Tulip went faster as she focused on the scent of the rabbit. Then she stopped short. She saw what looked like a black wolf about to pounce on a white wolf. She barked, hoping to get the white wolf's attention.

@animallover94 Bro, since Storm in completely black and is "hidden in the shadows" and in a bush, you aren't likely to see her. 😋@whitescales @ashfire @rushingwater--Strom heard a bark, and fell back deeper into the bush she was hiding in, her lips forming a silent snarl of irritation as her head slowly turned towards another wolf scent. There she saw another wolf, looking all self-righteous as she tried to warn the white wolf of the prank Storm had been moments away from pulling. The loner bit back bitters words and snarls. She wouldn't let the new wolf get on her nerves enough to blow her cover now.

@ems True, I didn't think of that. I shoud'veread it more carefully to know she was hidden... SorryThe wolf completely disappeared and Tulip felt like she couldn't do anything to help the wolf. "The only thing to do," she thought "is to see what happens." She sat on her haunches and looked at the white wolf @ems @whitescaled @ashfire @rushingwater

@ems @animallover94 Prelue flicked an ear in the direction of the bark but ignored it, intent on the rabbit burrow the trail had led to. 'If I could just get this rabbit to come out..' She cocked her head to the side as a plan came to fruition in her head. She located the rabbits escape tunnel with her eyes and bent back down to the main tunnel entrance. She took a deep breath then howled as loud as she could straight down into the burrow. The echos startled the rabbit causing it to dash out of the back entrance into the shadows. "Oh no you don't!" She howled excitedly giving chase. Her teeth were inches away from the soft rabbit fur when it suddenly leapt to the side and made a sharp right hand turn. In desperation Prelue attempted to turn after it but lost her footing and flew straight into something large and black. "Oww," she turned and looked after her prey, "I lost it.. again." Her floppy ears perked up a bit, "But at least I had a soft landing!" she added sniffing at what she had landed on. 'This feels like fur, wait, I'm sitting on another wolf?' Her thoughts came slower than usual as she realiszed that she had just ran into and landed on another, much larger, wolf.

@whitescales Bwahahah.@animallover It's alright. ;3@rushingwater @ashfire Guys I'm serious, you need to post. It's been almost four days.--Storm growled at the wolf who'd she'd been so desperate to prank. Her bear skull wasn't white enough to match the white wolf's coat. Not pure enough, Storm noted through her new aches."Would you mind getting off of me." She hissed.

@ems @ashfire @animallover @whitescales ---"Alright guys. Gather 'round so I can give ya your duties," said Black Ice."Cloud, Smoke, Whisper, go hunt. Ash, Misty, guard the North Side. Leaf, Claw, guard East Side....."(etc, etc.)Black Ice sighed and flopped down. So many duties to give, enemies to fight off.

@emsSorry for not posting, I'm not allowed on weekdays. Unless i'm home. T.T~~~~~Lyra snoozed peacefully in her den, ignoring any noises that surrounded her. She then yawned and her eyes fluttered open, she looked around and noticed how late it was. 'Great... I think I slept in...' Lyra thought. Lyra shook herself when she stood up and peeked outside of her den. She blinked seeing Black Ice, the alpha giving orders. Well, at least she wasn't a higher rank that wasn't a juvenile or pup. Or else, she would have missed all those duties Black Ice had called out. Lyra stepped out of her den and looked around boredly.

@ems 😋 My lil Prelue is so clumsy @animallover94"O-oh, oh right!" Prelue stammered as she sprung to her feet. "I'm so sorry, really. I was chasing after that rabbit and I didn't see you there and I just-" She stopped when she saw the skull on the pitch black wolf's head and took an involuntary step back. Her floppy ears flattened against her head as she stared at two green orbs floating behind the empty sockets of the skull, "Ar-are you, a monster?" She whimpered.

She removed her skull to reveal that she was nothing but an average wolf."Pack wolves these days." She sighed sarcastically, "They just get thicker and thicker. No hard feelings, pup." The bigger wolf replaced the skull on her head."Sorry for getting in the way, I guess." She laughed good-naturedly.

She sighed in relief and laughed with the other wolf, "You certainly looked like one in the shadows. I mean your fur is all black, you're wearing that huge skull and I've never seen a wolf with green eyes before. I honestly thought that they were spirit lights haunting that skull of yours."She swished her tail back and forth in a not-quite-wag, "I'm not mad, I'm kinda glad it got away. There were babies in that burrow too, now it can raise them." She smelled the air around the wolf again and tilted her head, puzzled. "I've never smelled you before, so are you a loner or from our neighboring pack?"

@whitescales Storm would normally be mad, but Prelue's sillyness/dopeyness mad her want to be nice for once. 😋@ashfire @rushingwater @animallover94--Storm rolled her eyes. "Spirit lights, eh? I've never heard of anything sillier!" She smiled."That's an interesting way to think about prey..." Storm thought out loud, her confusion thrust away as the dopey wolf asked if she was from a neighboring pack or a loner."Definitely not from a pack. Never. I was born and raised in one though." Storm answered, not enjoying the itty bitty reveal of her history.

