How did seed collecting work last year?

Will it be something where people who don't have the opportunity to be on much still have an opportunity to get all the creatures?

I wasn't on egg cave last year, but I just want to know because I'm busy a lot but also really want to participate and be able to get the creatures~

@faerie_eclair_mallow @icymuffin pretty much covered it here.

Basically, when you feed creatures, you have a chance of getting a seed. You can trade these seeds in for LEs and travels. You could also talk to Edgar, a Grubbug, and certain words would make him spill some seeds. 😉

You might have some trouble getting lots of seeds so you may have to trade with someone. D:
