Yes I was remembering my grade school triumphs and fails, from the smallest class to the fake grass. If you have grade school memoirs to share, share them here.Random memory. At my school we didn't have grass, so they took those spray seeds thing and sprayed the entire barren land of dirt and rocks, soon little grass shoots shot up, only they weren't grass they were weeds, our teachers would say "stay of the grass students." of course none of us did because it wasn't grass. At school we had gotten new swings, like 7 of them, but we also got a new playground duty, she had a big wart on her left cheek, and was very strict, if we were swinging we couldn't go higher than 4 inches off the ground, we became tired of the stupid rule, and worked out a system, every recess we would elect someone to be the extreme distraction, if you were voted you were to make the duty super distracted, with things that didn't really matter. We were elite and NEVER got caught. In second grade I had the tallest teacher I had ever seen, when we went to the meet your teacher day, she wasn't there! Turns out her car had caught on fire on one of the highways she had walked back to a gas station with her to huskys, rented a truck and drove to the school, by then it was too late and she ended up spending the night in her classroom.Whats your stories?@kurochi-akuma@ilovedoctorwho@lia@safikei@bluebelle

@rojoqueen Random ping? o:Wow, those are some pretty crazy memories of grade school. xDLet's see...I had a recess aid in 3rd grade who used to bring a huge bag of yarn and would teach us all how to knit and crochet during recess. It was pretty fun. She was a really nice lady~ ❤️I also would dig tunnels in the tan bark...cuz I just was that kind of kid! xD We'd build huge forts under the slides and stalk out people to chase when we were bored. It was mostly the boys. They were fun to tease, though I'm sure they hated it.School lunches were the best! Especially pizza day. 😊 But the line was so freakin' looooooong. If you didn't get there early, you would be waiting 15 minutes of your lunch time in line and only had 10 minutes to eat your food. Also, I had an art teacher who would bring his guitar to work and sing us songs while we worked on art projects. But yea...good times. Hehe.

@kurochi-akuma Lol we would chase people too, except when the boys in 4th grade chased us it wasn't so fun anymore. On pizza day for us, we would get candy for taking the pizza boxes to the trash bin, only we didn't take them to the trash we would use them to play sled dog, someone would sit on the pizza box, while the other people pulled it with a jump rope.@ixy1209@sony@neoncolor

@rojoqueen Mine? Grade school, hemm... I don't remember much (Lol, because of my awesome memory, my friends termed it "Goldfish memory".) Anyway, that's beside the point. The only random memory I remember right now, is the time my peers and I got locked in our French class. It was a very funny experience, watching my friends freak out while they form plans on how to escape. Then my teacher scared us more by saying that we should get comfy 'cuz we might be spending the night there xD Then 30 minutes afterwards our corridor supervisor somehow managed to pry open the door (the handle was broken, and it automatically locked .-.) I don't think I've ever seen my classmates happier 😋

@rojoqueenThere's only one memory I care to put on right now.I was in about the 3rd or 4th grade (YEARS ago), and it was recess. It was a sunny day, perfect temperature. There was nothing special about it.Except me. I decided that for the first time I wanted to play soccer with the guys since a few girls had joined in that day. Normally I played with a girl named Laura--good friend who came over a lot, but now I'm not sure I considered her a best friend even though I was *her* best friend for sure.I told her I wanted to play soccer. She didn't want to, but I told her it would be okay if she played by herself since I want to play with everyone. She never WANTED to play with other people. She threw a temper tantrum. She screamed and cried and kept screaming, "LIZZY, NO! LIIIIZZZZZYYYYY NNNNOOOOO!!!"I didn't play soccer that day so I could appease her.(Please don't think I was a jerk. I ALWAYS played with her and just wanted to play with other kids for once)

@kurochi-akuma Our janitor, we called her grandma, she swore allot, and was very funny, one time there was stuff the wall that just happened to be brown, and grandma said "Who S*** on the wall!?!" and whenever someone left their lunch tray she would let you have the chocolate milk off of it.@lia lol That reminds me of the time, when we were playing spanish hide and go seek in the entire school, My friend brook and I got the bathroom, we thought it was worst place until we got their she sat above the toilet seat while I stood on the tank lid thing, and the teacher came in and said "Is anyone from my class in here?" we didn't answer, after she left we were in their for about thirty minutes until we decided to come back.@ixy1209I pity you ixy, *pats back* I know how you feel..

