Cheshire's eyes opened slowly, her mind blurry and confused. She sat up, stretching. As her vision cleared, she could see a tiger inches from her face, and let out a instinctive mixture of a scream and a growl, lurching back into a wall.

Regane stood and started backing away from the two, there was no way they were going to stick a needle in her arm agian. Though her nose told her that the man and monkey reeked of fear she didn't trust that to mean that they were going to be easy to beat.
Obsidian growled and stepped in front of Regane, obscuring the lower half of her body from view. "Run, I'll eat this puny primate for a snack if he does anything to threaten you." He snarled loud enough for the two across the hall to hear. *And let them try,* He thought to himself, *After all, we wolves aren't afraid to die for our comrades. And that is exactly what Regane is.* He glanced back at Regane and found her sniffing at the air in front of them, her tail relaxed and ears set forward in curiosity.
"You know, I wonder if he's really afraid of us or if it's something else that's got him so worried." She murmured to the wolf.
Obsidian gave an exasperated sniff, "And why are you still standing here analyzing this man when I told you to run?"

"Because," Regane responded, "Leaving you alone in a fight goes against my instincts." She slowly started to circle around towards the nearest corpse. Carefully she bent down and removed a shoe from its foot and stood up again. *Now, let's test how serious they are.* She grinned and whipped the shoe at the scientist, hoping that it would hit the mark.

Bobby hid mostly behind Ray's head when he heard the wolf's threat. Ray kept his attention on the wolf, and didn't notice the shoe until it was already thrown. However, Bobby, with the use of his extra sensitive eye, did notice it. Quickly Bobby jumped on top of Ray's head, then caught and stopped the shoe.
"Hey, they're trying to give us the boot!" Bobby snickers at his own joke.
Ray sighs, "You and your puns."
What a strange threat... It seemed to him they were testing the waters... Though he really didn't want to harm them, now they'd left him no choice. That shoe, as odd as it was, was an assault. Now he'd be questioned if he did nothing, and what would be done then? Ray glances up at Bobby, a slight glare of annoyance, not with any of them, but with what he'd now have to do.
"What do you think?" he asks Bobby.
Bobby cheerfully squeaks a response, "Kick ball?"
Ray nods, "Kick ball."
With that, Ray leaps backwards while Bobby throws the shoe at the ground. Once the shoe reaches the level, Ray sharply kicks it, sending the shoe flying forcefully back towards Regane.

Regane knew she couldn't dodge the shoe so she did the next best thing and threw her arms up to block it. She winced as it hit her in the forearm, "That'll bruise later, but at least we know now that they're pretty quick on the uptake." She noticed Obsidian bristle after the shoe made impact.

"The boot?" Obsidian snarled, "Leave it to a primate to make every situation into a stand up comedy." Obsidian dashed forward and aimed a tackle at Ray's legs. He didn't think Regane was ready to kill, not yet. *It would be better to incapacitate them before they pull off any fancy tricks.* He thought, gearing himself for full impact.

Bobby sneers, "Leave it to a mangy mutt to spoil every ones fun!"
Ray shakes his head, "Now, now, no need to be hast-"
He stops abrupt when Obsidian suddenly dashes towards him. Both their hearts leap, and Bobby hides fully behind Ray's head shivering in complete fear. Ray panics, not wanting to take this beast on directly. Though he had little choice. When the wolf is closer, he swings his tail in front of himself, attempting to at least slow the creature, if not push it back. It was a risk though, but it was all he could think of on short time.

Obsidian slowed and clamped his jaws around the human's monkey tail. He sharply yanked it to the side in an attempt to throw Ray off balance. After all, most animals relied on their tails for more than just good looks, right?

Regane picked up the shoe and chucked it at the pair again before running to Obsidian's aid. *I got too distracted, I wasn't expecting a talking monkey-human-thing to kick the dumb shoe back at me.* She reached the scientist in no time and grabbed for his coat to try to pull him down with Obsidian. "He's no mangy mutt you half baked chimp!" She screamed at Bobby.

