Hey there... I registered a little while back, didn't finally decide to become active in the forums until like... day before yesterday? I had some difficulties getting my first creature hatched, which caused me to post an inquiry about ways to work with the process and try to speed it up. Lots of friendly responses, really happy with that. Due to that thread and its responses... I decided to make an introduction thread.

So! Hello~
My name is Ktanaqui - real name is Desirae. I'm nineteen years old, starting college on Wednesday (Aug. 21st) for Web Design. I'm extremely fond of animals, especially dogs. After I get my degree for Web Design, I am planning on going back for veterinary medicine. (Of course - that's like... a good six years from now.) Ah... I like to read, write, color, work with my critters, volunteer for the animal shelters in the area, and play video games.

I am a bit of a gamer. I can't claim hardcore although I probably could be if I had the time. However, I don't. Lots of other stuff to do nevermind the fact that I do enjoy being active with my animals. I have a Steam account - you can look me up by the same username. I play Star Trek Online, as far as MMOs go. Outside of MMOs, I play Age of Empires III (Complete Collection), Command & Conquer (Several; favorites are Red Alert 2, Generals, and Red Alert 3), Total War (Rome and Medieval II: Kingdoms), and Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity. There are several others that I play - but these are definitely the most notable.

Okay, anything else you can ask about. I could easily go on for a really, really long time... and well, considering the 10,000 character limit, that's no good. (Being that I've already started nearing the 2,000 character limit with just this little bit...)

OH! And as a note: I do play on other adoptable sites. Most notably, MagiStream and Valley of Unicorns.

To change your picture, go to "edit profile" located under the my stuff tab, and while there, the first setting will be "profile creature". You'll be able to change it to whatever creature you feel as though you'd like to display as your main.

Yeah, I came here from Neopets two or so years ago, so this was quite different/alike in some ways. But the people here are actually pretty awesome, unlike quite a few at Neopets (or at least where I liked to lurk...). :'D

I played on Neopets for awhile... got bored. Didn't like the lag and a lot of the systems. LOVE the mini-games though. Despite not playing any more, I still go there for the games sometimes.

The games were fun, but the new stuff they have on isn't that hot. :/ I barely go on anymore, to tell the truth. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Well, they "converted" pets so that they could wear clothes, Draiks and Krawk values deflated, they changed the navigation banner, and, uh... yeah, I /think/ that's it.

That seems absolutely silly! The point of PETS is that they are pets. They're not supposed to wear clothes like that... /going to peek/. A shirt is okay, I suppose, for warmth based reasons but...

Really, it's all kind of gone down after Nickelodeon bought the franchise. :/

I poked around. Glad I left when I did - the site sucks now. I can see that just from peeking around. It really went downhill. Oh well ☹️
