paw tapped her a few seconds later. Reluctuantly lifting her gaze, she could only stare at the real live pokemon in her bedroom.

"Sweetie, whats going on up there?" A shout came from downstairs.

"Nothing dad, my DSi fell."

Her tears blurred her vision as she beheld her favorite pokemon,Riolu.

Clay was having a boring day, as usual. His sister was sick, so he had no one to pick on. Laying down on his "gaming chair" (A couch cushion pushed up against the wall as he could not afford a nice gaming chair.) he decided to break out his old Pokémon Ruby. He stuck it into the GBA slot of his DS, and when it didn't work, he figured his favorite Pokémon game was broken or there was dust inside the connectors. What he didn't expect was to see these words flash across the screen:

WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU, TRAINER. NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH.

Clay was immensely confused, he had beaten the game at least twenty times since he got it. Why hadn't this happened before. All curiosity was quadrupled when a tiny Ninjask crawled out of the old DS Lite. HIS Ninjask. From the game. It was the first Pokémon in his party. His shiny Ninjask was his prized possession, having found it when it was a smaller-than-average Nincada. As the foot-long, golden Ninjask buzzed around his head, he asked it if it could speak. After all, some Pokémon could speak. It replied, "Of course, Clay. Don't you remember the 'glitch' that happened when I spoke to you directly from inside the game?" Of course he knew, it was immensely strange. The voice had been inside his head, the same as when his Ninjask talked to him, just now.

"So much for my boring day," thought Clay.

"Yep," his Ninjask replied.

@victorythevaporeon @clayosaurusrex @zephyrne @hedwig68 @whitescales Sorry for being so lazy. XD

Storm flipped out her DSi, entering her room and locking the door behind her. She could hear her mom faintly calling her for dinner, but Storm wasn't really hungry. Besides, she was busy with Pokemon HeartGold. She even had a game plan right now, and the Umbreon-obsessed girl was not going to let herself forget it over food.

As soon as the intro had finished, the DSi black-screened and shook a bit as some staticky words appeared.

WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU TRAINER, NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH.

What?

No, really, what?

An Umbreon cry crackled through the speakers, and Storm threw it towards the door with a small bang.

"Storm, you alright?" Her mother called.

"I'm fine!" Storm shouted back, "Not hungry yet!"

Her mother chided her, urging her to come down.

"I'm not hungry!" Storm shouted over the repeated cry as her lead Umbreon, Shadow, appeared on the screen, red eyes blazing into her green. It broke the fourth wall, taping lightly on the screen with a paw that slowly pushed through the screen, and Storm held back a shriek. Her lights flickered and the DSi black-screened again. Storm shut her eyes.

When she opened them, her lead Umbreon sat in front of her undamaged DSi, licking her paw and running it over her ringed forehead as a cat would. Storm just stared.

"What? You didn't think I was real?" Shadow asked boredly, and Storm couldn't seem to reply as her favorite Pokemon jumped up onto her bed next to her. She laid her head in Storm's lap and sighed.

"Storm! Come down for dinner this instant!"
"Coming!"

Storm looked at the Umbreon for a moment, quickly devising a plan.

"Get under the bed. Now." She said calmly, lifting the heavy creature and quickly attempting to push it under her bed. Shadow growled.

"Shadow! I can't let my mom see you! Now go!" Storm ordered, and Shadow complied begrudgingly, crawling under the bed with her ears laid back.

"Fine. But you owe--"

"Storm!"
"Coming!"

Storm left her room, locking the door behind her before dashing down the stairs just in time.

As the seconds went by, Ally came to several conclusions:
1) She wasnt dreaming.
2) There really was a Riolu in her bedroom.
3) Her dad was going to freak out if he saw a real pokemon in her room.

As if to prove this last point, she heard a loud knock agianst the door, followed by the lock rattling. "Ally, open the door, its time for dinner. Youre not going to stay up here and play that silly game of yours!"

Ally froze, then quickly shoved her riolu into the closet and opened the door. "Ill be down in a minute," She told her dad, who peered into the room suspiciously. Her heart nearly stopped when she heard the crashing coming from inside the closet.
"What was that?!?!"
"Nothing, my clothes mutated from the lack of wasing and theyre trying to escape to rule the world. You want me to let them out?"
"...Sometimes, you worry me. Five minutes." With that said, he went back downstairs.

Bryss scooped up the little dragon Pokemon and spun around in circles squealing, "It's you, it's you, it's really, really you!" She let herself fall to the grass below her and set the, no, her Bagon down on her chest.

"Why wouldn't it be me? I am your lead Pokemon after all." He said smiling.

Bryss gaped at Bagon, "Y-you talk? You're a talking Bagon? You didn't ever talk in the game."

"Well I'm talking now aren't I? And stop calling me 'Bagon', you still remember what you named me when I first hatched out of my egg, don't you?" He said with a pleading look in his eyes.

"Of course I do! I named you Therin, I would never forget that!" Bryss said cheerfully. "I remember raising your parents and grandparents too. But, how did you get here?" She wondered.

"I- I don't really know myself," Therin mumbled hopping off Bryss's chest. "I just remember seeing a screen and when I looked through it I saw you, heard your voice. Then..." He paused for a minute, his face scrunched in deep concern, "Then a voice told me to reach through it. It said that my Trainer was in danger and that the only way for me to protect you was to climb through."

"You came to protect me?" Bryss cut in, "But how am I in danger?"

He shrugged in an attempt to hide his embarrassment and continued, "I didn't get a chance to ask, when I started climbing through I couldn't breathe so I tried to hurry back to the game but it was gone! I couldn't go back."

"So you came here instead." Bryss said with a worried look on her face. "You don't know-"

"Bryss! Get inside for dinner!" Her mother yelled from inside the house.

Bryss whipped her head around and yelled, "Be there in a minute!" She turned back to Therin, "If my mom found out that I'm keeping a monster that came out of my video game she'd send you to the pound."

"But I'm not a monster!" He protested, "And what's the pound?"

"Brisanna!" He mother called again. "Don't make me send Drake out to fetch you!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" She yelled back. "Ok," She said quietly to Therin, "I need you to climb up this tree to that branch. See it there?" She pointed to a branch that extended past a second story window. "Wait up there, I'll run up to it and let you in through that window. Can you do that?"
Therin nodded and started up the tree, gripping it tightly with his claws. "Don't let anyone see you!" Bryss hissed before scooping up her DS and trotting back to the house. She ran past the dining room yelling, "I have to put my DS away, be back in a second." She sprinted up the stairs and nearly ran into her older brother, Drake, as he was going down the stairs.
"What's the big rush?" He said placing his hand on her shoulder, "Shouldn't you be downstairs eating?" His eyes flashed over to the DS in her hands, "Or do you need a bandage for your precious little game?"

Bryss rolled her eyes and slipped out of her brothers grip, "You're such a-"

"A what?" He said rounding on the smaller kid. "Watch what you say or mom is going to find out that you're the one who let that squirrel in the attic last weekend." He said as he walked past her down the stairs.

Bryss glared after him and stomped off to her room. She quickly shut and locked the door behind her, in case Drake came back. She threw her DS onto her bed and quietly slid the window open. She stuck her head out and whispered, "Therin? You out there?" She let out a short scream as something landed on her head.

"What's wrong? It's just me!" Therin said from his perch on top of her crimson head of hair.

"Don't so that!" She hissed hurriedly as a knock came at her door.
"Little sis, is everything alright?" Said a worried female voice asked through the door.

"Rynn, you're back from college already?" Bryss called back, "A bug scared me that's all."

Rynn lowered her voice, "Well alright, but I thought I should warn you that dad's pretty mad about something. It has something to do with a squirrel I think."

"Rats!" Bryss hissed under her breath as she set Therin down in a dresser drawer and held one finger up to her mouth. He nodded and slid down underneath a pair of fuzzy green pajamas.

"That wasn't you again, was it?" Rynn asked trying the doorknob, "Why is your door locked?"

"To keep Drake from breaking my stuff." Bryss answered sliding the drawer shut and slid out her bedroom door, shutting it firmly behind her. "Come on," She said tugging her sisters sleeve, "I might as well go face the music."

Blake continuously pinched himself, "Wake up! Wake up!" He told himself, every so often checking to see if the Quilava was here. Finally he gave up, "Guess I'm not dreaming." He finally decided with a heavy sigh.

The Pokemon rolled his eyes, "Good job smart one, you figured it out." It muttered sarcastically, leaping up onto his bed and sitting next to him. Blake freaked once more, "You talk too?! What the heck is happening to me? Am I going crazy?"

"No, this is real, now close your mouth, you're gonna catch flies." The Quilava muttered, sitting in his lap comfortably.

