Does anyone love Asian dramas and movies? I'm a huge fan of Korean dramas and I have also watched dramas from Taiwan and Japan. They are so good, and different from the ones I normally watch from TV.So is there others like me? đ

@nanica My mother watches Taiwan dramas, but only because she is from there. đI sometimes watch them with her, but I do not actually watch them very often. :S
nanica • 29 July 2013 at 4:29 PM
@glados What do you think about them? đ
glados • 29 July 2013 at 4:36 PM
@nanica I think they're pretty interesting, actually. Although sometimes they yell all the time and I can't stop laughing. đ It's helpful, though, because I understand them! xD

@nanica @gladosI watched usually manly Taiwanese drama, than I like hystirical korean drama like The Moon that Embraces the Sun, but Japanese ones aren't my jam xDI also watch a lot of horror movies and korean tv shows, the ones with idols you know ;D

@nanica Why am I not surprised that it was you who started this topic? xD When I saw the title, I was all: "Nanica....." Ahaha đ
nanica • 29 July 2013 at 4:57 PM
@glados It would be really useful to understand the language they are speaking but luckily there's subs! đ@dafni Japanese aren't my thing either, but I still have watched few and liked them. Mostly I watch Korean dramas because I think the actors are better, and the stories in some cases. At the moment I'm watching Vampire Prosecutor 2. It's a horror drama, and I don't normally like horror, but this is a good one. What have you people been watching?@safikei Ehehe đ Because you know me too well? :'D

@nanica I usually find taiwanese ones way more funny and entertaining, korean dramas are so easy to predict, I get bored after few episodes, but I guess it's just personal taste ;DRight now I'm ending Hayate The Combact Butler and rewatching We Got Married Season 1, than I want to start Office Girls and Jang Ok Jeong, Living By Love ^^

@nanica Oh I know you like my own pockets.. xD Well, almost at least!
nanica • 29 July 2013 at 6:13 PM
@dafni It's true what you say about Korean dramas being easy to predict, but I have also found series which aren't that easy to predict.I also have few favourite Taiwanese dramas. Lately I have been watching "Miss Rose" and "Fated to love you". They are funny and romantic, but also in some points a little bit over the top, but I don't mind! @safikei Well we have know each other for over 10 years đBut we should be talking about Dramas and movies, not how well you know me ;D
dafni • 30 July 2013 at 8:57 AM
@nanica I already heard about "Fated to love you", maybe I should add it to the planned dramas to watch đ So many cool things to watch, so little time for doing it >.<

@nanica I really like detective dramas like BOSS and Galileo. It always kind of makes me sad that the seasons are so short and we never know if there's going to be a season 2 or not lolI've actually got a huge weak spot for period drama and the chinese martial arts ones, especially the ones with really silly CG and green screen effects XD@dafnilol, I totally get what you mean by predictable! Especially the idol romance ones where it takes the couple all 20 something episodes to get together when it was so obvious they were going to do so from ep1. I guess the funny stuff that happens in the middle are pretty interesting, but I also loose interest really quickly XD
dafni • 30 July 2013 at 2:01 PM
@tarepanda @nanica Exactly xD At least I think taiwanese ones are more funny and easy going, while most of the korean ones take the story too seriously, even if have still some enjoyable parts... The only romantic one that I ended was My Name Is Kim Sam Soon *^* The other thing that I don't like so much is when they create the drama role on a specific idol, just cause he/she's famous and give high ratings to the show >.< In every country they use idols but I've the sensation that in Korea this trend is getting to far...Lol, but in the end I like dramas â¤ī¸ xDDD
nanica • 30 July 2013 at 3:24 PM
@tarepanda I also like dramas that have martial arts because it just looks cool! đ Even if sometimes it's a bit silly like you said :'DI think it's sad when a drama ends in a way that they can continue with a second season, but they may not. Especially if you really liked it!@dafni You should add it! đ It's a good one. They have even made a manga of it! đ You can find it with the same name.Even though I like Korean ones a lot, I do agree with you. Sometimes I start a drama and get bored and then I star a new one. My favourites are the ones with some fighting (like martial arts etc.) involved because those dramas that are only based to the (normally) difficult love relationship between two people are quite boring. They do have funny parts but in some parts it's just irritating how stupid people can be in the dramas! -.-
dafni • 30 July 2013 at 4:05 PM
@nanica @tarepanda I'm gonna get crazy with all the things I've to watch xDDD But I listed it, one day maybe I will have enough time ^^
nanica • 31 July 2013 at 3:27 PM
@dafni I know the feeling. I had a list that had probably almost (or over) 30 series that I wanted to watch. The site I used to visit quit so the list also disappeared. âšī¸ But I'm already making a new one đ
dafni • 31 July 2013 at 3:29 PM
@nanica I've a profile on http://mydramalist.info/ ^^ And if you used Drama Crazy, it reborned as http://dramacrazy.eu/ xD
nanica • 1 August 2013 at 3:08 PM
@dafni I took a look at your profile, but only a glimpse. yeah, it's pretty much the same but you can't log in and make a list. That was the best thing about dramacrazy... :/ It was so easy to follow where you were with your episodes and series.