Chasity sighed putting her papers back into her file. Grabbing out the map reading it. "Darn this place is huge,we have to get down seven floors to get out without getting caught." She said frustrated sitting down, she suddenly heard what sounded like people fighting she quickly got up running towards the commotion seeing a girl with wolf ears and her black wolf and the Scientist Henchmen with a monkey. She hid behind the wall silently watching the two fight

Everything happened so quickly. Before he even had time to utter a sound, a shoe hit him in the back of the head, then he was pulled more off balance when his jacket was yanked. He'd fall over for sure.
Bobby hisses at Regane, "Hands off the doctor's duds!"
Bobby then launches himself at her, attempting to cling to her face.
Ray indeed ends up falling over, narrowly missing landing on the needle. *The dart! How'd I forget about that?* Ray swings the dart at the wolf, hoping it would penetrate the creature's skin. Or at least release his poor injured tail.

Occupation: Guard
Appearance: Wears all black shirt, pants, open toed shoes, etc. Black short hair. White eyes from being blind, blackout sunglasses corded to tie behind his head. Pale skin. Wings are scared, showing they've been torn and healed several times.
Personality: Cold, calculating.
Animal infused with: Little Brown Bat (that is the species name. 😃)
Special Power: Uses sonar to 'see' what is around him, it is high pitched and some animals or fusions can hear it. Flight.
Weapon: Hands are useless for standard human use, so he bites. Feet are clawed, and he used them to slash kick or grab things.
Animal parts: Bat teeth (not a set of fangs, but a full set of teeth, look them up o.o' they're freaky looking) Arms are fused with bat wings, fingers are bat proportion length and have a cloudy pink membrane that complete the useable wings. Bat ears.
Animal Tattoo: Skeletal bat on back of the neck.
Other: Has been in the company for years, has grown cold and mean in that time. Anger is triggered easily. Usually found sleeping while hanging from the ceiling/light fixture. Is 34 years old.
Limits (adding this bit): Sonar can only work so far, loud sounds harm his ears. In short moments between sonar clicks or lack of sound he is 100% blind. If a wing is torn badly he can't fly.

Species: Little Brown Bat
Gender: Male
Appearance: Normal bat, leg has a gold ID ring wrapped around it.

Personality: Cold, sneaky, mouths off a lot.

Special Power: Wing membranes can flash extremely bright when he wants, flash can cause temporary foggy/spotty vision or temporary blindness.

Other: Gets very annoyed if woken up. Can see, but has weak vision.

Regane looked up from dragging at the mans jacket to see a screaming monkey grab at her face and cling on. "Dangit, ofmph mai faphe ooo naspy lil'!" She screamed through a mouth full of monkey fur. She reached up to pull it off of her but got tangled on the mans shoes and fell backwards onto a corpse.
Obsidian saw the needle too late and didn't completely dodge the point. He felt something rush into his skin like liquid fire and howled in pain. He stopped his attack to try to bite at the wound but it was too far out of his reach. He turned at the next best thing and bit into the mans leg instead.

Appearance: He is short and pretty much looks like a hunched over beach ball with arms and legs. He is slightly tanned and has muddy brown eyes. His hair was once a similar color but one of the side effects of the experiment caused him to go completely bald. He usually wears baggy sweat pants and an over-sized scarf that hides the lower half of his face.
Personality: Lars has been disgustingly fascinated with torturing animals since he was young and this has only worsened as he grew older. He is very violent and resents those in a higher position than him on the company ladder. He is sneaky and conniving, often times he goes behind others backs in order to get things done "his way."
Animal infused with: Cane Toad
Special Power: Can jump up to three times his height
Animal parts: Toad tongue (Stretchy/sticky) and large rust colored eyes with slit pupils.
Animal Tattoo: Frog climbing up his face. It sits on his right temple next to his eye.

Species: Cane Toad

Appearance: Like a normal Cane Toad but slightly larger.

Personality: He's very jumpy (literally) and afraid of everything, including Lars.

Special Power: His saliva is stronger than super glue. If he licks your arm and you touch it to something then you will be stuck until water is poured over the spot.

Ky looked over at Chastiy and followed her toward the loud noise. He wasnt surpised when he spotted other kids just like him...one was a monkey, and the other was another wolf. His eyes widened as the monkey pounched. Nix growled. "THOSE IDIOTS" He snarled. "Cant they see we're on the same side?"

Chasity sighed "I guess we should go stop them go for the scientist and wolf girl, Ill get the animals." She said quickly quickly running out of hiding forcing the monkey off Reganes face and knocked Obsidian out with her super strength to stop him from attacking anything else.

