Site Glitches?

EDIT; After the site was down this issue seems to have been fixed for me. If anyone else had these issues and have been 'fixed', let me know?

I'm presuming I'm the only one as nothing else has popped up in the forums(?)

Half of the site isn't showing up for me at all, the bar that says 'Forums' and other things, (I can't remember which else it says) isn't there, but where I hover where it should be the drop down menus come up.

Also, creatures in the TC aren't even visible at all, my EC & CC symbol in the sidebar (>> there) aren't there, along with other symbols that go along with the Notification tab & Creature tab.

The banner at the top that usually has the cave and 'EggCave' written on it isn't even there, the only thing at the top of my page is an ad with a huge gap above it.

I've cleared my cache, cookies, etc and it's still the same.
Using different browsers and it's the same.
All my plugins are up to date (these never affect EggCave for me anyway)

I have no idea whats going on, anybody got any ideas on how to fix it?

The same is happening to me to. I wanted to buy a travel in the TA, and I couldn't because the code wasn't showing up.

At first I couldn't even get on EggCave, but after refreshing a couple times I got on. I can't see anything as well.

Do you have loads of writing under your headshot on the fourms as well?

It says like;

'Female Ping User In Reply Private Message View Trades' but no icons?

Hm, at least it's not my comuter, I was worried a bit then ^^;

I've been getting this too D:

I was going to buy a Sewers travel for my creature, when I realized the captcha wasn't showing up at all. I paused my adblock to see if it was the extension that was causing it when I realized that that wasn't the problem. When I enabled it again, the site became exactly of what you spoke of.

The background is a pastel color now and most icons are dead. Hovering over the tabs still work for me though, and I have no idea why. ;-;

@borgore @marie_lily Is this still happening? I know that yesterday the site was down (for a reason that hasn't been explained - yet). Was it only happening yesterday or has it been happening before?

Copy and paste all the information (except your IP address, obviously 😋) from this site: http://www.whatismybrowser.com/

It's highly unlikely too but what antivirus do you have? I know that one time Norton blocked a site that was perfectly safe, and Kaspersky for my best friend blocked/broke a lot of images.

When you see the broken images, did you try a hard refresh (CTRL+F5, not clicking the refresh button and not pressing just F5)?

@borgore I couldn't get access to the site yesterday D=
The Internet worked well for me yesterday, I went on various sites, but when I got on Egg Cave, it wouldn't let me go in and a board appeared saying that the webpage is currently unavailable (clearly not the Internet's fault xD)~

Everything's working well now though! xD
So they were probably maintaining something yesterday! 😸

I think they were doing site maintenance but we didn't get a heads-up or an explanation afterwards on the Blog. :I

(The site was definitely down according to downforeveryoneorjustme.com.)

Actually, that happened with my iPad, but when I changed the iPad, it worked again. Also, the site hasn't been as fast loading as before. ☹️

I haven't been experiencing this, but some of the pages kinda imprint on the other pages.
And the site is really slow. Even with my new Internet. My Internet is x14 faster, but this site is x3 slower

I've been kinda having that issue too, when I was online yesterday it was really slow, but it seems to be a bit quicker today, for me anyway. Is it a bit better for you? ^^

It seems that after the site went down that this problem was fixed, at least for me and a few others anyway, I presumed it was part of the reason 😋

@boregore As far as I know, EC's server had a little bit of a hiccup. This was not an issue with Egg Cave but with our hosts. I believe it's been resolved now.
