Sighing she shook her head and went to sit down without any food. The only food available just had to meat, quite unlucky for a vegetarian such as herself. Pulling her hair back into a chignon, she reached out her fingertips, causing a plant on a windowsill about to die to perk up and grow and stretch her way. As her long fingers embraced the darkening plant, it brightened up and seemed to age backwards (Like King Theoden and Benjamin Button!). The corners of her mouth lifted and she leaned back, closing her eyes and drifting into sleep where she lived happily with her guinea pigs, a halcyon and satisfying life.Still quite agitated, Jessamine was tense and ready to break someone's nose if they said a single word to her. Walking along the sidewalk, her combat boots (www.polyvore.com/womens_military_ladies_combat_army/thing?context_id=92963362&context_type=collection&id=88828846) collided with the ground as she stomped to a old diner and threw open the door. Her gray, narrowed eyes were ablaze with fury, now looking like flaming ashy coals. As she grabbed a hamburger and sat down at a deserted table, she slammed her hand against the table in anger. But now, she didn't know what she was angry at, Jess was being her dramatic self.Taking a bite from the dark burger, the furious girl gagged and spit it out. "What the h--- is this ---t?" she wondered quietly, tossing the tasteless food into the trash. She noticed the others with a woman and an old man and went to join them reluctantly, glaring at anyone who even glanced at her. "So, old man, who the heck are you?"Alys was close enough to hear everything the other people said so she didn't move, only half-dreamed and half-listened.(Sorry my posts are so short!!!!)

@skittlejg Opening one sparkling eye, Alys looked Derrick up and down, trying to remember him. "Of course!" she smiled brightly and a gust of wind pushed the plant aside that had been laying on a seat. She gestured for him to sit down and smiled again. "You're name is... Derrick?" she guessed, trying her hardest to remember.

Taking a bite out of it, she scowled. 'Eugh, it tastes ugly too.' She thought. Looking around, she saw an empty table close to the one that the previous people were gathered around (meaning the other characters in this RP). The table the others were at seemed to be a bit more crowded for her own likes. Sitting down, she took a nibble at her so called 'dinner'. ""Hey, listen up CHICO," She heard a boy shout. Oh man, this was gonna be good. "My family died, because of a vine. And I'm p-retty sure you're "gardener" couldn't so it either. Or the best gardener on the world." She snickered. A vine, how amusing. A vine that took out more than 7 billion of the world's population. A vine that tortures its' hosts to the brink of insanity. A vine that destroyed and scarred the minds of all beings living. 'Funny how it's like I'm the only one with no idea what is going on other than the fact that we're fighting for survival. Funny how I don't even care...' She thought, and looked over her shoulder. '...much.'

Getting hungrier, he walked over to the so called "kitchen" and opened the refridgerator. There was a half eaten box of milk, and some moldy crackers. Not knowing what to take, he picked up the moldy crackers and gobbled them down, thinking of the roast turkey he used to have, and how he needed to eat moldy crackers for survival. Sitting down in an empty table except for a girl, he waved and ate.

@pbarr @tralala22 @skittlejg Alys nodded at Rhizo and said, "Hi, I'm Alys!" Sticking out her hand for him to shake, she beamed brightly at him, not remembering ever meeting him. As Richie walked over and began to go on about being a cousin of the prince and arguing with Rhizo, she used some of the air surrounding them to gently lift her and she floated up over the table. Her smile grew fainter and wind nudged her out the door. (She remembered about the vine and bad stuff that happened.)The breeze dropped her and she hit the ground, walking slowly with a confused but angry look on her usually bright face. As she began to look pale, a pellucid tear stained her rosy cheeks and she sat down on a street bench, hard. Covering her face with her hand, wet drops streamed down. She sat in the silence, her face dripping but not a single sob escaped her mouth and her trembling fingers reached her neck, grasping a locket she had forgotten was there. Now sniffing quietly, Al popped it open and the two pictures met her eyes. A warm-looking lady with kind green eyes, just like her own with her arm over a girl's shoulder. No, not a girl, it was Alys. As a small cry of sadness left her lips, she looked at the other picture. Her two baby guinea pigs sitting on the head of a grumpy and old German shepherd. By this time she was fully crying and all the memories were flashing in her head (well, not really all of them, only the bad ones where her family died and she lost everyone/everything).

She saw a note that said 'Dinner for what's left of the human race, just down the block!' "This sounds fun" Mary said to herself. Then she sifted into a German Shepherd and followed the scent off hamburgers. Then as she got closer to the diner she could hear crying. She shifted back into a human and looked to see who it was, it was Alys. 'Poor Alys' Mary thought. Then she got closer to Alys and sat beside her, while Mary was sitting there, she shifted into Rocky and crawled into Alys lap. 'Please don't cry' Mary thought as she squeaked to get Alys attention.

He had waved, then gone back to eating. Her hood shadowed over her semi-dark eye bags outlined which her white sclera and burgundy eyes as she took another nibble. "Hey," She said back. "How's life thus far?" Her right hand went into her pants pocket. Who knows, after all this, anyone can become like the crazy substitute teacher that had chased her out of the sorry school.

All sadness was pushed to the back of her mind temporarily and she petted the guinea pig. "At least I have you," she said, suddenly oblivious to the fact that Rocky was actually dead. Standing up with Rock held firmly in her arms, she stood and walked back to the motel, not wanting to face the others.

Mary and Alys arrived back at the Motel and Alys took Mary to her room. 'Okay. Hopefully she will fall asleep and then I will be able to shift back' Mary thought. Then she waited for the perfect moment to but it seemed to never come around so Mary ended up falling asleep.

He left, the door swinging behind him, and went to his room, quite exhausted. Heaving himself onto his bed, he slowly felt himself falling asleep.

The power has run out.""But it's the end of November, we won't survive winter," Derrick was horrified at the thought."Well have to hunt the few remaining animals, and get water from the river just east of the town," he said, looking very worried."Oh, so we have no more water either!" Derrick snapped."Yes, I'm afraid you see...""And how are we supposed to bathe?"Suddenly, Mr. Brown realized that he should not be cowering from Derrick, but the other way around. The glass from a light on the ceiling bent into a wicked dagger and flew into his hands."Now listen here, this is not my fault, and I will NOT have some spoiled kids complaining!" he said, pointing the dagger at Derrick, and keeping a hand pointed at June, as if ready to blast her and stab Derrick at the same time."What's going... MR. BROWN, leave these kids alone!" said Smythe hurrying down the stairs as fast as his old, arthritic knees would allow. And then in a hushed tone, directed only towards Mr. Brown, he said, "Now listen, we do not need this violence, and you may think you are in charge around here, but that could come toppling down on top of you any day. Be wise about your actions, Arthur, don't do something you'll regret."And with that, he swooped up the stairs, not looking back at anyone.

@cutebirdy79 As Mary drifted off to sleep, Alys found herself feeling a bit tired as well. With a large yawn, she placed Mary in a makeshift cage and lay down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her eyelids shut and she was falling asleep.Alys did stuff and then went back to the Motel and slept. (So descriptive, I know x3)

@skittlejg @hayz @ilovedoctorwho @pbarr @tralala22 Mary woke up inside a cage and saw that Alys was asleep so she shifted into a squirrel monkey and opened the cage. She hopped to the ground and shifted back to a human, then she silently left the room and went to the lobby. When Mary got down to the lobby, she noticed it was freezing and dark, except for the light outside. 'The power's out so no light except for in the morning or fire and no warmth except for the sun's rays or blankets' Mary thought. Then she began to shiver so she shifted to a wolf with a thick coat.
