creature insentive

5. What happened instead - nothing happened, after signing up i did not get the creature or its egg.

I got the prompt while feeding other peoples pets and liked the creature so i clicked ok to recieve it upon signing up.

I believe the creature you clicked on was a Gobbler? Did it look like this?: http://i.imgur.com/P6WugSX.png

It's to do with the Find the Gobblers event (blog post). You don't actually get the creature itself (it's retired and will not be re-released). You just try to find as many as possible and the top 50 people that found the most will get a prize. (See the links for more information.)

After you clicked on it, it says this:
"YOU'VE FOUND A GOBBLER!!

Keep searching for Gobblers around Egg Cave! The top 50 finders will receive 100,000 EC and any currently available creature that's in the Cave of their choosing."

It doesn't say anything about winning. Make sure to read it carefully. c;

no it was not a gobbler, it was a cute little bear critter looked like it was holding its feet. I should search the archives if i can find it. It was a little prompt that said I won the creature it was a duplicate of one i had already fed.

it was an incentive to signup and i cant seem to find the little thing... oh well

found it! the thing was called a Mirkang

@fyrekytten Hmm, I sort of see what you mean now. So there was a pop-up saying that if you signed up to Egg Cave, you could get the Mirkang? And you signed up (and confirmed your account) and didn't get the Mirkang?

Do you happen to have a screenshot? D:

Mirkangs were from last Christmas and aren't going to be re-released, so I'm not sure why a Mirkang would pop up. *scratches head*

@karamel no i did not think of taking a screen shot. its ok just thought I would let people know. The post was not so much about getting the critter promised just letting you know it was offered and never came.
