Private Topics?

What is a Private Topic?
# Private topics are topics that do not show up in the forum, and can only be accessed by certain people
# Similar to private mail, but you can have private topics to more than one user
# If you only add one user, there will be an error message that tells you that one-person private topics can just be private messages
# You can add more users if you edit the topic.
# Great for private club chats and other private discussions.
# Private topic posts also don't show up on Livepulse.
# If you ping someone who is not included in the private topic, they won't be able to access the topic.
# If you get added to a private topic, you will receive a notification asking you to accept/decline the invitation.

If you wanted to create a private topic:
1. You press create a topic like you normally would
2. Add whatever content that you need to add
3. Underneath "Poll?", there will be a place to check "Private?"
4. If you check "Private?" you can write users that will be able to see your topic
5. Press Create Topic.

I like this idea, but I don't think there should be private topics controlled my users due to it being a forum, a place where we all come together as whole to communicate. I'm just now reading this, but I think my suggestion (Group Messaging) would help cover this.