Bobby is yanked off her face, he looks at this new person,
"Late? You got to learn to be more punctual."
Ray yelps in pain, and grabs the wolf's scruff, trying to pull it off. Then the wolf is k-oed. He scrambles up and backs away a few steps, trying to figure out what had happened. He sees that Bobby is caught and freezes, then he remembers his injuries after a shock of pain. What would happen now?

Thunder roared, and rain fell in sheets. A lone man walked the streets, with no umbrella. A flash of light, a scream, a crash.
Rodger jerked awake, it was that same nightmare he always had since they'd taken him. It didn't matter... Nothing about that time mattered now. He blinks his eyes awake, still sleepy, still blind. He kept his wings folded around himself, appearing like a cocoon attached to the ceiling. *Where did I fall asleep again?* He thought for a moment, *Oh that's right. I'm in a hallway with that light fixture.*
Hearing nothing but his own thoughts he stretches his wings out and yawns, revealing his bear-trap like teeth. After stretching he refolds his wings and re-tucks his head under them attempting to go to sleep again. At lest he didn't wake Sonar, the small bat hanging next to him. If he did, he'd get chewed out for it, and never get back to sleep.

Obsidian felt his tail weighed down by something and as he turned to see what it was a girl appeared from out of nowhere and punched him into unconsciousness. His jaws went slack and slipped off the scientists leg.

Regane kicked at the girl, aiming for the stomach and scrambled to her feet. "What are you doing?" She yelled seeing Obsidian on the ground motionless. She clenched her fist and felt blood trickle from her palms, she looked down and noticed for the very first time that her fingers ended in claws. *Perfect* She thought. She whipped her claws towards the girl who knocked out Obsidian in an attempt to get her away from him.

Chasity quickly grabbed the monkey with one hand trying to prevent it from biting the unconscious wolf while trying to block Regane`s kick with her arm bruising it a little. "What does it look like trying to stop all of you from killing each other,I didnt come here just to get my butt thrown back in that experimenting room. I came to get you guys out, now you can either go along with me or I can leave you behind and make you find your own way out." She said irritated.

While all this was happening Kuna was discussing matters with Era in the shadows. "Era, I know I should help them but what do I have? Wings and good hearing. Not that good for fighting," Kuna whispered. Era replied impatiently,"Barn owls screech, you infused with barn owl, so that means you can screech." Kuna thought about what Era had said. "okay." Era began to tell everyone to "Plug your ears" The guards were confused by this statement and then were shocked deaf. An earsplitting screech came from Kuna's mouth. Every guard was stunned long enough for everyone to run away to the wolf girl.

Bobby struggles, "Hey, let me go! I'm not a teddy bear."
Ray doesn't know what to do. He couldn't leave Bobby. He couldn't go with them...If he did... He shuttered at the thought. He couldn't let them go either... All ways seemed dead ends...
*They'll never get out of here...* he thinks sadly. Even if they did escape, where would there go? The'd just be found again... right? Escape would be impossible for him, at least if he obviously agreed to it. Maybe they'd take them hostage? That's the only way he could foresee it, and even then...They'd find him. He didn't bother thanking her for breaking up the poorly turning fight, it would only get him entrapped all the more; though he was thankful.
"Please set him down." he asks her.

Ray narrows his eyes, this gave a chance to back out of this fight.
"No. We will not attack you."
Bobby looks annoyed, but after thinking about it; likes the idea of not fighting.
"I won't either. On a monkeys honor." he says covering his heart with his paw.
Ray smirks, "Honor? Really, your pulling that card?"
Bobby blankly glares at him, "Hey, I got honor. Not a lot, yeah, but I got some. And I'll use it here."
Ray shrugs, "Okay then, monkey honor and stuff."

She slowly got to her feet and kept an eye on the monkey duo. She didn't trust them, not for one minute. Her eyes slid to the girl that was holding the monkey "rat". *Does she really know how to get out of here?* "Ok, tell me something then, fox, why don't you want me to fight this man? He's obviously in league with the people that put us here in the first place, so why show mercy now? And another thing, do you really know anything about where we are right now?"

