The Cyanade

Many years ago, when the world was born, the People above created genetically engineered humans. But before that, they experimented...They created strange creatures, who resembled humans, but could shapeshift or morph into a different creature. Though they had these abilities, they could only morph into things they saw.

Sadly, the People did not think the experiments were made to be on earth, so after a few days on earth they were all terminated. All except a few, that is.

They were called the Cyanade.

For centuries, these escaped experiments hid on the other side of the world. For centuries, humans ruled. Centuries later, these experiments came out. The government seem to suspect things, but a group of willing humans want to protect them.

Moon has long silvery blue hair and silver eyes that look like moons, thats how she got her name. She carries a pocket knife around.

Truman has auburn hair that curls around his ears and he has short bangs. His eyes are a chocolate brown. He is really honest and true so the name Truman caught on.

His name is Victor because he always wins at things. He has short blonde hair and light green eyes. He is a hunter of Cyanades because he thinks one killed his sister but they just made her one of them and his sister is Moon but he doesn't know it yet.

Liz stretched her calf as she slumped over in her bed. She could feel the morning calling to her, and it seemed like an average day. Then. She slipped on some sort-of clean clothes and, grabbing a granola bar, she headed out to school.

Lilianna woke up and sat up. She stretched and yawned. Her back hurt from sleeping in a tree all night. Then she climbed to the top of the tree and looked around.

Jake prowled the woods. He has a lasso over his shoulder and a gun at the ready, just in case he came across a cyanade.

"Good morning" someone whispered into Moon's ear and she smiled at their voice. "Good morning, Truman" Moon whispered to him. Then Truman helped Moon stand and they walked outside. "So what's for breakfast?" Moon asked Truman. Truman's hand ran up Moon's thigh and the covered her eyes. Moon shivered and smiled at the touch of affection that Truman had given her. "Its a surprise" Truman whispered into Moon's ear, then he removed his hands from Moon's and walked in front of her. Moon grabbed Truman's hand because she had always been afraid of forest because she watched a hunter kill her best friend, Lily. Truman squeezed Moon's hand for reassurance and then led her around the trees and bushes.

Victor had been following some young hunter for about three days know and wondered if the young lad had found anything. Victor silently stepped out from the trees in front of the hunter and smiled at him. "Find anything, lad?" Victor asked.

Liz walked down the street, feeling today to be a regular day. Though she didnt know it yet, things were already in action...

"Nope. Just some footprints. I'm following them right now." Jake said shrugging. He scanned the ground and began to follow the footprints again.

Lilianna climbed down. Then, she heard footsteps. She quickly looked at the tree and shapeshifted into one. She didn't dare breathe.

"Oh okay" Victor said as he continued to follow the boy. "So you got a name? Mine is Victor" Victor added.

Moon and Truman were still walking through the forest, when they heard footsteps and Truman shifted into a tree and Moon just stiffened up and was froze in place. 'This is why I don't like the woods' Moon thought. Then she began to look around for something to shift into but she was so panicked that she couldn't decide.

Victor decided to walk in front of the boy and followed the footprints. When he passed through some trees, he saw a girl that reminded him of his sister. 'It can't be her but if this young hunter tries to shot I won't let him' Victor thought. Then he took a step closer towards the girl.

Moon saw a man that reminded her of her brother step through some trees, he looked nice until she saw his gun. When the man took a step closer towards her, Moon flinched and took a step back.

"Yeah. I'm Jake. Nice to meet you Victor." Jake said absent-mindedly. He pointed his gun at the trees. He had just seen a girl. "Show yourself now!" He commanded. "Or I'll have to shoot!" He said, readying his gun.

Lilianna stayed perfectly still in her tree form and watched the two men.

"Nice to meet you Jake" Victor shouted in Jake's direction. Then he turned his attention back to the girl. "Show me your eyes" Victor whispered to the girl, once he noticed the girl looking at her feet.

Moon felt safe when she heard the man's voice so she looked up and into his eyes. Then memories of her once human life flash before her eyes. "Victor" Moon whispered.

Victor was surprised to see that the girl had the same silver eyes has his sister and then when the girl said his name, he knew that this was his sister. "Moon" Victor whispered. Then he walked up to Moon and then wrapped his arms around her. "So how old are you now?" Victor asked.

"I'm 15 and how old are you?" Moon asked as she hugged Victor for the first time in 13 years.

"I'm 20" Victor replied. Then he remembered Jake was still hunting and he would shot Moon if he saw her. Victor looked at Moon. "You need to run because I am not alone" Victor replied.

Moon nodded and then grabbed onto a branch on the tree next to her. Then the tree turned into a boy and intertwined his fingers with Moon. "This is Truman" Moon told Victor. Truman nodded and then gave Victor a smile. "I'll take care of her" Truman told Victor. Then he pulled Moon through the woods, away from the hunters and the woods, all the way to civilization.

Victor watched as they left. Then he turned at walked towards Jake's direction. "So you found something" Victor said with a sly smile, once he saw that Jake was pointing his gun at a tree.

"I swore I heard this tree breathe." Jake said. The tree was normal, but you couldn't hear them breathe.

Lilianna stayed perfectly still and didn't breathe. She exhaled and then continued being a tree. She closed her eyes tight when she realized one of the men was pointing a gun at her.
