Running Free is about three herds of wild horses who live in the state of Kentucky in three different terrains. The names of the herds are Wekatae, which lives in the plains, Perenam, which lives in the forest, and Fetteren, which lives in the mountains.

History of the Herds

Ever since the begining of the world there was horses. At
once they divided into three herds,the Wetatae, the Perenam, and the Fetteren. They lived in peace until a horrible sickness swept across the land. A sickness that killed almost everyone. The surviors (3 from each Herd) blamed each other and they stayed out of each others way. Wetatae is on top, in control of everything, the meanset and most powerful. The Perenam, who are wise and swift are second. Fetteren, who are still plagued withthe mysterious sickness, are weakest but their horses are strong but too overpowered to be able to do anything.