"Just sayin If any of you guys pull something, you will regret it,now I want you to tell me everything you know about this place. She then turned her attention to the wolf girl, "What do you think,the more fighting the less time we can escape,he looks weak anyways." She then pulled out a map "And does this answer your questions."

Bobby cautiously walks to Ray, then climbs up to his shoulder, and wraps his tail around his neck.
"Missed you doc." he chitters.
Ray nods to show he missed him too.
After hearing the demand he asks,
"So that's why you kept us alive to this point. How do I know you won't kill us if I tell you anything?"
In truth he wanted to tell them every thing he knew, however little it was. But he wanted the security of the answer they'd give... And hopefully find a way to not rat out and put himself in more danger...

Nix jumps in "can we trust you?" He snarles." Ky walks out and places his hand on the panthers back. "Calm down nix, we arent sure whats going on either." Ky says. "For now, we should stick together and find a way out of here." "Or we could just rip thier throats out, and get rid of trust issues all together." Nix mutters.

Regane glared at the fox girl, "He may be weak, but he and that little pet of his have some nasty tricks up their sleeves. Obsidian's back is still bubbling from where that one stabbed him." She jerked her head in Ray's direction and shot an accusatory glance his way. Obsidian started to stir and growled in his half awake state.

Regane turned around as two more people walked in on the group, a panther and a boy that was crossed with it. At hearing Nix's comment Regane bristled. *The audacity of this cat!* She thought. "Exactly whose throat are you planning to tear out again?" She growled, feeling both threatened and insulted at the panthers words, even if they were not directed towards her.

"Well, if you recall, that wolf was latched into my tail. I was only defending myself."
Bobby nods, "Yeah!" then blows a raspberry at her.
Ray pushes Bobby's head back gently, not wanting a fight to break out. Bobby takes the hint and stops.
Ray glances down at the wolf, seeing it starting to move again,
"No need to worry either way. That injection wasn't hazardous. At least not to a creature of that size."

The panther starts a low growl. "I am not planning anything." He says. "Unless of course...it becomes nesassary to take that sort of action..." His eyes narrow into slits. "I mean, who exactly are you, little wolf girl?" Nix says stalking over to her. Ky's eyes widen. "Nix, stop it! We cant fight right now..." He strains to hold him back, "we have to find a way to get out of here..." Ky looks at everyone a little sheepishly. "Nix is...a bit frisky. He tried to eat me at first..." He says trying to laugh it off. "But now its ok." Ky adds quickly.

Kuna blinked her eyes open. "Era, what happened? Where is everyone? Era? Era?!?" Kuna began to frantically look around the abandoned hallway. All she saw was a single folder on the ground. Kuna got to her feet and took the folder. She found a record index of EVERYONE ever taken into this experiment. The list showed all the humans by first name with their animal counter part. The failed, the sucessful, and who fused them. Kuna flipped to the K's. "Kuna Thi Nguyen," she read carefully aloud. "Fused with Era the Barn Owl, fused by Erika Phillips, successful with minor complications" Kuna stared at the word "complications." What did that mean? Was there something wrong with her? Her thoughts started to turn to panic. No, she told herself, Don't panic. I have to find the others and Era. Kuna began stalking silently down the hall.

Nix and Ky followed Chasity. Ky gave Nix a look. He understood what Nix was saying about not trusting anybody, but at this point they had almost no choice. Ky wondered if they would find anybody else in this building that was fused with an animal...

Ray rolls his eyes at what Ky says, and mutters sarcastically to Bobby,
"Oh, because that settles our already frayed nerves."
Bobby nods with a cheeky grin.
They both wondered where these people were about to drag them off to, and who they would come across.
Ray still questions whether or not they should run if given the chance... It seemed like the slim chance they had, was the only one they'd get...

The sound of footsteps was getting closer, and waking Rodger more and more with each resounding click. He could hear a pin drop with these darn ears of his...They plagued him somewhat... Who was coming down this hall way? Everyone knew he napped there, and knew to tread lightly. Then he noticed... He didn't recognize these footsteps. His ears perk a bit, listening for more information. The foot falls sounded female, that's all he could get for the moment. He remains still, and keeps the sleeping hanging position. If the person noticed him and ran, he'd know they were an intruder. If they came closer, he'd identify them with sound waves.
The small bat next to him remains sleeping.