"Bu-but, your a freaking Quilava, one that talks! You're a talking Quilava! You're not supposed to be real, let alone know how to talk! You're supposed to be in my DS, fighting make believe bad guys and Pokemon!"

"Well that hurt, and I have a name, remember, its Flare." Flare muttered, rolling his eyes as he shifted in Blake's lap, "And I don't know how I got here, at least not really."

Blake opened his mouth to ask what he meant but suddenly the door opened, revealing his brother. "Hey Blake, I know you said you didn't want anything but I- What is that?!!!" Jake yelled, a cup of water and a bag of popcorn on the ground. The boy didn't seem to notice the spilled stuff as he pointed at Flare in shock, his eyes wide behind his glasses.

Blake froze, he'd completely forgotten about Jake and the fact they shared a room! "Its, uh, my Quilava from Pokemon Soulsilver...?" Blake murmured, what else could he say? He was still confused about what was happening.

Flare looked at Jake calmly, "Yo." He said, causing Jake to freak out even more.

"It talks?!" Jake exclaimed back up against the wall, not seeming to really know what to say, what could you say when your twin brother suddenly has a little blue and tan flaming monster in his lap?

"Yeah, uh, I am just as freaked out as you, but we need to be a little quieter, if mom came up here and saw him, things would not end up very good." Blake said, getting to his feet, much to Flare's distaste, and closing the bedroom door, looking it. He somehow managed to stay calm, though only just barely.

Jake nodded, finally calming down, "Um, okay, but how did you get a Quilava, aren't they make believe?" He questioned.

Flare rolled his eyes, "Why does everyone say that? Does it LOOK like I'm make believe? I think not, and how I got here, that's a long story."

"We've got the time."

"Okay, so I saw this screen and when I looked through it I saw you. Then this voice came out of nowhere and told me to reach through the screen, I needed to protect you from something, but I don't know from what exactly." Flare explained with a shrug, "I went through the screen and I ended up here, with you guys."

"Um, okay..." Blake and Jake finally said at the same time, not really sure what else to say. "I wonder what you're protecting Blake from though? And I wonder if this is happening to other people?" Jake said, full of questions as usual. He was a man of science so all of this was freaking him out, what could be going on? This definitely defied many laws of science.

Blake on the other hand thought this was the coolest thing ever, I mean his own personal Pokemon? Sweet! The only problem was his mom and dad, if they found out about Flare they'd send him to the pound, or worse, a science institute to be tested on, I mean it WAS a Pokemon in real life. Blake had no idea what was going on but he knew that even though Flare was supposed to be protecting him from something, he need to protect Flare from his parents, and any other adult for that matter, at all costs. They just wouldn't understand this and they'd want him gone or destroyed, that didn't fly with Blake.

Alright, I finally got on the computer 😋
-
Jinx pushed the power switch on her DS Lite. She had a 3DS, but it didn't feel the same. Expecting Pokemon HeartGold to start up, she almost cried out when all she saw was static; she had played for 3 years with no problems and wanted to keep it that way.

'WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU TRAINER, NOW PROVE YOUR WORTH.'
Jinx squealed with delight. It might have seemed odd to anyone else, but she had a very active imagination and had often fantasized about things like this. Her life was very boring. Either way, when her DS felt a bit too hot, she put it down and backed away. She stared intently at the screen, waiting for something else. Just then, her cat decided to distract her by knocking over her lamp, and she didn't see her lead Pokemon emerge from her DS.

"Aw, man, I missed it!" She walked calmly up to the Espeon sitting in the middle of the room.

"Hey! Are you the same Espeon from my game?"
The Pokemon nodded.
"You're quiet."
"Esp?"
"Ha, that kinda sounds funny. Well, not when you say it, but if I said it it would sound really weird." Jinx sat beside her.
"Will you come with me to the stupid camp my parents are making me go to?"
No response.
"Okay... I guess I should hide you until then. You know, if you're coming."
Still nothing. The silence could have been interpreted in many ways. 'Yes'...'No'...'Look behind you'...

Jinx did look behind her. Her mom was turning the doorknob. It could only be her mom, since her dad wasn't home. When she looked again, Espeon was already heading for her closet.
"Jinx?"
"Yeah mom?"
"Who were you talking to?"
"My Espeon," Jinx answered truthfully.
"Oh, alright. But you know you can't take that game with you when you go to camp." Then she left.
"Hey, Espeon. How did you get out of my game?"
Espeon peeked out from the closet.
"I mean, it's not scientifically possible."
Espeon tilted her head in confusion.
"Nevermind."

