"No she just is used to Moon's company" Gracie said reassuringly. Gracie got up and sat down beside Leon. "You want to know something about there siblings" Gracie asked.

"Oh, I see. That's good, I thought that I maybe had been holding her wrong or something." Leon said with a relieved sigh. "But sure, I love to hear you tell me stuff." He said with a smile.

"Well they are from a family of 5 but it is 3 now because one was taken and one died. The one that is left is a golden wolf with sky blue eyes and her name is Rose" Gracie explained. She smiled when Leon said he liked it when she told him things. "Would you stay with me tonight?" Gracie asked with a smile.

"Poor little guys." Leon said softly with a frown. "At least the three of them have made it though. I'd be happy to stay with you tonight though." He said as his frown turned into a light smile.

"Cool. We should probably try to sleep now because well school will start probably hours from now." Gracie suggested. Then she remembered the puppies. "Well better get them back before they noticed they were gone" Gracie said as she picked up the puppies and headed back towards her wolf friends. She dropped the puppies off and noticed Rose was wide awake. "You won't tell them I was here. Will you?" Gracie asked. Rose shook her hand and wagged her tail. "Thanks" Gracie said. Then she petted the pups and headed back towards Leon. "If you want I can take you to my 'home' or my cave" Gracie asked.

Vanessa smiled. "It's pretty obvious someone likes you... You're an angel!" Vanessa shook her head. "Okay, now back to the place question. It doesn't hurt if we go to see Blaze, right? I've only seen him... Never really met him." She smiled, taking Coral's and Nova's hand. "Let's go."

She went to the new class, her long flowwing hair flowing behind her. She smiled, because she loved her schedule. She looked down at the piece of paper again.
It read,
"English
Chemistry
Art
Languages
Defensive Fighting
Algebra"
She skipped to the next class, English.

Leon smiled. "Sure, sounds good." He said to Gracie. As Leon got up, however, he heard a menacing growl and his body tensed. Then he saw a pair of golden eyes and let out a relieved sigh. "Hey Ace. I know, I'm sorry I never came back out today to see you. I've just been busy." Leon said cheerfully as the eyes continued to stare at him and Gracie.

Gracie smiled but that quickly faded away, once she heard the growl. Then Leon began to speak to someone or something called Ace. "Who's Ace?" Gracie asked as she walked over to Leon and took his hand. "He won't hurt me will he" Gracie whispered. Then she tightened her grip on Leon's hand, when she saw the golden eyes.

Leon chuckled at Gracie's reaction. "Nah, he's just a big softie trying to seem all tough." Leon reassured. Then he heard a hiss and rolled his eyes. "Okay, fine, you're very tough and scary. Now get out here before you scare my friend away." Leon said with a playful smirk on his face. Then a large bobcat stepped out of the underbrush and padded up to the pair. "This is Ace. He's been my best friend for many years. He came along with me when I came to the Academy." Leon said while he playfully ruffled the bobcat's fur.

"Well that's very reassuring." Gracie said as she loosened her grip on Leon's hand. When Ace came out of the woods and she saw he was a bobcat. "Well he is a cute tough guy like you, Leon" Gracie said as she looked up at Leon and smiled. Then she looked back at Ace and let go of Leon's hand. She was about to pet him, when Rose came bursting out from the bushes. "Rose heel" Gracie shouted, before Rose could get to Ace. Rose stopped and walked right up to Gracie. "Tell him your sorry" Gracie said sternly. Rose turned to Ace and barked. "If you want to know why I call her Rose, then you should smell her" Gracie laughed as she kneeled down and rubbed Rose's belly. "We should really get some sleep though. You can bring Ace if you want and if I show you my 'home', you can't tell anyone because only me and my wolf friends know about it" Gracie said as she stood up and looked at Leon.

Leon playfully rolled his eyes when Gracie called Ace a cute tough guy. "I think you mean mangy." Leon laughed as Ace growled at him. The bobcat calmly watched the hyper wolf pup, seeming uninterested, as Leon looked at Gracie. "Yeah, I agree. So where is this home of yours then?" Leon asked, tiredly.

"Its a surprise but first I need Ace's and your word that you won't tell any of your animal or human friends." Gracie exclaimed. Rose began to walk away, hoping no one would notice her. "Excuse me. Where do you think your going?" Gracie asked Rose. Rose stopped and went to Gracie's side. "I didn't say you had to stay but whatever" Gracie said. Then she turned to Leon and Ace and waited for their word.

Leon blinked. "Of course you have my word and I can speak for him too when I say that." He said while gesturing towards Ace. "If I ever have an alien friend though, can I tell him?" Leon joked to Gracie.

Gracie laughed. "No you can't" Gracie laughed. Then she got more serious. "Well follow me" Gracie said then she began to a walk towards a dark part of the forest. "Hope none of y'all are scared of the dark" Gracie joked as the forest got darker and darker. Then Gracie stopped and walked over to a lantern she had and turned it on. "Well we're here" Gracie said as she began to turn on her other lanterns. Then she found her cooler. "Would you like anything to drink?" Gracie asked. Rose walked into the cave and layed down on a bear skin.

Leon followed Gracie and raised his eyebrows in surprise when he saw her cave. "Wow, nice setup. How long have you been living here?" Leon asked before nodding at Gracie. "Yeah, thanks. Do you have water?" He said while glancing down at Ace, who was licking his lips thirstily. "You're fine. Go and find a stream or something, you mangy feline." Leon laughed as Ace glared over at him. "I guess I've spoiled him too much." Leon sighed as he walked over by Gracie.

"I have only been living here since I was 9. Oh and here is your water" Gracie said as she handed him his water. Gracie looked at Leon and sighed. Then she hugged him. "Thank you for today" Gracie whispered. She squeezed him one last time before pulling back. Then she walked over to Rose and kneeled beside her. "You know your parents will be worried" Gracie whispered. Rose licked her lips, signaling that she knew she would get in trouble. "Okay well just making sure" Gracie whispered as she ruffled the fur on Rose's head. Gracie stood up and looked at Leon. "I have extra blankets and pillows if you need them" Gracie said with a smile. Then she walked over to a 6 layered blanket floor and layed on it. The space she was in could take two people. Gracie grabbed her camo green comforter and pulled it over her. "If you want you could just share the bed with me" Gracie suggested.

"Wow, you've always been pretty close to the Academy then, that's convenient." Leon said as he hugged Gracie back. Then he proceeded to drink half of his water before looking over at Ace, who continued to glare stubbornly at Leon. "Fine, have the rest." Leon said with a chuckle as he handed the water over to Ace, who happily finished it off. Leon smiled at Gracie's suggestion and was about to reply when Ace let out a loud hiss. Leon looked over and rolled his eyes. "You are such a baby!" He growled at the bobcat before turning back to Gracie. "Thanks, but I don't think that would sit well with Ace here. As stupid as this sounds, I've always slept in some sort of feline form with him ever since his family got killed. So I don't want to mess with his routine too rapidly." Leon laughed as Ace shuffled his paws anxiously.

"We'll I was just asking and yea wouldn't want to do that" Gracie murmured as she turned and faced the cave wall. Rose felt Gracie needed company so she went and layed beside her. "Thank you Rose" Gracie whispered. Rose licked Gracie's nose and scooted a little closer to her. "Well we better get so sleep" Gracie whispered with her eyes closed. She dreamed of the good memories of her past but that only led to nightmares of the bad ones. Gracie woke up and let out a scream but covered it with her hand hoping no one would hear it. She got up and headed out of the cave. She ran to a clearing. "Snow" Gracie shouted. Snow came running and Gracie gave her a hug and began to cry.

