@mightyeglantine Ooh I watched the movie when I was in middle school. It was a good movie, learned a lot about how it was back then too. So I guess the book is really good too, more detailed. Go for it. 😊

@trish (Yay~! someone didn't ignore my post 😸)
But I have heard of the movie and some(most) people I have spoken to had no idea there was a book, I tried too find the book at my school library and they didn't have it~ Also I am determined to read books before I watch a movie that was inspired by a book like I read all of the Hunger Games series so I could watch the first movie.
ERMEHGERD~!!! I LOVE THE HUSH HUSH SERIES~~!!
And thanks for replying to my forum~ 😸

YES!! I loved it so much 😊 I'm not one for boring books so it isn't boring in my opinion at all. I love the whole culture too though so if you aren't in love with the cukture I don't know how much you would like it. The book in general is really great and is written in a beautiful fashion. I wholeheartedly recommend it but it's up to you 😊 (It's weird because I was just thinking about rereading it last night)

I always say, 'see the movie first' ...
simply put, the book is always better.

this way you wont be disappointed with the movie.
take for instance, the Clan of the Cave Bear series.
Ever see the movie? YUK! Books are awesome, once you get past the first half of the first book 😱

I saw the movie. I did not read the book.
