The Enchanted Forest

Long ago in a land mostly forgotten and a time of great magic, an old sorcerer sealed a mystical Forest from our world. Away from corruption and war, this hidden oasis became a sanctuary for those of magical origin.

Now your probably wondering what this has to do with you, well.....upon awakening this morning you find yourself in a strange forest away from your former home. A strange Stone boulder which so happens to have a foreign language-that you are able to read- explains that all of you have a magical core, enabling you to come here. In exchange for helping restore the magical barrios and help protect the inhabitants of the forest from evil attacking forces, you shall receive what you most truly desire.

-No god modding, 5 magical abilities for each, keep in mind that we all at first know nothing of our own magical gifts.

Each of use fight evil sorcerers/sorcerers that attack the Enchanted Forest, you can be evil or good. You can help or adventure on your own/with friends. There are magical animals, plants and areas of this giant forest that players my face/befriend.

Basically its about how you want it to turn out for your character, mainly most do as instructed by the stone -in their own way- to get what they most want (to go back o=home, fame, riches)
but others can stray and make their own tribe, adventures, attempts to get home, ect

@blackfawn Okay, I'll join. Is this anything like the Lord of the Rings, because I don't know why, but I'm really imagining it like that. Also, what time period is this, do they have electricity?

Name: Araglas Ostoher
Gender: Male
Personality: Araglas is hard to describe. He can be fierce, and brave, but is still kind, and wants to do what is right. He isn't afraid to fight, but he will never do it for no reason. He can get easily annoyed, but tries to stay friendly as long as you do too.
Appearance: Araglas is long and slender. He walks smoothly, and can dodge his way out of any situation. His thin body isn't very well muscled. His face is sharp and thin, giving it the appearance of a bird, and his black hair is streaked with grey from age.
History: Araglas was born, his father had been killed by his mother, who was a sorceress. She would have killed him too, but he turned out to inherit her magical abilities. He left home at the age of sixteen, and hasn't seen his mother since.
Magical Ability's: Ability to control fire, ability to control water(and ice), perfect aim, resistance to extreme temperature, teleportation
Talents: Throwing things?, magic, dodging attacks

@skittlejg Awesome glad to have you in the group, kind of like that but with more character free choose. The time period is now in the 2010 range but the forest is ancient, each person wakes up with what they usually have with them (lighter, backpack, ect)

Name: Eva E. Emerys
Gender: Female
Personality: As a natural nurturer Eva loves to help care for animals and children. loyal, friendly and open minded Eva usually tries to understand every person she meet before judging. Protective and a little headstrong she can get into trouble lot.
Appearance: Eva has medium wavy red hair, green eyes, tanned skin, is short for her age (mistakes as to be younger then her age). wears black gloves, jeans, warm short sleeved shirt with a fluffy hoodie/jacket.
History: Eva grew up in a shady area of her town, learning to fight to protect those who she cherishes, having seen her mother use magic in secret, Eva only practices magic for healing or protection. Being of magical descent her father and most of her family besides her mother shunned her. After the death of her mother Eva was left all alone, having only small jobs to keep her alive Eva live day to day trying to do her best with what she has.
Magical Ability's: Healing magic (can not bring dead back to life), Transfiguration of things and shape shifting into any animal (both have a limit of time and power)
Talents: Can befriend most creatures, has good instincts and adaptable (can make basic things, shelter, camp fire, nets knife/shanks)
Other: Not good at hiding, unlucky at times and cant lie to some ones face (eye contact and face gives away her truth/emotions)

Gender: Male
Personality: Quiet, Reserved, Kind, It is hard to anger him but when he does get angry you better run~
Appearance: Wears a black trench coat with black pants and black converse. Seneca has emerald green eyes and very pale skin, I can't describe his hair xD http://spf.fotolog.com/photo/31/10/127/incon/1221760579408_f.jpg he wears a ring on his ring finger that was given to him by his bestfriend and a silver wolf necklace he got from his mother.
History: Seneca grew up in a small country town in the middle of Arkansas usa, he has 4 siblings, 3 sisters and 1 brother, his mother was very unstable and his father was never unknown, Seneca was always interested in Natural and has mastered stealth because he loved observing animals.
Magical Ability's: Shape shifting and can create force fields as well as communicate with animals
Talents: Seneca is very Agile and has great balance, Due to his rural upbringing Seneca can identify many different wild plants and animals
Other: Seneca has very long pointed fingernails and pointy teeth. //EDIT// Seneca is also of Elven descent and has a pet ferret he takes everywhere with him the ferret is all White and named Naoi.

Name: Sioux Revillin

Gender: Female

Personality: Quite shy and timid to new people, although sometimes she sticks her head in places she shouldn't be in. Despite life itself, she still manages to keep up a small, yet cheerful, smile as an actor. Not quite artistic, but still enjoys drawing.

Appearance: Sioux is a very short girl, only 5 feet. She is 14 years old. She has long dark brown hair that flows to the end of her scapulae. She always wears a short cape like article of clothing, covering her shoulders (because it's comfy, and it also keeps her warm!) . Beneath she wears sleeveless tops. She wears a skirt that reaches up to just before her knees. Her shoes are just plain black and white converses.

History: She was adopted into a loving family at the age of 3. Two years later, her brother was adopted, only to die along with their mother in a car accident. Both Sioux and her father have been trying hard to piece together the broken pieces of the others in her family. Her and her father seem to be the only smiling beings in her whole family, even if the smiles were nothing but fake.

Magical Ability(s): To erase others' memories, either temporarily or 'permanently'. The latter takes more energy than she has on hand as of now. The memory can be regained by either her lifting the block or being triggered by an event or item. It would need a more powerful force or trigger to bring back permanently erased memories though. She can also take and give energy, like healing one person only to have her catch the sickness/feel the pain/get bruised/etc and vice versa. This can be done in under 3 minutes, and will have her rub at the wound for her to heal/take.

Talents: She's really good at deceiving others with her play on words and performance.

*start*

At first the only sense you had was sent, warm spring day. The sent of wild flowers, woodland and a strange tint of something more...wild. A few seconds pass until you can clearly hear your surrounding, the voice of the wind whispering through the leaves mix with the songs of mysterious creatures you have yet to know of. Finally your eyes open to reveal a bright new world, a great forest from ancient times surrounds you and now your suspicions are conformed...you have not idea where you are.

Eva's eyes flutter open but quickly close do to the bright light. Confused and wary, she slowly move to a crouching position. After a little while, not feeling any immediate threat from this new environment she soon walks over to a rather large bolder. Running her hand over the strange markings, she gasps in shock when the shapes and figures change into her very own language. "What in the world is going on?" Eva whispers unknowingly out loud.

Seneca sits up feeling grass on his hands and his hair undone. He stands and fixes his hair then notices a girl, who looks to be quite young but still quite experienced in life. But what is she doing he wonders, It seems she is staring at a rock. @blackfawn

Feeling eyes on her she turns to find two green eyes staring at her. Instinctively backing up but taking a chance, Eva says "Hello, My name is Eva, who are you?". Known to most in her town, Giving ones name can be both a sign of peace and testing. Eva's mother once told her that every name hold power and should be protected in order to keep safe.
The person in front of her looked Elven or at least what she though elven would look like. Wise and an air of nature were also shown through his being, suddenly curious she toke a step forward.

The woman spoke! Although at first he didn't understand he soon realized she had given him a name. "I am Seneca, Nice to meet you~" he said while extending a hand. The woma-- Eva seemed kind and open minded. Seneca began noting aspects such as the gloves she wore, the vivid color of her hair and the way she smelled of grass.

As Seneca extended his hand towards her, Eva slowly began to understand his words. Taking his hand in a hand shake, she smiles up to him. His pale skin and dark hair were shining from the bright sunlight shining through the forest trees. His ring had a strong sense of care coming from it as she accidently grazed it in the hand shake.

"Nice to meet you too Seneca. Would you happen to know were we are? I just woke up here and am afraid I haven't the slightest clue."

Eva's hands feel firm hinting towards a knowledge of how to use them. Seneca was slow to make sense of her statement. Then it hit him, Where are we? Why are we? "I do not know where we are, It seems you woke slight before me though." Seneca took a look around for the first time which was very unusual for him. They were standing on the edge of a large clearing, on one side there was a large boulder on another there was a large tree and on the other two were more and more trees. "I may not know where we are Eva but it feels like I am meant to be here."

He was meant to be here, Eva could sense the magic of these grounds react to his, positively as if encouraging he on. A few moments in trying to recall what had happened before awakening Eva spoke softly "Before awakening did anything strange occur to you?"

The lull of sweet bird call still easing her worry aside Eva moved towards the stone again "Seneca, can you read this too?"