Tulip watched the wolves talk and decided to leave. She started to walk past them, but saw a deer. It was a doe, and it was asleep. She started to run between the two wolves but banged her head against the skull the black wolf wore. She yelped and staggered to the ground. She looked up at them, embarrassed. "I'm sorry." she said "I'm usually not so careless." She stood up. "I was just in such a hurry to catch that doe I forgot to pay attention to where I was running somehow." @ems @whitescalesTulip usually doesn't do things like that, I just had to do something to get involved.

Lyra blinked. She had only gone hunting a few times, but she agreed to anyways. When she was older, she might be a hunter. Lyra pranced up to Black Ice and nodded. "I'll always be happy to hunt!" she exclaimed. Lyra then turned around and then padded after Cloud happyly. @rushingwater

@animallover94 @rushingwater @ashfire @whitescales--Storm's head snapped to the side as the other wolf barreled between her and the white wolf. She snarled in pain. She shook her head, but that only hurt more. She didn't want to be too prickly around the white wolf, so she settled for looking evenly at the new wolf. "Just be more careful next time." She said smoothly, and turned back to Prelue.

@ems Ahhh, Pre is lucky then 😋@animallover94 Understandable, Prelue is just that clumsy XD@ashfire @rushingwater Prelue gave the older wolf a hurt look, "But I've seen them before. With my own eyes! Fireflies are different than these but everyone thought that's what I saw. Nobody believed me." She ended.A flash of silver fur and yellow eyes attempting to dash between them distracted her. The other wolf ran right into the black she-wolf that Prelue was conversing with, eliciting a frightening look from under the wolf's skull and a few level words."Ah, heh. Well, at least I'm not the only one who lost a meal." She said to the new wolf.She turned to the black skull wearing wolf and said, "Maybe I should introduce myself, my name's Prelue." She punctuated the introduction with a slight wag of her tail. "I was born and raised in a pack too, but not this one. I have family in other packs but we dispersed a while ago."

Storm replied with a small smile, not having the heart to crush the other wolf's little fantasy. "I'm Storm. Don't... Say anything about me." She wished she could rub her neck... Oh well, she'd just have to take it a bit easier for a while.

Prelue almost shouted, her tongue lolled out of her mouth as a broad smile stretched across her face. "Then then- Wait, why don't you want me to mention you to the pack? Don't you want to meet them, Storm?" She cocked her head and stared almost imploringly at Storm.

XD@rushingwater @ashfire @animallover94--Storm was about to launch into a very interesting story of the spirit lights, but was snapped away from the small fantasy as the white wolf questioned her mystery. Storm looked at Prelue's imploring expression and sighed."It's a very, very long story. The short version is I was banished. I don't want to meet them; as they'd likely want to drag me back into that dump. Orders upon orders, and no fun. I was sick of pack life, so I insulted my Alpha and was banished. I would've run off anyways though. Besides, they'd hate me anyways." She smiled mischievously. "I tend to screw up the system.""But anyways! You wanted to hear of the lights, no?" Storm asked, obviously floundering for a change of subject.

She sat quietly and thought for a second about backing up the pack but before she said anything she remembered her brother did something similar before he left. She shook her head and decided the pack was wrong, just like they were that time. "I can think of worse things than insults that would turn a pack against you. They were childish to throw out a smart wolf like you just because of a few words." She smiled and swished her tail when the other wolf mentioned the spirit lights again, "Of course I want to hear your story! What color were they? Where were they? I wanna hear it all!" She grinned.

@whitescales Mmm, probably. That's only if she doesn't end up irritating the living crap out of Storm. But her innocence hit Storm's soft spot. xD@rushingwater @ashfire @animallover94 *poke*--"That they were. I did throw quite a few nasty things at them though." Storm laughed as she tried to recall the details."Well... They were red. A blood-red. And they were in the creek at the edge of your territory. It was at night, so it was very, very dark, and the lights seemed threatening me almost." She explained.

@ems @whitescales Tulip sat, listening to Storm's story of the spirit lights. "Cool." she said "I didn't even know spirit lights were real." Actually, she was almost positive they weren't, but she didn't want to be rude.

Lyra nodded and listened to the older wolf. She sniffed the air and thought she had a trace of something... but what? Lyra continued to smell curiously, two wolves? "I do smell something," she pointed out, "two wolves. One smells familiar and one doesn't." Lyra blinked at Cloud, wondering what he/she would do. She shifted her paws uncomfortably. Lyra knew her hearing was somehow sensitive. She wondered, who were those two wolves, and what were they doing. Lyra sighed and continued to smell for any prey, trying to ignore the scent of the two wolves as she waited for Cloud to say something. @rushingwater

Lyra blinked in alarm. She wondered what Cloud would do, she wanted to help her with whatever. But, she had to obey the older wolf and nodded. Lyra padded back to camp, always trying to look back and see what was going on. Were those two wolves something of a big problem? She sighed and stalked back to camp.@rushingwater Oh, kk. xD
