To be honest, since they just got recently released, I have no doubt their worth is still in question.
If you do plan to sell it, I advise you to wait until the prices have become a bit more... Settled.

To answer your question, the Bauble is pretty rare because it was only given out for one day. Anyone who missed the Advent Tree that day also missed getting a Bauble.

This means that the Bauble should be pretty expensive, because it's only one per user, but @newlife is right; it's better to wait and see what the price will settle to be rather than jumping into a deal that's too low or too high.
