ERAGON movie vs book

ok eragon in the books he was awesome but then in the movie he looks like a farm boy who cant do anything and don't even get me started about saphira in the book no one not even eragon could control what she dose in the movie shes a mindless animal the movie is a joke the book eragon and brom traveled for months before brom died

if anyone else agrees with me say so and if they don't say so

Well..I liked both the book and the movie though the book is far more in-depth. It just seemed like they made the movie in a hurry.

I liked Eragon because he was not the typical hero and he was basically thrust into his role as a Dragon Master.

Sapphira is pretty cool too, I had no real issues but I would have liked to see a bit more dragon action and a bit more detail.
Sapphira did not seem like any "mindless animal" to me but don't forget that dragons are not going to think like humans and don't have the same reservations about things as humans do.

However it would have been nice if they had incorporated more detail in the movie from the book but maybe they'll make another movie which lends more of a insight into everything and not be so predictable.

I believe that the author thought the movie was so terrible that he actually requested for there not to be any movie sequels.

the book seems to be a fav but only 3 people have voted and @karamel I hope that there lese expires and someone beter takes it like the harry potter directors they would make a good movie 😉

@emma1897 the movie left out too many plot gaps.
i watch the movie first then i listen to the audio book.

i'm pretty sure those who didn't liked the book.
when they watched the movie liked the book 10x more

Apparently this topic has basically closed because the book is obviously better and no one has said other wise so the point of this topic is lost (not to mention no one's been posting)
