It actually can b surprising, but it's not related to portal at all.
When I suggested the first balista ( http://eggcave.com/forums/topic/18274 ) I didn't even know the existence of portal. I discovered it thanks to @glados after knowing her better. ^^

Ah, this is another interesting one. I particularly like how the egg is a perfect ad of what the Balista will become, and the way how it changes colors in its final stage.

The basic idea was the one of a defective robot. Someone tries to cancel the damge and restore it, but in the last stage, how we can see, it goes crazy. xD

Ahah I played Portal, but how I said this is a remade version of I creature I drawn and submitted one year ago, when I didn't knew Portal yet. 😋
