Halloween Fair bug?

Alright. I went to the Halloween Fair, and I went to the Donations booth [The one with the Blobbart]. I clicked the thing that said 'Get Prize'. I clocked it, and got 5 seeds. BUT. The page started refreshing over and over. I exited out of the page. I went and fed some creatures [Got 2 more seeds], then I went back to the Halloween Fair, and I lost the 5 seeds. Now I only have the two seeds.

Also, when I was feeding, the creatures that I got the seeds on had 'errors' on them, and I couldn't get back to the page.

I'm using Chrome, and I never have had problems like this.

Is this happening to anyone else?

@quinn Not sure about the first one, although if the "Play again in x minutes, y seconds" gets down to 0 minutes and 0 seconds, it refreshes.

By 'errors', do you mean database errors? I got some when I went to play all the games. I think the site is a little laggy from the traffic and all the games being played.

What 'errors' do you mean? If possible, could you get a screenshot?

I'm using an OOOOOLD version of firefox currently, I'm getting the page refresh (and a headache) on the OD, MS, and DD pages. Between the flickers I can see 'play again in 0 minutes 0 seconds'... (Going back a page in the history seems to work but the answer still chucks up the refreshing page... )

Opening the page again doesn't help... I now can't play the games I closed down before

Haven't had any seeds from feeding yet, but I feel like I am having a lot more trouble loading pages than usual (I was attributing it more to possible lag though)

I'll try it later and a more recent version of firefox if I can and see if the pages have fixed themselves on the other

@karamel Yeah, uh, the Play Again thing just refreshes again and again, as soon as it's done loading.

I think that's what it was. :/

@gatheringrosesinsnow The games are meant to refresh once it reaches 0 minutes, 0 seconds. 😉

"I now can't play the games I closed down before"--do you mean you can't open the games you've just closed? e_e;; (I'm about to head to bed so my brain is a little mushy right now. xD)

@quinn Did it come up with a mainly blank page, EC's logo and something along the lines of "a database error has occured"? (And something like "no need to report, Egg Cave Staff has been notified"?)

@karamel Yes. :| But it happened about 12 times, but it's not happening anymore, thankfully.

@karamel - Oh I meant that it was flicking through to the refresh screen. They're 'working' again after closing it down for a bit and then opening them again -and then it's refreshing after playing.

Wonder if the countdown might be out though - they're all saying 0 minutes 0 seconds immediately after they've been played and are reloading constantly

*facepalm* edit - I completely forgot this version of browser does NOT refresh to a new page, I have to do it manually but that also could be part of the problem.

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? Your browser could be displaying an outdated time.

edit: @quinn The problem might actually be site-wide; seen a few people having the same problem as you.

@quinn I am getting the same refreshing error as you guys. Sure is a pain in the butt and the count downs arn't working when I go to other pages..

On my phone, I get the page refresh bug, and the countdowns don't actually count down.

On my computer, I'm fine.

@karamel That is exactly what is happening to me. The page keeps refreshing so sometimes, it's hard for me to play...