*To those of different time and place, I give my word to bestow each of your greatest desire in the exchange for protection. This Enchanted Forest holds a vast number of secrets and power which may be pursued by the likes of the dark ones. Restore balance and peace in this place and you shall be rewarded. A word of caution, for though this forest may look wonderful good in nature let appearances not fool you, for there are many danger that lurk though out its domain.* (so says the giant rock)

It was really strange being in a unknown place (which was rare for Seneca) and meeting this interesting woman who seemed to know him. Trying to recall was useless Seneca couldn't remember anything except that he had been protecting a sleeping fox kit in the woods because it's mother had ran away clearly distressed "I can't remember much but what I do remember doesn't add up, and Yes, I actually can understand the text on the rock. It reminds me of a series of strange characters my mother drew everywhere before she was taken to an institution." the meaning of the text shook Seneca to his core. "People thought my mother was crazy, so did I. She would ramble about the day when I would be needed, I never understood her meaning so I just brushed it off, But to think she was actually right!" the air of the area seemed to change as this statement left his lips.

The sift in energy and Seneca's words brought some memories back of Eva's own mother before her death "I am sorry to have brought about sad memories of your mother, she most have been gifted with wise-knowledge for her to have know of this future event."
Eva turns to Seneca but glowing eyes catch hers, suddenly a strange creature walks out of a bush near by. The animal which resembled a giant naked mole rat; sightlessly it looked around before digging a hole and vanishing.
"well that's something you don't see everyday" Eva said after a few minutes, still staring were the creature was last seen.

"It's fine, My mother never told me who my father was, but she received weekly letters that she would read over and over and over again. I read one once, but my mind wasn't able to make any sense of it. The speak of another world, it confused me." Seneca replied. A very large creature with small eyes, huge front teeth, and wrinkly pinkish gray skin emerged from the forest brush to the right of them. It smelled of fresh soil and feces. The creature which Seneca has decided was a large Naked mole rat which he had seen in books soon burrowed into the soft ground next to the brush. "I sure hope everything isn't bigger that average in this 'world'." Seneca exclaimed jokingly.

Personality: kind and a girly girl, can be a bit dim sometimes

Appearance: a 17 year old girl with long bleach blonde hair and hot pink contacts, has pink hearts painted on her nails, very pretty, she wears very short white shorts and a grey and white striped tank top with hot pink shoes

History: her mother is a nail artist but really never has time for Kat, her dad is a scientist and she rarely ever sees him because he is always traveling around the world

Magical Ability's: she can influence true love (and happiness)

Talents: she has a very good skill at making people and creatures like her

Other: after a while in the magical forest she will meet a pegasus and once she does she will start traveling with it. When she transfered into the forest she was wearing a heart locket. the locket has something to do with her magical origin but Kat doesn't know what. in her pocket there is a heart pen, when she clicks it, it turns into a sword with a pretty heart handle

Araglas woke up in a forest, a slight wind swept through the very green foliage. He stood up, reaching with his long fingers for the leaves in the tree above.

He heard talking, maybe these people knew where he was.

"Hello," Araglas said, coming upon two girl talking in the middle of the forest. "Oh, what's this?" he asked as his attention was diverted to the stone, he mumbled it's words under his breath.

Upon finishing that statement another man walked out from behind a few bushes, Seneca stepped back instinctively and looked at Eva(@blackfawn) for any sign of a reaction or any recognition. The man spoke, he said Hello, but he isn't paying attention now. "Hello, I am Seneca." he stated, it became apparent this world was definitely not normal.

As the world faded back in, Sioux awoke with a start. Her hair tickling her neck, she pulled herself upright and looked around. She spotted a few other persons, but most eye catching of all, was the glowing boulder seemingly in the middle of all the commotion. Like a buffering video with choppy frames, the glowing glyphs seemed to shake before her eyes, changing its shape slightly before reverting abruptly back into it's original state. Gasping, she pulled her hands over her eyes. Peeking out from the slits from between her fingers, she let her hands fall to her cape-like article of clothing, almost like a shawl around her shoulders. Fumbling with the ends, she looked around once more. Everyone else seemed occupied with their own conversations.

Seneca was interested by this new man, His most interesting feature had to be his hair. The way the streaks contrasted against the black of his hair was astounding. The slight wind that swept through the small clearing brought an very familiar feeling, it brought the feeling of a happy person. Seneca looked behind him a ways away and saw another figure, a young girl sitting on the ground fiddling with strings from a cape looking thing.

Personality: she can sometimes come off as a tough mean girl but really she is sweet and caring.
Appearance: long straight auburn hair and emerald green eyes. Usually always wears a pair of skinny jeans, a loose t-shirt, a pair of black sandals and a pair of black fingerless gloves. Is 5'3" and 15 years old.
History: Xenia never knew or saw her parents. She grew up on the streets and was always nice with the citizens. One Day, a citizen 'adopted' her and took her home with him and he has taken care of her ever since.
Magical Ability's: can change her appearance(like the color of her eyes, hair, skin or lips) and super speed.
Talents: is good at people not being able to recognize her and has good hearing.
Other: has a pet liger(tiger-lion mix) named Magnus.
