I just recently learned that my classmates nominated me for Homecoming Court! If you don't know what Homecoming Court is, it's basically Homecoming Queen for underclassmen. At least it is at out school. You get to come out in your dress at the half time show at the game and you have a little crowning at the dance! I'm really excited and I would really like to be able to represent my year. Only problem is that I have to go against some really popular girls. :/

Also, at the dance, the HC is supposed to come out and dance with their dates, but no one had asked me and I don't think anyone will tbh D:
So it would be embarrassing if I was the only one on the Court without a date

Have any of you guys ever been part of Homecoming Court or even King or Queen?
Does anyone have any good advice for me?

Also, I didn't read anywhere that we get to campaign so it's just based off how much people like you. But im antisocial so idk

Yeah, neither my 2 sisters, nor my brother ever did. I wasn't going to go either, until I got nominated. I really didn't know people even liked me. I'm way over thinking it and I feel like I got nominated as a joke though D: Mostly bc only popular girls get nominated normally, then it's the ultimate popularity test to see who wins :/
