"Oh, darnit! I overslept. What's my next class?" he asked himself, and pulled out his schedule. "Charms!" Wen said, pulling on his shirt and dashing out of the dorms.He rushed into the classroom, and saw Marcus. The class was about 3/4 of the way full, but there was a seat right next to him."Ah, hi Marcus!" he said, sitting down.

Flitwick asked, and called on Marcus, "What would your name be?""Marcus Talton, sir," Marcus said."Talton?" Professor Flitwick questioned, "but aren't you Gryffindor, you don't have charms class right now.""My schedule," Marcus started, but Professor Flitwick used magic to pull it from his hands."This is a Ravenclaw schedule, let me get you a Gryffindor schedule," and he hobbled out of the room, returning with a new sheet of paper."Here is you actual schedule, you are in potions, it's down in the basement," Flitwick urged him out of the room, and Marcus walked down the corridor.He got lost multiple times, and it took him ten minuets to get to class.An older man with a nice smile greeted him."You're a bit late lad, but not to worry, get yer stuff and sit with the class. I'm Professor Slughorn," said the man, and Marcus's cheeks went red.It only just occurred to him, he had the equipment for his charms class, not potions.

@ashfire@quillbunny@graceseggs potions for you too@fluffamun@tralala22In the Past:"Schedule mixup," Marcus said in response to Carla's question, "I have potions."Back to the Present:Marcus raised his hand, "Um, Prof. Slughorn sir, I forgot to bring my cauldron and books."Slughorn had a look of frustration on his face for a second, but wiped it away, "You can just go get an extra book and cauldron out of the cabinet back there," he nodded towards the front of the room.Marcus silently walked to get a spare book and cauldron, embarrassed that he had not only been the last one to class on the first day, but forgotten all of his supplies.

@ashfire@quillbunny@graceseggs@fluffamun@tralala22Marcus couldn't help but feel better when the girl came rushing into the room, he wasn't the only late one.Professor Slughorn spent the whole class talking about potions, while Marcus scribbled notes as fast as he could. At the end of class, he said, "Now, we will pick this up on Wednesday, and see which of you are able to make a Cure for Boils potion."

Rose quickly packed her notes away and put back the borrowed supplies. As she was walking out, she realized with a jolt that she didn't have a schedule. She found a fellow Slytherin first year and took a look at the parchment. She memorized the classes as well as she could before handing back the schedule.@skittlejg Any more double classes?@fluffamun@quillbunny@ashfire@tralala22

She had glasses, and icy, blue eyes that seem cruel to Marcus, even though she acted very nice. She was thin and had purple robes that seemed a little to long for her."Hello, I'm Professor Clestine, your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher," she smiled.

I'll just go to the class where they learn potions." She grinned at herself. She started running down to the basement.When she arrived, she took her wand in her hand and rushed in the class. She saw Marcus, and Rose, sitting there. Biting her lip, she sat down in a seat next to Rose and behind Marcus.

We can skip the boring and jump to the parts that stuff actually happens.Last post for the night! 😃~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Marcus had a much better time in that class, and actually enjoyed it. Not that he didn't like potions, but he was so embarrassed he wished it hadn't happened.On his way to his next class, he ran into Carla."Hey, how'd charms go?" he asked, she had been very confused earlier in the day.

Filch was the caretaker at Hogwarts. She hissed, and ran off.Knowing she'd be back with Filch any second, Marcus ran down the nearest corridor. He flung himself behind a door, and found he was in a closet. There was a small lamp on one of the shelf's, but Marcus could barely see anything."Lumos," Marcus said, illuminating his wand.He could hear Filch's feet hit the floor, racing towards him. Pat-pat-pat-pat.Marcus crawled under the bottom shelf, and sat on the floor, bringing his knees to his chest and hugging them.Something caught his attention, a brick, it was disconnected from the rest of the wall and jutted out among the others. It has symbols on it, but Marcus didn't know what they meant.Filch would be there soon. Marcus pulled and pushed the brick, it stayed in place.Filch opened the door, and his eyes went wide when he saw Marcus."U...m....y..," he stammered, trying to get words out, "You're not supposed to be in here, your coming with me!"He yelled at Marcus and yanked him by the collar.

@skittlejgRavenclaw is having history of magic right now? o.o Sorry for being not on, I don't have much time on weekdays. And yesterday was a holiday for Canada, so we went to a provincial park. D: ~~~Levina pulled out her schedule for her next class, History of Magic. She smiled. Levina then ran to her next class, still keeping her eyes on the schedule. She wanted to know what she had after. Levina then folded the schedule neatly and slipped it in her pocket. She got into class and took a seat.

He was a ghost."I guess he must know a lot about history," Marcus said, noting the fact that a history teacher would make the most sense.However, he was also the most boring teacher.

Defense against the Dark Arts went smoothly. She managed to get there on time with the proper books. Marcus made it there without trouble as well. She headed off to the Great Hall for lunch. She glanced at another first year's schedule. They had Transfiguration next. Levina carefully listened to every word that came out of Professor Binns' mouth. She was actually quite interested, writing notes in a little notepad. Despite how most people thought this class as boring, being a small little nerd of Ravenclaw helped her concentrate. Levina used a small feather pen and once in a while stopped to listen, and then continue to write. Rose had a fun time in Transfiguration. It was challenging and interesting. They had to change a match into a needle. She managed to make the match a grey-ish hue and point it slightly, but that was it. When Transfiguration ended, Rose quickly packed up. She headed outside the classroom. Just wow.I didn't see that you posted the schedules, so I just chose a random class for Rose to go to. I did Transfiguration. I followed the schedule without knowing it. Wow. I'm just really amazed at that for some reason.