@rojoqueen Hmm.. Let's see.. I had this really wise and funny teacher as my homeroom teacher who always liked to joke around. No matter what we asked, he knew the answer to it. I bet there isn't a single country in the world where he hasn't been yet. He really loved traveling. The most common sentence he said was: "I have a gastric ulcer, which is 10 cm long. 20 cm of it is devoted to you". I remember racing the exact same teacher a few times. We wanted to see which one of us would reach the classroom the fastest. While I played fair, he took every possible shortcut on the way, and all the other students just watched us silently with hilarious faces. There was a plastic skeleton in the room behind our class. The students kept fighting over whether it was a female or a male skeleton so when they named the thing, it had both a female name and a male name. One time two girls from my class were swinging during a break time and the whole point of it was to swing as fast as they could and then jump as far as possible. One of them said: "This is how you do it!" and jumped. Then everyone heard a loud ripping sound and noticed that her jeans got ripped apart. She stood against a wall with tears in her eyes for the rest of the day until a teacher let her go home to get a new pair of jeans. Our school had one weird teacher as well but he was surprisingly cool. He took my whole class to a dog show. That was something. I guess I was able to remember a few. xD Funny or not.

@ixy1209 I was always kind of Laura; I'd find one person with whom I clicked and would become incredibly jealous and/or upset if she played or talked with someone else. Due to past experiences, I never felt I could just join in; I wouldn't be wanted. Only that one particular friend would ever want anything to do with me.It's pathetic and embarrassing to admit, but yup. That was me. Only sometimes I'd prefer to be by myself. Of course, that made me a target occasionally.I don't mean to make my childhood sound like some horrible time in my life, haha. It wasn't. I had friends. It was just harder for me to relate to people on a social level. I wanted to talk about one thing, but they wanted to talk about something else. This carried into high school as well. In grade school, kids thought this made me "retarded" I guess. I don't know. But then guess who was helping these same kids with their Literature and Language Arts homework years later? HahahahahaAnyway, happier childhood memories:Beyond the playground, there was this giant maze of cattails. Two of my friends and I would sneak into it sometimes. One time, we stumbled upon a nest of baby birds--three, actually. We each "claimed" one and named it; I named mine Fable!Every Friday was usually pizza day, but sometimes they would have these heavenly things called Dunkers. Basically, they were just cheesy bread that came with marinara sauce, but they WERE SOOO GOOD. My friend and I would eat any that people didn't want. xD Of course, you had to get to the cafeteria in time if you wanted the good cheesy ones and not the nasty taco flavored ones.Fall Festival! I went to a Christian school where no one really celebrated Halloween. Instead, my school held this annual event called Fall Festival, where they would set up games and give you tons of candy at each one (there were at least 30). I honestly liked it better than trick-or-treating!

@metaphor*Paps Your Shoulder* Like Laura, huh? Well, I think she was a bit more obsessed than you since apparently she called my house when I wasn't there. My sister picked up, and said I wasn't there. Turns out Laura said, "I knew it!! You're trying to keep Lizzy and I apart!! I'll kill you!!"My sister still hates that girl--even though she's never heard of her again--and still thinks I make friends with some pretty freaky people.

@ixy1209Okay yeah...I was never quite like that haha. xD My mom would have to really beg me to call friends, as the thought of a parent or sibling answering just freaked me out. I'm still very awkward about making phone calls. Meh.😋
