@trish

That's why there's two ideas, to see which eggcaverns like the most 😸

I posted that idea just because it was in my original ticket Ian liked xD

I wouldn't care if I didn't get any CC for it, I'd still buy a Mo/Elge/Blu/Floicol plushie.πŸ˜‹

The first idea might work, but it could only be for monthlies and would only be sold during their month. And I wouldn't be able to get a Tine plush. Dx

@jerseyassasin

I was joking about me making it XD

@metaphor

It'd be kinda an incentive. ;D

And I'd buy... Let's just say I'd be broke.

Yay to idea two, I don't really think anyone would spend $50 on a plushie...

@leopardclaws

Ignore the prices in the screenshot XD It was just to get my idea out and was all I could think of. It was mostly to show the difference between rare vs/ commons

I love it too, more than the first one, but I wanted to include both =W=

It's like. I ask "Auntie Carey/Lisa [Two different people] Can you buy me these plushie [1 each] for my birthday/Christmas? It's only 20 [Okay, 20 to first buy it but 15 cause I get 5 back] dollars :'D"

I get two plushies. And 10 CC cash

Oh God I Love your 1st Idea 😊 I want an Onny plushie NOW ^^
Edit Why not make both kinds available ? One cheaper with CC & one more expensive with a creature code.

Deleted • 12 August 2011 at 4:18 AM

I Totally agree with this idea 😊 It'd be nice to have eggcave plushies.

❀️ And just saying... the site makes a full 20$ profit (minus the production cost or whatever) with the CC because they're not actually giving anything πŸ˜‹

I mean on the person buying's part, cause the CC would still cost you 5.00 - so if you got the CC back you'd only be really paying 15

Lovely idea. If this idea does happen, then I hope that the plushies would be sold globally. *lives in Australia*

@cafe

I really like the first idea, though I think there should be a marker on the pets profile to show it was obtained through a code. I think this is better, because the rares will not be exactly the same as the originals and the regular pets obtained from plushies won't be just regular pets, they'll be special too, like star creatures 😸

If the first idea gets nuked I also like @anori's idea of regular and special edition plushies though (also to lower prices for rares somewhat).

Woop woop.

Yeah

But I hope not a huge thing, like the freezing potion, but like a little shield or something

Sounds good 😊 Like they could set up an etsy for some advertising of not only eggcave, but also the plushes. It would be very hard to sew though.

The sewing of these creatures (labor cost to make just one) themself plus the cost of the fabric is around $50, so to make profit it would have to be around $100, because unlike neopets eggcave creatures are VERY detailed. And colorful, take that into account.

@balletninja

I know, which sucks, but I doubt people would pay 100 for a plushie D8

Maybe it the person making the plushies bought in bulk.

It would equal it out, but only if enough people bought the plushies.

@cafe Yeah...

It is just Ian seems to be taking a break so even if this does becoming institutaed, we don't have that many people that would be able to have it shipped for a reasonable price, or are able to even buy it. Plus he would have to hire a person who could sew fast and well.

Yeah

That's one reason I wish eggcave was a bigger site. More people to buy stuff.

@cafe
if there was plushies, it would also be advertising for egg cave. Also, some people might just buy the creatures without even knowing egg cave existed! πŸ˜‹

Also, maybe users could sign up to make plushies, get activation codes pm'd to them from Ian, and then sell them themselves. But, they wouldn't be allowed to redeem ANY codes themselves. And they would get 5cc per redeemed code free. And there would be some way of getting the money to Ian.