Ally scowled at her new riolu, who didnt even have the kindness to hide how pleased he was. Really, she was going to go insane trying to hide him until she left for camp. And then what? If her dad saw him, he would end up in a secret military research center.
But what to do, she couldnt take him with her...could she?
She HAD once hidden a cat in the house for nearly 2 months. Her dad had made her give it way when he found it playing in the pancake mix. But what if more pokemon came?

"That was rude."
Maybe she couldnt rule out the crazy/dreaming scenario just yet.

"You TALK!!!"
He giggled, struggling to untangle himself from the pile of laundry on the floor. "Of course I talk. Most pokemon can, its just some humans cant hear us."

"Not that Im not happy your here, but no one else is coming right? My luxray, Roselia, Staraptor, Inferape and Quagsire are not coming..right?
A quizical look crossed his face. "Who?"
Ally had reminded herself that he was tecnically still a baby, hed only hatched a few days ago. "Shadow, Sunny, Avion, Blaze and Aquos?"

The look diminished but did not entirely fade. "Im not quite sure they can. We all heard a voice telling us you were in trouble. They wanted to come but they couldnt agree on who. I reached out while they were arguing and... here I am."

"Stay here. I need to go to dinner, and my dad will have a heart attack if he sees you."
"Why?"
"Your not real to him: youre a bunch of pixels."
"Im not a bunch, Im a riolu, and my name is kitron, not pixel."
"Stay!"
"Yes mama."

Twenty minutes later, Ally entered her room with all the excitement of a man going to the gallows. Part of her wanted Kitron to be gone, a figment of her pokemon obssessed imagination, the other wanted him with her.

The her relief, and horror, she found him staring at the hundreds of pokemon posters on her walls. "You know, I thought I told you to hide"

"No, you said stay here. Why are all these pokemon not moving?"
"Theyre pictures, not real."
"Oh." Kitron frowned slightly. "Am I real?"
"You are now... but you werent before. You were just...ummm"
"A bunch of pixels." Kitron looked read to cry. "Not real. Just a picture."

"Thats not true..."
"Of course, and yet you were scared when you saw me."
"I didnt expect-"
"To see pixels come to life. I dont exist. How many times can someone take being told theyre not real?"

Ally said nothing: what could she say that was not a balant lie?

"You have any idea why I might have to protect you?" interjected a voice at the dinner table.

"Protect me? What from?" Clay replied in his head.

"I have no idea what from. 'They' just told me that you were in danger." Came the voice of the small Ninjask that was hiding in Clay's closet. "They told me that I had to protect you, and that it was imperative to keep you out of harm's way... period. All they told me."

"They? Who's 'they?'"

"That's just it, I have no idea..."

"So why are you telling me this right now?"

"I was worried I might forget... Anyway, why did you never nickname me?"

"I was never one for nicknaming Pokemon... never did, probably never will. Why the change of subject?"

"I just wanted to know why I didn't have a name, that's all."

"Fine, you can be... Pit."

'Pit' actually kind of liked that name, "Where did you get that from?"

"An acronym of the first three words of pain in the neck." Clay smiled as he finished eating.

Jinx was frustrated.

"You're a Pokemon."

Espeon nodded.

"You can use moves?"

Espeon nodded again. This was why Jinx was frustrated.
"It's very hard to talk to you."

'Would you rather I use telepathy to communicate?'

For once, she was caught off guard. Espeon's voice was clear, like she was speaking right next to her ear. But she wasn't. Obviously.

"Woah. Yeah, that'd be better."

'That surprised you?'

"Yes, it did. I'd kind of forgotten you were psychic."

Espeon smiled for the first time. It made her seem more like a human than an animal. This made Jinx think a little harder about the real Pokemon in her room.

"Why are you here?"

'To protect you.'

"From what? Endless boredom?"

'I don't know. Maybe.'

"Why?"

'I was told to protect you. That's all. I don't know why, but I would never refuse.'

"So will you come to camp with me?"

'Of course. I have to stay with you, no matter what.'

Jinx heard her mother calling her for dinner and realized how awkward this whole thing had been.

"I have to go to dinner."

'I'm coming.' Espeon's voice was determined.

"No, you're not! You can't. My parents can't see you."

'I'm coming,' Espeon repeated and strolled out the door.

"No!!" Jinx chased after her, annoyed, but she couldn't help but feel happy. At least she wasn't bored.