Leon frowned. "Well you can't blame him, I'm the only family he has left." Leon said to Gracie before sighing. Ace smugly purred and padded over to the other side of the cave, and lied down. "Goodnight." Leon said quietly before shifting into a tiger and going over to sleep beside Ace. Later that night, Leon woke with a start and saw Gracie running out of the cave. Leon, still in tiger form, ran after Gracie's scent and came to a clearing where he saw her crying and hugging Snow. 'Grace doesn't look hurt... but why is she crying then" Leon thought to himself as he quietly observed the pair.

"Snow it happened again. I saw what I did to her again. Snow I wish I had something to replace that memory with" Gracie whispered with tears streaming down her cheeks. Then Snow sensed and smelled something so she began to growl. "Snow what is it?" Gracie asked as she pulled away from Snow. Then she looked in the direction Snow was looking in. "Leon is that you?" Gracie asked as she wiped her tears. Snow looked at Gracie suspiciously when she heard Leon's name because when she met Leon he wasn't in a good mood. "Snow go take care of your family. I can take care of myself" Gracie whispered. Snow growled and then went back to her family. "Leon I know it's you so please come out" Gracie pleaded.

Leon blinked as Snow left, surprised that she would leave Gracie alone with him. Then Leon perked his ears in an attempt to locate anything that could've hurt Gracie, but found nothing. Ace soon came bounding up beside him and Leon growled at him to stay put, not wanting the bobcat to make Gracie more upset than she already was. He then padded out into the clearing while keeping his head raised in order to keep a lookout.

Gracie smiled when Leon came out of hiding but he was cautious. "Leon Snow didn't just leave me. She is around and cautious" Gracie exclaimed. Then she walked over to Leon and put her hand on his cheek and looked him in the eyes. "We both have friends that will protect us" Gracie whispered. "I need you as a human right now" Gracie added. Then a tear slid down her cheek.

Leon sighed and shifted back to his regular self in the blink of an eye. He was about to speak when Ace gave a loud hiss from the shadows, unhappy about how easily convinced his friend was. Leon rolled his eyes. "Be quiet, Ace." Leon yelled over at the bobcat before looking back at Gracie. "Why are you crying, did something hurt you?" Leon asked quietly.

"No I hurt myself when I hurt my aunt that day and ever since that day I have had the same nightmare over and over" Gracie explained quietly. Then there was a roar and then 3 howls. "Not him again." Gracie murmured to herself as she turned in the direction of the fight.

Before Leon could finish though, Ace came sprinting past them towards the source. "Stupid bobcat! Come on." Leon said quickly to Gracie before taking off after Ace.

"You will only get yourselves killed and it is a bear named Red" Gracie shouted as she ran after Ace and Leon. As she was running she morphed into a wolf and ran past Leon. Then there was a hiss, a roar and 3 growls. When Gracie saw the fight she saw all the blood. She howled for the wolves to back off. They tried to ignore Gracie but that couldn't do it so they got off the bear. The bear roared again but it was full of pain. Gracie morphed back into a human and looked into Red's eyes. The bear layed down with a whimper. "I told you not to come here again Red but you never listen do you" Gracie said. Gracie took a step closer towards Red. "Red I will help you like I did last time if you keep your promise and you better not break it this time" Gracie said with a small laugh as she stepped closer to Red. Red rose and held his paw out to Gracie. Gracie took it in her hands and shook it. "Well Red I have a new friend that you have to be nice to while I go get healing supplies. His name is Leon and to find him just search for the smell of cat on him. Red nodded and then Gracie ran off to get supplies.

Ace arrived to see the wolves fighting a bear, and he decided not to get involved since they seemed to be in control. The bobcat continued to glare at the bear when the wolves got away from it, not wanting to risk trusting such a large creature. Leon then arrived in a panic to see Gracie shaking Red's paw. 'What in the world is going on." Leon thought as Gracie ran off. He looked over at Ace, who was now madly hissing and standing directly in front of the bear, and back at the wolves. "Why would Grace be so friendly to someone you guys don't trust at all." Leon wondered aloud as he cautiously watched Red.
