So I guess the trading worked out perfectly?

This has never happened to me before, so I guess there's just a small glitch with your computer.

And what do you mean by "I could not"? ._. Did an error page come up? Did your page freeze? Did it lead to a blank page? Was there no 'Accept' to click on?
