Cove Feeding Item...Mass Feed

in Site Feedback & Ideas

I had an idea and I want to present it.
I was thinking of having an item that ANYONE can buy which lets you feed either an entire cove or up to 50 creatures at once.

I was thinking that if one is short on time, for example, this item would let you feed a cove that has LOTS of creatures.

Some coves have nearly 300 creatures and thought that instead of clicking individual creatures, you can feed a group of them at once.

I don't know if this has been suggested already but here it is.

@ryu-20000 this has been suggested and it's been shot down because if it was made it wouldn't be fair and if it where made people would have alot of ec all the time and you're supposed to work hard for ec not just click a button and just get ec

Well..here would be the catch..the EC you'd normally get would be half or less yet you'd still be able to feed coves where they had lots of creatures.

@ryu-20000 sorry if this hurts your feelings but I still don't think this will work because you have to work hard for ec even though it's only half of the ec and remember to ping people when you want to tell them something on the forum

Doesn't hurt my feelings in the least. It was just a passing idea. No skin off my nose.

Thanks for the replies.

@ryu-20000 It has already been suggested and shot down a few times. I frankly couldn't care less if we only got 1 EC each time we did this for the /entire/ cove - I'm still against this.

Think of a real life family with a dozen babies. You don't just pile the food on to the table and say "eat!", do you? No, you have to feed them individually. That's similar to this. Okay, the reasons/causes may not be the same, but feeding and looking after creatures is not as easy as just clicking a few buttons. Think about the responsibility too.

Many adoptables sites are targeting kids, obviously, because a) they like online stuff and these kinds of sites seem to be a popular thing with them and b) they like knowing that they're 'grown-up' and 'mature' and 'able to take responsibility' etc. The reasons aren't limited to these two, but where would the fun or responsibility be if you could just keep them alive within a few seconds?

@karamel

I already said it is fine, no skin off my nose. Thanks for taking time to reply to me as I said but it was just a suggestion and it is no skin off my nose if it is considered a bad idea.

I wasn't looking for a lecture.
